Lipton Black Tea is my favorite beverage to drink. I make it in a picture and put it in my fridge or I will make sun tea and put it outside or I will make HOT tea depending what kind of mood I'm in. It is always tea for me. With lipton tea bags you can make it several different ways. They also have decaffeinated lipton tea which I also buy and drink. Just put some sugar in it and your off to the river. Lipton tea is very easy to make and it tastes amazing. Lipton is also a very good quality of tea so it is a little spendy but well worth it. The tea has good flavor. I was using the black tea bags and found there to be a sediment in the cup. I would pour my hot cup into a thermal flask to keep it warm longer and I would see the “sediment in the bottom do I would stop pouring. Of course the 200 pack yea increased in price suddenly from 3.99 to 5.99 It was dated Aug 19 2024 but there was no way to finish 100 bags in less than a month. I found that I was having heart palpitations when drinking the caffeinated tea so I switched to the decaf tea bags. It actually tastes better and no palpitations as

Deteriorating quality

I have been using Liptons yellow label black tea since 1980. It used to be my absolute favorit tea. Now however, the tea bags seem less filled, requiring more bags to achieve the same flavor level. Also, the bags frequently split open without any agitation; they burst just from the addition of the boiling water. The contents of the bags seem to be 'dustier' with very fine tea particals rather than chopped leaves resulting in a film around the tea cup even if the bag did not burst.So, in summary, the cost has remained very competitive but the quality has truly deteriorated. Such a pity. I will be changing brands after over 40 years of being a loyal customer.

Lipton Black Tea changed about 6 months ago

For over 70 years I drank and loved Lipton black tea. Both loose and bags. About 5 or 6 months ago I tasted a change in the taste. It wasn't just a small difference, it was VERY dramatic and it was terrible. The color of the tea was also different. I tried both loose black tea and bags. Both had the same terrible flavor. I tried 4 boxes of loose tea over a month or so and then gave up until yesterday. The recent box of loose black tea tastes different than the earlier terrible tea but still does not taste anything like your black tea should. My wife and I both immediately said it had an "instant tea" taste to it. It is hard to believe that Lipton black tea could have gone this bad this quickly. Wasted Money While Doubling The Work

I have been using Lipton tea bags for 50 years; a recipe followed by my mother. Like everything these days, the quantity and quality have drastically gone downhill. On multiple occasions, I had noticing I was having to increase the amount of tea bags to get an actual tea flavor. The last box and probably my final box contained 100 bags. Between all of the empty bags and the ones covered in loose tea, I probably was able to save less than half. In order to use what I did keep, I have to strain it because the tea grounds are so thick.I picked up a generic store brand and had a better result of the quality than what I have gotten in the past 6 months with Lipton.
