My three year old absolutely loves this. It is the perfect size for the little ones. He has had absolutely no trouble leaving figuring out how this toy works. The balls are made of a nice durable plastic like the rest of the toy. It is light and very portable. Overall I love this and so does my son!

Sturdy and solid and does not have a zillion tiny pieces to keep track of. The large racket was more manageable for a three year old than, say, a baseball bat. There is a water option which makes it a versatile toy.

Would not recommend. I have gotten 2 of these and both have stopped working after using only a few times. The part that pushes the ball up into the air is what has stopped working on both.

We have t really ventured into the idea of sports with our youngest child yet as he’s special needs, he’s 3. However, after playing with this hit tennis toy he’s actually pretty excited and I’m realizing I shouldn’t put my own thoughts of limitation on him. He has gets some much fun and enjoyment from this! We haven’t hooked it up to the hose yet since it’s still cold here but we can’t wait for warmer weather to do so. The height of this and ease of the door pedal are perfect for toddlers. It was very easy to assemble.
My grandson got the biggest kick out of playing tennis with the Little Tikes Splash Hit Tennis. It took a few tries for him to get the hang of it but once he did, there were nothing but giggles and smiles. I like that there are two options of play. Your kiddo can use the pop up feature where they step on the pedal and it pops the ball up for them to swing at or you can attach a water hose and the water sprays up the ball. This is such a fun game and it gets kids outside!! Two thumbs up from this gramma!
My kids have had so much fun with this! It’s a great hand eye coordination builder, especially for little ones who need more confidence in t-ball. It was a little bit challenging at first, but once my kids got the hang of it they didn’t want to stop, and they have begged to play with it everyday since we got it. It is made very well and is quite durable, even with kids who like to play rough.
This is the cutest water play set Our family loves Little Tikes products and this is one more item we're happy to add to our collection. This toy has to be used with a water hose out the balls and racket can be played with separately. We used the water hose with it and it was super easy to attach and there was no mess involved. The water makes the ball shoot into the air and holds it in place so that your child can hit the ball with the racket. Your child has to step on the pedal to shoot the water out so its not continuously shooting into the air. This playset is fun and safe for most toddler and the older kids loved it as well.
What a great way to not only cool off in this florida heat while learning great eye to hand coordination. This toy was very easy to use to get it out the back hook up to a hose and watch the magic begins. It comes with a racket to hit the team bis ball with and very easy to set up and go . My kid is in baseball so this will help her get ready for those games as well . Very well made and hours of fun to last very recommended for families who.love the water and outdoors life
This is so easy to use and is so much fun! Hook it up to the water hose figure out how much pressure works best for you and then have at it. This was fun for our almost 3 year old because she loves water, our 14 year old who loves being able to have the ball levitate (when he usually throws the ball up to hit it he misses so this way its right where he needs it), and my hubby and I found it very entertaining as well. I think it's really awesome it can be used without water too so we can play with it indoors on rainy days all you have to do is press the peddle and it pops up (if you have the space to play inside probably best to play in an area that doesn't have anything fragile lol) you could play with it outside without the water too. This was fun while it lasted, but broke within an hour. The mechanism to switch between water and popping the balls up stopped functioning, and it will no longer pop up the balls. My son enjoyed it while it worked and had fun swinging at the balls, especially when they were suspended in the air by water.
