The work platform is really awesome and a must have. It complements the versatile little Giant ladder. I have already used it and I love it. No more achy foot souls and shins, I can now comfortably stand over this sturdy platform and carry out any task without being worried of losing my balance. I would definitely recommend it.

What a great item! We own 2 as we are using 2 ladders at the same time. It really gives your legs/feet a rest when standing on the ladder for a long period of time. You don't have to curl your toes around the rung like a gorilla. It holds 310+lbs for hours, very strong! It will fit any brand aluminum rung ladder of varying tread sizes. We have used it on our Little Giant & Gorilla multi-position ladders. It's as easy to use as the video shows. I can't say enough positive. We have used on a step ladder also. If you spend a lot of time on a ladder rung while doing a specific task, & find your legs/feet tired; try one. Your body will thank you!

This came standard on my M17 Little Giant I purchased from Sam's. I am so pleased with it I am recommending it after finding it was sold separately.I am somewhat unstable, and this feature helps me tackle jobs I normally would dread. Please check out YouTube videos on how to use the Platform by using your foot to toe it in place - the instructions that came with my ladder didn't describe this.Note that the Work Platform hangs in place inside the ladder securely when collapsing it for storage. I like how Little Giant pays attention to such details in their designs.
Used this while installing my gutter guards today and it works great. Just as the video's on the web site show. Easy to take on and off, lightweight and simple. Allowed me to stand without putting pressure on my legs and made me feel more secure while on the ladder. Legs weren't as sore as they usually are after using a ladder.
I purchased the Little Giant work platform to use while cleaning my RV. The actual ladder rungs are relatively narrow and can make your foot arches sore , possibly even cramped if standing on them for any length of time.The platform gives one an expanded sturdy flat surface to spend that extra time on when standing on your ladder for more than a few minutes for things like washing your RV or working under your homes eaves.

I store my ladder horizontal to the floor on hooks, and the work platform remains securely in place even when the ladder is turned on its side.The work platform itself is rated at 375 pounds. However, it is your ladder type that actually determines how much the platform can hold. For example, a Type 1AA ladder is rated at 375 pounds. That means the platform can hold 375 pounds when used on a Type 1AA ladder. A Type 1A ladder is rated at 300 pounds. Even though the platform itself is rated Type 1AA, the weight limit would be 300 pounds when used on this type of ladder. Similarly, if your ladder is rated at 250 pounds, you can only put 250 pounds on the platform.The Little Giant Work Platform is extremely solid and very easy to install. Probably for legal and financial reasons, they recommend using it only with Little Giant ladders. It fits and works perfectly on my Vulcan multi-task ladder, and I like it so much that I am going to get one for my brother who has a 22' Werner Type 1A Multi-Task Ladder.Its versatility and high quality construction make the Little Giant Work Platform a must-have accessory for multi-task ladders. My only complaint is that it is rather expensive.
I am very happy to have purchased the Aluminum Platform for my Little Giant Ladder.It takes away foot pain from standing on the narrow rungs. Having a more stable platform to stand on is worthy of paying a little extra for safety and comfort.

The legs and the platform did not lay completely flat like it should when completely folded together. I went ahead and used it, and it worked perfectly. But in the infomercial it shows that you can store the platform inside the ladder when not in use. Since my platform is slightly twisted, it won't fit perfectly and easily inside the ladder. With some quick adjusting it will finally fit inside the ladder. I didn't send the platform back because when I'm actually using it, it works great, and it's not worth my time to try to return it.Overall, the value of this little piece vastly outweighs the cost. I would recommend this product to anybody.
I bought this about 3 weeks ago. I install signs usually on high surfaces, or vinyl on glass. This allows me to have an easier work position and also allows for better balance and product grip. I purchased two because at times we need to have two people on each side of the ladder. It has been a real time saver, and has paid for itself several times over. Also, for safety, the platform allows us to stand up straight to grip on to the product and use our drills or other tools with ease. Much harder to do when your mind is on keeping balance and not letting go of the product. One also spends time holding on to the ladder, when your time and effort really needs both hands and attention to the task in front of you.
