I have been looking for a decent chalk pen for a while and after buying numerous pens off Amazon and EBay and not one of them did the job right! So I decided to pay that little bit extra and order one from hobbycraft - best decision made! Works perfectly and it shows you that you pay for decent quality.

Good price for the product was just what I needed last minute item and I would purchase again. Worked well on my blackboard project. Easy to use and worked well bold white. Would be interested if they did other colours too!

Bought this after watching an online Hobbycraft blog. Can be purchased as part of an online bundle (click & collect) for extra savings! Easy to use, doesn't overflow and is fabulous for mache projects or chalkboard designs. Would highly recommend!

As long as you shake the pen vigorously for several seconds the first time, it writes beautifully. The white is thick and consistent and looks almost like paint. Excellent chalk pen.
This is the first time I've used a chalk pen by Uni, and so far I am impressed with the quality of it as compared with the other brands I have used. So far it functions more reliably in usage than other brands I've used.I am pleased with even though I've not used it extensively yet. (Uni Chalk Pen 1.8 -2.5 mm nib)
The pen is definitely much easier and neater than using chalk and looked great on a jar with a chalkboard lid for a gift.Only thing I'll say is it was tricky to get the ink flowing in the pen and the pictures on the pen didn't really help. In the end pressing the nib down hard on a test piece of paper got it going in the end.
This product has lasted fantastically. We would have benefitted with one that had a finer tip but none were available apart from the hobby craft own brand which sadly wasn’t as good. This one is great though!
I tried the bigger chalk pen from hobbycraft and it was too big for what I needed unfortunately so I bought this one and it’s got a much finer nib for better detail. Took a while for the ink to come out but once it did, it’s excellent. Easy to use and good quality, I’m really pleased with it!
My husband asked me to have a look if Hobbycraft sold these. I did do and and I found them. I bought a pack and my husband was very pleased with my purchase.
I found this product very useful! I wanted to put a design on a faux leather jacket, and my original idea was to use acrylic paint. I found this chalk marker a lot easier to mark out where I wanted the design with more accuracy and it wiped away fairly easy after use (with a wet sponge)!
