Bacon got a little beefy

I had an awesome time riding on this ski. I have always loved playful skis maybe even on the softer side and was a bit worried about them changing up the Sir Francis Bacon. Now just the Bacon, this ski lost none of its playfulness but is much more stable under foot. I found it really fun jumping off things and didn't get bucked around by the chop. I am 6' 195 lbs and rode the 184cm

Bacons are my favorite ski- they are intended for powder but very poppy and playful in most conditions. I havent had another piece of equipment improve my skiing so dramatically.

Have Bacon for Breakfast and Lunch
30 January 2023

I am 5'4", 140lbs and skied this in a 178cm. Given the playful nature of the ski, that was a fine length for me, but I would have also been happy sizing down for more maneuverability in tight terrain and agility popping off features. For solely deep snow riding, I would stick with the longer length, as you would be able to ski it much more forward stance, given the significant tip and tail rocker. The Bacon has been popular for a long time, and this years will be no different. I'm a big fan of a mid- fat waist and it's versatility in terrain. These favor a playful style and slarvy turn, as opposed to high speed carving. Playful ski that does it all!
29 January 2024

This ski really impressed me. Typically I would assume a Bacon to be a floppy noodle with no stoutness and therefore not fun on the hardpack, but I was wrong. It is super buttery and playful, but stable at speed and likes to hook up and carve. All I can say is this ski is super fun and I had a blast riding it.

The Baconator Rips
21 February 2024

After dropping the formality of Sir Francis this ski has only gotten better...taking its cues from its predecessor this re-vamp keeps the softer tips and tails but beef's things up underfoot considerably which makes this ski incredibly stable with the right combination of camber and rocker it practically turns itself. Only beef is that it is somewhat on the heavier side.

The best kind of pocket bacon!
29 January 2024

The Bacon 108's everything I loved about the OG Sir Francis Bacon and more! With the same surfy feeling as the previous generation but with a bit more stability id say its a solid upgrade from before. The overall wider platform is super versatile and can still carve on groomers well. The tips and tails didn't have much chatter even though they're on the softer side which impressed me. I think it'd be a solid resort ski or even a hybrid backcountry ski with a more playful feel for jumps. Super fun overall!

The best ski I've tried in a long time. Fun, stable and spee
24 January 2023

I LOVE THIS SKI!! I'm a go-fast girl that would happily carve it up on groomers all day long, but I always like to make my way over to more technical terrain to mix it up, challenge myself, and hopefully find some untouched snow. As someone who didn't used to go above a 105 underfoot, this 108 is so incredibly easy to maneuver, very stable at high speeds and never felt wiggly or hard to handle in deeper parts. It moves through bumps like a champ and the turn initiation is almost effortless. I would get giddy taking this out on a full-on pow day just as I would feel confident riding it on hardpack any/ every day. It's just that good.

Versatile all mountain park ripper
29 January 2024

I am a fairly aggressive expert rider with a background in freestyle. I rode the 184 and I really liked the feel of this and the mounting positions that line offers. Nothing changed this year besides the cool new robot graphics. Solid enough for the hard pack yet soft and nimble enough for ripping up some park laps. These skis are built to last with the new top sheet materials they are using. This is a good ski for if you only want 1 but have extensive needs in a ski. Powder to park, park to groomers, groomers to trees this ski can do it all.
