I wanted something for my toddler to play with and the height is adjustable. He comes down past the door handle and perfect height for my toddler. When my older kids want to play it can be adjusted higher.

I know Little Tikes makes great quality, lasting products so when I saw this, I had to get it! I have a 4 yr old grandson and I know that it'll last through his playing and still be there for his soon to be born sister! I love that it's adjustable to grow with him and can be used indoors too, so it'll burn up some of his energy all year round!

Great for the younger ages! My little one is just shy of 3 ft tall and we only need two of the blue pieces for my little one to reach, so it easily can be used for a much tinier child. My father in law assembled it and had no trouble getting the net on. I know other reviews mentioned it was difficult, but either they got a dud net or little tikes changed it.
This was the most unexpectedly loved gift this year - competing with an awesome, big construction toy! The price had me worried it wasn't going to be as good as it's free standing competitor but it surpassed my expectation. For our home, it works well with being able to move it wherever, play on hardwoods or carpet, and adjust the heights. My only critique is that I wish there was a more accurate adjustment setting. You only get the long, fixed segments and the hoop is the only real adjuster that can end up with the bars underneath the hoop which doesn't allow it to be flushed against the door. Overall, we all love this inexpensive and well made basketball hoop!
This is one of my son's favorite toys. He is a very small, short 2 year old and the lowest level is perfect for him. It is made out of thick plastic and holds up well-even with my 6 year old and 2 year old. They are rough boys!! I love that it can grow with them. It's a great toy for the money and definitely lives up to the Little Tikes brand!!
It is very unstable on the door and moves around when shoot the ball. The extenders are flimsy and don’t hold when my 18 month old “dunks” in the ball. I’ll be returning this item.
I was considering purchasing this for my niece. I had purchased one for my son years ago and he got years of use out of it. As a previous reviewer stated it does rough up the door it’s hung from but the easy fix is self adhesive Scotch Brand cabinet door silicone bumpers. I discovered this when I got tired of hearing “mom the flannel sheet fell again” that I used to hang over the door under the hoop to prevent scuffs. If I do decide to get this for her I will have to include a pack of silicone bumpers and a square of felt for under the door hanger or my sister won’t ever let her use it lol
I bought this for my twin 2 1/2 year old grandsons. I tried and tried but couldn't get the net to fit . maybe its me? Also when the boys shoot or "dunk" the ball the whole thing slams against the door and moves. Besides being annoying its scratching up the door. I read about people putting double sided tape to hold it in place but I feel if you buy a product you should not have to go out and have to buy more stuff to "rig"it so it is more user friendly. Perhaps if they redesign it so there is some slip proof padding around the back edges of the backboard it may resolve the issue. Some people may not want to tape a basketball backboard to their door...especially if you rent and don't own the apartment.
My toddler loves basketball, and this is finally the toy set that fits over the door but it's reachable for a 3 year old. Thank you little tikes for bringing this wonderful products to our lives!
