I got this lawnmower for a 2 year old I nanny for Christmas because they is obsessed with watching the landscapers. They absolutely loves it! The only issue I have is the pull string to “start” the lawnmower is so loud. I understand it’s supposed to mimic a real one but definitely an outside toy because it’s to loud inside.

I got the Gas ’n Go Mower because every playdate we went to had one, and the kids would go mad for it! Now that we have our own, I can see why it’s such a hit. It looks just like a real mower, with fun mechanical sounds, a clicking key, and a handle to pull and “pretend to start it”. My kids also loved pretending to “fill up” the removable gas can and hearing the beads pop as they push it around. No batteries are needed, which is a bonus! It’s a fantastic toy for outdoor or indoor play and keeps the little ones entertained for hours—definitely a must-have! Oh also a great way to burn some energy, because they love running back and forth with the mower “mowing the lawn”.

Bought this for my nephew’s second birthday. He loves it. Spends all day chasing after his parents while they cut the grass with the real life version. Even his 6 year old sister fights him for it. Technically had to return since someone else bought him the same thing but I’m still taking credit since he loves it so much!

Have wanted one of these for a while as my toddler always tries to help me mow the lawn. All the added features on this make it more than just something to push around. The pull cord seems a clear favourite, followed by the lever and key on the handle. The popping noise it makes as it is pushed along is fun and the bright colours are exciting and eye catching. The addition of the fuel can is great although my daughter is yet to understand what it is for!
The idea of it is good and it looks nice too, but it has a few flaws. I don't know what kind of lawn other people have but it is impossible for my 22month old to push it over the lawn - even if cut short!! When the child puts a bit pressure on the handle in order to push it over the lawn it tilts with the front up. So in our case it can only be used on hard ground. The petrol can falls constantly out due to the vibrations while in use. And it is a shame that u cant actually put water in the little can to pretend to fill the mower up.Never the less: child loves it and uses it a lot in the house (pretty annoying due to the clicking noise).Over all a nice quality and a product with lots of things to do for a child but since at least younger children cant push it over ... MoreThe idea of it is good and it looks nice too, but it has a few flaws. 'POP POP POP POP POP'We've had this for a few months now. It is a great little toy to an extent; used gently; our 1 year old loves it. Though once the kids start to pick up speed (2 yr old), and smash it into the walls; run at full speed, along with the popping beads - makes it impossible to make yourself think! If it were possible to stop the 'popping', this would be much better toy.I've wanted to pull the thing apart a hundred times; and had to hide it a few times as well.
We actually were given this by a neighbor who had stored it in their garage as their son was now a teenager. The love my grandson has for his mower! He spent an hour today mowing. Pictures don't do just to him whipping his imaginary scattered cord. Two times every time. That was the one part broken when we inherited it.
We bought this for our 3 year old who is abscesses with cutting grass. We were excited about the pull cord %26 the little gas can. I put it together %26 it was easy enough. Our little boy was so excited, but within 1 minutes he was upset %26 getting super frustrated because the handle fell off. We looked at it again after this kept happening. Every time you push it the handle just pops out. I don’t know if ours was defective or if it’s just a really poor design %26 they all do it. Now he’s upset because we had to return it.
This is the perfect toy for little ones that enjoy role play. My little girl has loved pretending to mow the grass like daddy. It had some really great features like the clicking key, adjustable ignition, pull cord, mini fuel canister, the sound it makes when you push it along and the way the balls jump inside about as little one pushes it along. My daughter literally played with it hours and was so proud after telling any one that would listen that she mowed the lawn! A super plus point for us was the fact it didn’t need any batteries which is so refreshing.
What a great toy to get the imagination going! Very realistic, my son absolutely loves it. He loves watching the beads pop whilst he pushes the mower. It’s a great size too and can be used indoor and outdoors. I love watching him play with it as much as he enjoys playing with it! :)
