I've used this shampoo for a couple of weeks now and safe to say it's one of the worst shampoos I've used. I thought this was a really good shampoo. But I realized that it leaves a gross amount of buildup. At first, this seems like a decent shampoo. But hours after styling, the buildup is noticeable - literally can feel the product buildup when I touch my scalp, and by the next day, my hair is absolutely disgusting. I bought this shampoo because I love their dry shampoo and the reviews on this product were good. Right when I bought it both the shampoo and conditioner were hard to squeeze out, I can’t even imagine what it will be like when they get lower. This makes my hair feel very dry and stripped in the shower, causes my hair to tangle. I shower at nighttime and in the morning I woke up and one of the front pieces of my hair is already starting to get greasy. I have oily hair and don’t get dried out easily. I was disappointed because their dry shampoo is awesome and the shampoo smells great. I have used better drugstore and I just don’t think it is worth the price.

I've been a serial shampoo tester - nothing was ever that great to me so I'd always try something else as soon as I finished a bottle. Salon brands, drugstore, natural brands, shampoo bars, etc. I didn't have high hopes when an employee recommended this to me, but gave it a shot because I had nothing else in mind and boy am I glad I did. I love the smell, and it helps balance out my oily roots/dry ends hair. It doesn't lather a ton (the employee told me this as he was showing it to me) but I really don't mind. I've used it with a pixie cut, 18" hair, and every length in between and it's been great. My husband ran out of his 3-in-1 and used it out of necessity and raved about it as soon as his hair dried. so for my household, it's a hit!

So i saw some reviews that said this doesnt lather... theres no way. Literally 2 pumps covered my whole head and more. I always wash my hair with a cleansing shampoo first (if i use any products in my hair for styling) then use this and olaplex conditioner. My hair is softer than its ever been. I also use their hair oil after the shower as well since i have curly hair that loves to frizz almost immediately after drying. I swear to the good Lord almighty... im never switching shampoos again. This is perfect for my hair texture. Absolutely worth it. 100%.
I don't write reviews but truly this is a NIGHTMARE product. RUINED my hair to the point where it was falling out, i had so much buildup it was greasy within hours of washing it. There was so much buildup it as like I had dandruff throughout my entire head of hair. I have never in my life had a product single handedly ruin my hair (I also was using the pair conditioner). I ended up taking biotin, buying the Ouai Detox shampoo and the Ouai Scalp Serum and my hair is finally recovering.After research my thought is that the original formula was great. In looking at others reviews everyone who has this issue seems to have it with the new formula.STAY AWAY - i beg of you.

I used Living Proof Perfect Hair Day shampoo and it left my scalp burning. My hair was falling out in clumps leaving visible scalp areas. Got checked out by my doctor and everything including thyroid was normal. I thought it might have been stress, but the symptoms continued despite improving my stress levels and eating and sleeping well. I switched to Aveeno and my scalp no longer hurts. The hair loss has slowed down noticably. But I lost so much of it that my hair is ruined. It was my best feature and something I always took care of (never used dye, heat, or chemicals). I thought I was doing the right thing by using a shampoo that didn't contain sulfates. I hope to God my hair grows back.
