Loved and bought this product because the rim is round. Some companies are making not round rims, so watch out for that! I thought it would be great for my 2 and 9 year old, however it is only good for toddlers. The piece that is supposed to help the basket get taller does not work at all. I tried duck taping it to a taller level and that piece the 2 little dots that are supposed to keep it in place quickly broke off. It is now forever at smallest height. Not a good design. The hoop cannot stay at a 90 degree angle. The weight of the hoop and the poor design of the plastic notches that hold it up allow it to tilt. So instead of the hoop at 3 o'clock (in relation to the backboard) it slants down at around 4 o'clock or 100-110 degree. Also the plastic peg used to adjust the height broke off within a couple weeks of use. Look for something better even for a 5 or 6 year old.

We were given this goal as a gift for my son who is just getting into sports. Upon assembly the rim was not level. He’s only had it a couple weeks and the rim is already leaning soon to break. It’s a poor design that could easily be fixed if someone put a little thought behind it. He was over excited to get it but to know it probably wont make it past a month is disheartening to say the least.

We bought the Little Tykes Adjust 'n Jam Pro Basketball Set as a gift for our grandsons who are two and five years old. It was very easy to put together and they were playing ball within minutes of unboxing. They've had it for a few months now and we have not had an issues with breaking parts as some others have reported. Hopefully, this will continue to be the case.
My son has this and loves it. There was a bad storm and the clip to lock the height in popped off when it fell. The clip was blown away. I have searched and searched for a replacement and can not find one. My son is growing and the hoop needs to go up but no way to hold it in place. Very disappointing. There are very few replacement parts for this model.
The net is very small-only fits a ball that was included. I wished it fitted the basketball ball. The base is smaller than the previous version of the basketball net. Neither it has 2 front wheels to be able to move the net to a different spot. It serves the purpose but deffinitelly it is not as good as the older version I had.
The main drawback I had with this hoop is sort of a “make or break” deal. The rim, out of the box after assembly, doesn’t stay up. Essentially, the rim is always tilted downward instead of being level which makes it harder to use and play with as intended. While it’s still standing, it’s really distracting and unfortunate that this one problem really detracts from the experience. I had a hoop similar to this growing up and probably spent hundreds of hours using it so I was hoping for the same for my son. I’ve tried to wedge things under the rim to make it stay up and level but no luck. From what I’ve read in other reviews, others have also experienced the same problem. After reading all the bad reviews I still decided to purchase this hoop for my 7 and 3 year old. So far no issues! The rim stays put even with a small sized real basketball. Yes the rim is breakable when you dunk but it easily pops back in place and isn’t flimsy at all. I followed the instructions carefully to avoid the rim problem and haven’t had any issues. BTW my boys are rough.
Package was a return from someone else. It was not secure with original taping. There was a toy light saber and a bubble blowing tube added to the inside of box The basketball is not in the box. Not very appreciative of send a used item sold as NEW!! Very disappointed. Especially as a Christmas gift for grandchildren.
we had the other basketball goal and it was great, so we gave it away to family members with a younger child, and assumed we upgraded to this one. Well, my son has not dunked one time on this, as i raised it to the maximum however this rim collapses every time a shot is made!! If i could figure how to keep the rim from doing so on simple shots, believe me, this review would have never been created!
