The secret to effective use is not being a wuss, and holding it in your mouth as long as you can stand it. Don't just let it stand there, swish it around and make sure every single surface of your mouth is covered. Once you're numb to it, commit to a healthy gargle and let some of it slide down the back of your tongue and kill all the nasty things that live in your throat. As long as you can conquer the pain and fear of a Listerine rinse, it will conquer anything that ails your mouth-hole. Forget about Scope, Crest and "extra gentle" Listerine. That stuff is as useful as Lava soap that doesn't burn off the top layer of your skin. Suck it up, bite the bullet, and buy this stuff in bulk. You can never have too much Listerine.

This one is really good too. It DEFINITELY leaves your mouth feeling minty fresh. The only thing at least to me, I feel like this one doesn't leave it feeling as fresh as the green one. Like, this one doesn't really pack on the punch. Its not as strong as the green one. This is strong, but it also leaves you with a minty breath. So this is good for someone who wants to get rid of bacteria in their mouth, but who also wants to leave with their breath feeling and smelling minty fresh as well as having their mouths tasting minty fresh as well. Mouthwash has an aftertaste, so you want the aftertaste to be minty too! Hopefully that made sense!

Why in the world would you discontinue your only product for those who prefer a fluoride-free product without dyes and artificial sweeteners? This makes no sense with a growing community of people who are trying to stay away from things that have become concerning. Are there plans to produce a replacement product, a new flavor, or something? I have been using this product for years, probably since it first came out. I was disappointed when the large size was phased out, forcing me to have to buy multiple bottles at a time, but now it's totally done away with? Look at all of the reviews you are getting about this, and consider just how small of a part of the population actually gives reviews. Most, perhaps all, who switched from your conventional products years ago are not willing to go back. We will find something else if you cannot meet our needs. I am very saddened by your choice as this was a great product. I do hope you will either reconsider the choice to discontinue this product or will VERY SOON be providing a new product that meets the needs of those of us who want an all-natural mouthwash without fluoride, without dyes, without artificial sweeteners, and so on.

Idk honestly I like to read labels, it doesn't do the exact same thing as the regular Listerine, but that stuff burns, and scallops my tongue, not cool. According to my dentist and hygienist, if we brush and floss twice a day, we only really need to use a fluoride mouthwash. There are some out there that are misinformed from "Dr. Google" but in all honesty, talk to your dentist and hygienist, ask questions, that's what they are there for. If you don't get it, keep asking until you understand. Fluoride protects against cavities, especially if we don't drink city water (my kids and I don't, our water tastes funny). This stuff is extremely intense as it is the original formula and there’s a lot of healing antibacterial properties to it as well. I would highly recommend taking a shot of plain water right after using it which you can use the black cap that it comes with to do so.  The recommended usage however it is as follows: 01 Pour 20 milliliters (4 teaspoons) of LISTERINE® Antiseptic rinse into a cup. 02 Empty the cup into your mouth. Don’t dilute the solution with water. 03 Swish for a full 30 seconds (try counting to 30 in your head or using a stopwatch). Don’t worry if you can’t get to 30 seconds the first time – it gets easier each time you try. 04 During rinsing, gargle in your mouth. 05 Spit the solution out in the sink. 

I’m am writing this review as a part of an incentivized campaign. I purchased this product at the store in order to complete this campaign. First, the taste of the product was just like cool mint. Cool mint, like cool mint gum or peppermint patties. I was relieved. This instantly made my breath fresh within the first week. On day 12 I noticed that plaque was nearly nonexistent on my teeth! I used to use a tool to remove plaque but no loner need to, due to this great mouthwash. With continued use it does protect from gum disease, which also was enticing. I really liked completing this challenge and noticing real changes all the way through the 22 days. Thanks Influenster and Listerine for the opportunity!

Bring back Listerine NATURALS

I decided on this Listerine product bc this product has the natural thymol and alcohol (etc.), and no parabens. I was looking for Listerine Naturals until I learned Listerine discontinued this product. Listerine, I am HIGHLY disappointed! I miss the naturals product. I don’t like colors and other unhealthy additions to a product. This Listerine Cool Mint tastes like gum. Th artificial sweetener is too much. I would rather have no sweetener of any kind, but since this was my only option, put less in the product. I had stale gum breath after. Otherwise, this Listerine product is by far the lesser of the evils on shelves. This product doesn’t have Sucralose, and after some homework can potentially be harmful to your teeth. It works!!!!

I have very sensitive teeth and gums and I have to have my gums. My last dentist appointment they did a complete cleaning including my gums. I didn’t feel a thing. I was so relieved because usually I am in pain and sore after they clean my teeth. I use Crest sensitive toothpaste and this lister one sensitive mouthwash together everyday since they came out with this mouthwash. I am so happy that it works. My teeth and gums don’t hurt when I drink hot or cold drinks or ice cream. This has been a life saver for me. It’s getting hard to find this in my area and the supermarket stop getting this. Please don’t discontinue this product. I need this it works well with the sensitive toothpaste. I won’t use anything else.
