I purchased this to go over the splash about inner. I also use it over disposable swim nappies. It is a snug fit and I’m glad I read the reviews and ordered the larger size for my 5 month old. He’s tall, has chunky thighs but a slim waist and there are no gaps with the nappy. We’ve had no leaks, which makes it a success.

This is required by my daughter's swim school. Fits snugly and a really pretty print (Tutti fruiti). Thankfully it's containment ability hasn't been tested yet, but I'm confident it will perform when inevitably it eventually will be. If I have one complaint it is that it can be a bit of a job to get it on a wiggly baby, however this is also the aspect that prevents leaks!

Really love these swimming shorts/nappy - lovely design and does the trick of holding in anything that comes out whilst we're swimming! Also loved the eco-friendly sturdy paper packaging from the Nappy Lady - top marks.
We haven't had any poos to the put the nappy to the test, but it's great otherwise! It has also survived an accidental 60 degree wash (wouldn't recommend) and still works great. Only issue is that the sizing comes up small. My 22lb 5mo is in the XXL - not sure what we'll do when he grows out of it...
Really pleased with this purchase. I started taking my baby swimming at 5 weeks, and the pool will not let you in without a happy nappy. The colour is great, although i have noticed that when wet after our swim, the colour can leach onto other material items, so be warned! The nappy is comfy for my baby, and not too much of a wrestle to get on. I also have the splash about nappy liner, which i am equally pleased with, and enables us not to have to buy the disposable swim nappies.
I purchased this item because it was quite cheap, but I do not know if it will work quite well. My daughter used it for the first time a few days ago to go to the swimming pool, and this swim nappy was very hard to put on her (almost as hard as a sailing suit). The faeces (?) will mostly stay in it, but I am not sure about the urine : there is not any absorbing "fabric" in it.
Good quality. Cute design.Used on holiday in the pool, no leaks. I used the liners too. Will also use as recommended for water babies classes. 5 month old baby, ordered next size up 6-12m fits well.
My little one loves to swim and this is a great product to allow us to take to the water with confidence. It is difficult to get on, but well worth the effort and seems to be comfortable and secure. My only gripe is that there is no adjustment in these nappies, which is a necessity to prevent unwanted leakages but my son doesn't quite conform to the standard size. The result is a slight balloon effect around the midriff - thankfully he doesn't care about appearances just yet!
This is a game changer especially in current times where you need to get in and out of the pool as quickly as possible! Having the double system in one nappy makes life so much easier. It’s one thing to pull on and off. Same basic fit as the happy nappy alone. The only downside of this nappy is that if little one does poo it will be a messy clean up. Thankfully we haven’t had that yet!
