Excellent pans! Handle stays cool but pan makes the perfect crust!
Have used cast iron skillets my whole life. My mom has several that were passed down from her mom (she’s 83). These work just as well and are a little bit easier to handle because the weight is slightly less. Love these pans and plan on buying more in the near future. My only problem is storage! I’ve been storing them in the warming drawer and keeping them well oiled.
I bought this as a gift for my wife and she enjoys using them instead of the old pans she had from her mom
I have a lot of Lodge cookware so buying more was not a problem. Just like the size of these and I also cook on gas. For camping outthese can't be beat. I am older now and I don't go on social media websites so this will have to do.
I really wanted to love these pans. I ordered a 10” and am happy with it, but this set is defective. The first set I received had a very jagged edge. I returned those and the second set had a defective finish on both handles. I reached out to WS and never got a response. Very disappointed.
I received the 10.5” skillet as a reward for 10 years service in the Emergency Department of our hospital. I used the skillet in the same way I use my “American” brand cast iron skillets. When cooking bacon the meat stuck to the pan, then when I was cooking scrambled eggs in the bacon grease they stuck. After scraping the the pan with a plastic spatula (to protect the non-stick surface), I addled bacon grease again to cook my steak and the steak stuck to the pan. There are now stick points on my new pan. Lastly, in order to pick up the pan without burning my hands I was forced to use my welding/grilling gloves. The handle was very hot.This product is NOT non-stick and not the quality of my other cast iron skillets !
Great little pan but the handle gets too hot. Must use a mitt. Should redesign
