this is a great way to introduce your baby to swings. It doesn’t go to high or sideways like park swings. It is very sturdy plastic with good latching. @littletikes has a great reputation and offer many different toys for kids. My grandson just got his on his 1st birthday and he loves it. Both my grown sons had the same kind. It has been making kids happy for a long time.

8 month old loves it.

Good buy for the money. I bought this for my 8 month old son. Obviously, you have to supervise children while they're in it so I haven't had any problems with it as far as safety. The only part I think could use work is the strap latches. They're not as easy to release as other swings I've used but it latches securely and my son loves to swing. He'll use it for a long time. I put in on my regular sized swing set and the length of the ropes were perfect.

Best birthday present for my son!

Got this for my son for his first birthday and he LOVES it. It comes with S hooks, so all you need is eye-hooks to screw into wherever you’re having it which is super nice. The rope is fairly short so you don’t have to worry about having a big space to swing back and forth, also really nice. Very happy with this purchase! My son would swing all day if I let him and some days we just can’t get to the park so it’s great to have just on our porch. There’s plenty of room for him to grow and still fit in the seat. We plan to get several years out of it!

Cheaply made

This is NOT the same high quality Little Tikes swing that came out in the 90’s that my children loved. I expected to buy this for years of enjoyment for my grandson but I do not feel secure with its non-sturdy quality and performance. This swing is rickety and cheaply made. I expected it to be the same swing and I was highly disappointed. Must be another cheaply China made product. :-(

Common sense

I was asked to install this swing for a friend. I found the swing to be sturdy and well built, especially from a safety standpoint. I read the reviews and instructions (online) before installing. I was surprised by the negative reviews, most of which complained about the lack of installation instructions. The manufacturer cannot include the necessary hardware for installation due to the simple fact that they cannot anticipate the wide variety of options to hang the swing. If I were to hang it at my home, I would use one of my existing trees as I don't have an option to suspend from a porch or deck. Where I am installing it, rafters under the deck allow for screw-in eye bolts. At a former house, I could have used eye-bolts but with a screw-on bolt affixed to a metal ... MoreI was asked to install this swing for a friend. In each case, a bendable S-hook attaches the rope swing to the eye-hook. Any decent hardware store can recommend the weight load for the hardware so you have sufficient strength for the swing and child. Anyone who can't figure this out realistically should be having someone else install the swing. Be safe!

Great swing. But please heed the weight guidelines

The swing was built with good quality materials, allowing a child to be comfortable mile still being quite secure, which allows the parents their own type of comfort!One thing I did want to mention, after reading some of the reviews posted here on Walmart's website, I'm surprised that many parents are not adhering to the age and weight guidelines set forth by the manufacturer. I'm all for bending the rules on some things, but never when it comes to my child's safety. Nice toddler swing but made cheaply

My 4 yr old, 2 yr old and 8 month old love this swing! My complaint is that the buckles on the straps seem very cheap and poorly designed so I am constantly checking to make sure they are patched in with no doubt that they will pop out. Also, the ropes that are attached to the swing seat are also the ropes that attach to the beam and they are a little uneven so the swing kind of swings sideways which makes me a little crazy. The kids don’t notice or care and I’m not driving an hour to exchange or return it so I guess we will live with it. The thing I will never understand is attention to detail/quality control with these big companies. They should be embarrassed to put products on the market that are less than par. Not pleased at all.Wouldn't recommend or buy again

This is not even remotely as good as the swing seats of the same brand my children had when they were toddlers. One of the ropes arrived frayed and the mechanism for securing the chest guard is not intuitive. The straps over the shoulders are too easy for my one year old grandson to wiggle out of and he ends up being secured by the T-bar, at which point, I have to stop swinging him and get him back into the useless shoulder straps. Also one day this week, one of the clips holding the strap to the T-bar opened mid swing. No one touched it and it wasn't a very vigourous session. Thank goodness I noticed immediately. If the seats had not been installed and used I would return them but I expect there are no returns on used items even if they are rubbish

Strap broke after 2 years

I attached this swing to an existing swing set so that our youngest who was only 6 months old could use the swing. The swing attached easily enough to the existing swing set and once my youngest was strapped in it seemed very secure and she has not come close to falling out.However, I have three issues with this swing:Firstly, one of the webbing straps has broken and the other appears to be somewhat fragile and will probably break soon as well. I have not used this swing very heavily just occasional use by a fairly slight toddler who is now two and a half. Admittedly, I have left the swing attached to the swingset out in the elements for two seasons and I expect that the sun has degraded the polypropylene webbing. When I try to put her in from the front the seat moves backwards and it is almost impossible to hold the seat and put her into it at the same time. I end up putting her in from behind so that I can stand behind the seat and stop it moving backwards. This is not a huge deal but it is a little bit awkward.Thirdly, I note that the rope supporting the chair appears to be some kind of cheap yellow polypropylene just like the webbing straps. I expect that the rope will eventually degrade in the sun and break so I am careful to inspect it before use. I knew that the rope was polypropylene when I bought the swing and the rope seems to be holding up fine so that is not a problem yet but something to be aware of.Finally, I note that the swings on the existing swing set are held up with chain wrapped in plastic and they appear to be holding up fine after almost 10 years of having been left out in all kinds of weather (and it was not an expensive swing set).This swing is okay if you don't need it to last for more than a season or two .

Works well as a swing. A pain to adjust straps

This swing is easy to put up as long as you have a place to hang it. We replaced a swing on our swing set with this one. The buckle system is pretty cheap but they seem to stay in place pretty well. If you have multiple kids using it and need to adjust the straps, know that it is a bit of a pain. And the swing also tilts to one side and rotates a bit if the ropes that are holding it aren’t perfectly inline with each other.
