When we received this box...%231 The box was a "mess". The tape on the ends of the box were, like theywere "retaped". %232 There were brown spill marks, of some sort, on the back side of the box. %233 Gave this item to my granddaughter that had turned 1 year old, at a party her parents had for her. How embarrassing to find out that this was not ALL in the box. It was missing the umbrella!!!!

Cute..not the most functional

This table here! The logic behind it is there, but the follow through is not. The instructions make it look simple. Boom! Boom! Boom! Step 1 is simple. Step 2…babyyyyyyyy. Putting the legs in is easy. Getting the black piece to fold up to get the legs to stay in place is like pulling teeth. After the first couple of times getting them in there it gets a bit easier, but after folding the table and trying to get the black pieces to go back into place after a few hours…pulling teeth. Probably won’t be folding it up again unless it’s necessary. My daughter shouldn’t hear all the profanities I’ve shouted at this table.

Defective Design

As others as mentioned, I could not sucessfully put the table together, the plastic latch that is supposed to easily "flip up" to keep the table secure does not work. At first I thought one of the pieces was warped, but the plastic latches are too small to fit over the plastic table piece. Spent 30 mins trying to get both pieces in and jammed my finger attempting, terrible design and I will be returning.

Is mine defective or are these impossible to put together?

This is IMPOSSIBLE to assemble. It’s the most simple assembly ever, yet the pieces do not fit. I’m warping the plastic to get the sides secured and it’s still not working. I was thinking I got a defective one but a lot of the reviewers seemed to have a similar issue. I looked a video of how to assemble online thinking there was a trick, but she just simply pops it into place, so clearly some of these fit together better than others. Extremely frustrated and might need to return just because I can’t assemble it. So silly.

Little Tykes is the Best!

The Little Tykes Picnic Table is absolutely wonderful for our grandchildren! It’s sturdy, strong, safe and matches perfectly with our thirty year old Little Tykes Playhouse that not only our children played in, but now our grandchildren too! Little Tykes is the best company out there for toys! They lead to imagination and fun while lasting forever! Great job, Target for carrying a winner!

Not sturdy

I bought this table and returned the 1st one thinking it was defective but it isn’t. 1st one broke trying to snap black hooks into place. 2nd one almost the same issue. You need strength to secure into place. Table was wobbly from the get go. I have a 2yr old boy and 3 yr old girl. This was a daily used table because I wanted something sturdy, easy wipe up to clean and portable. Everything I was looking for except this was not sturdy. This is my 1st disappointment with this brand.

Pain to set up!

This is super cute. My daughter got it for her birthday. The directions are straightforward and simple. Actually doing it is another story. The legs did NOT want to latch in- the black pieces to lock them in place seemed too short and I felt like I was going to break them trying to set it up. Eventually managed but smashed the dickens out of my hand and the area is definitely tore up. The bench seats and I had to almost climb on to get into place and smashed in one side on the bottom. It’s cute but I don’t see how I’ll be able to fold it up since I could barely get it together and damaged it in the process.

Perfect size for Tots

This is a great little table set for my 2 year old. The umbrella is adjustable which is great. I gave this 4 stars because it can be difficult to LOOK clean. It has texture on the tabletop which no matter how much you clean it, it seems to hold in dirt since the color is so light. The seats have a different type of texture as well but they don't seem as dirty because they're a little darker in color. I've used many different cleaners on it and disinfect it often. Luckily the cleaners haven't pulled any of the color off. With all that said- I'd still recommend it as it is an outdoor set and is expected to get dirty.

Terrible Assembly

I really wanted to love this table, but the assembly makes that impossible! I tried to assemble this and it will NOT fit like it claims. I understand it’s a tight fit, but the black latch will not line up with the groove in the blue legs so it can snap into place. Called Little Tikes and was suggested to heat the plastic with a hair dryer to “reshape” it so it could snap in, but all the hair drying in the world won’t reshape 3/4 inch of blue plastic. They’re sending me new legs for the table, I hope they’ll work, and if not, it’ll be returned.

Very Hard to open and close!!!

This table is cute, but extremely hard to close and open (for storage purposes). I thought we were going to break the table piece that is suppose to click into place for table stability. This piece is also used to fold. It was just as difficult to un-do. I see where other reviewers have complained about the same thing. Disappointed in this, as a main purpose of my purchasing was having an easy storage option. This is NOT the case, and it’s functionality for that is a waste. Also, please be aware that this table will fit 2 (small) children, only. It’s not as big as I thought, but that was my fault for not reading measurements.
