This dog is cute, but apparently there is a technical problem inside, because it gets stuck in a whining mode and that is ALL it will do! (wouldn't even GIVE it one star if I didn't HAVE to!) We exchanged one already for the same reason, so this one is going back too, but for a refund. It's too bad, b/c my Granddaughter just loved it to peices and NOW we have to figure out what to say about Santa's broken Christmas gift that can't be fixed! Ugh!

I gave this puppy to my daughter for Christmas, it has only lasted two weeks!! It is stuck in barking mode. This was not a cheap toy. My daughter is heartbroken! Save your money and don't buy!!

This dog is cute, but apparently there is a technical problem inside, because it gets stuck in a whining mode and that is ALL it will do! (wouldn't even GIVE it one star if I didn't HAVE to!) We exchanged one already for the same reason, so this one is going back too, but for a refund. Glitched 1 month after purchase. I thought it was the batteries but once i replaced the batteries it continued to glitch. Never worked right expensive piece of junk.
My daughter loves this toy. After searching online for weeks before Christmas, I was able to order online and pick it up from a Walmart location a week before Christmas. This is an awesome gift for little girls. She carries the pup everywhere with her. It's quite realistic as well.
I bought this puppy for my 7 year old grand daughter as it was on her Xmas list. After a week we replaced the batteries twice and it still wouldn't work. A few days later, he fell off the bed and suddenly started working again but by the next day he was dead and she planned a funeral. After a few more days he suddenly woke up and made some noises. He works intermittently but when he does work he is cuddly and lifelike. A lot of money for a part time dog!!
I received a previously opened and returned item from Walmart.com. There were missing parts, ripped packaging and all of the rubber bands to hold the animal in were cut so it was slipping around in the box. Sooooooo disappointed as the person packing this knew this was not a new item they were shipping. Awful awful awful.
My now 8 y.o asked for this for her birthday and she loves it. She sleeps with it every night. It’s like a real puppy
My 5 year old great niece has hardly put it down since she received it - and adores it. Batteries last pretty well considering it's been on a lot of the time and after replacing the original batteries pretty swiftly the fresh ones have lasted the week. The puppy is so cute.
My disappointments in the item were it took a long time to get it out of the package without damaging the box or the item. Also, the batteries included with the item were dead upon arrival. This is going to be a Christmas gift so I'm glad I checked it before I wrapped it. (That was the reason the item needed to be removed and then replaced in the original box.)
