Allows for full functionality of certain Logitech products when compared with a Bluetooth connection. Frustrations for MacBook Pro owners like myself include --1. The dongle is USB-A but the Mac only has USB-C ports, necessitating the use of an adapter with the end result that the receiver, which is designed to reside very close to the edge of the computer, now protrudes two or three inches, getting in the way of other items.2. Most customers would expect an item like this to be included in the original package load the requirement that would be purchased separately for an extra $15 or so.

Works well, pairs easy and no issues using after an idle state. This allows me to access BIOS features and such too since it doesn't rely on an operating system's bluetooth drivers. I've had no issues while playing fps games nor MMOs. So its a pass for both work and gaming to me.After using logi mx keys mini on bluetooth for over a month before getting the bolt, I can say the bolt does seem more responsive in some situations. I know this isn't a keyboard review, just comparing with and without bolt.Only 4 stars due to packaging's lack of instructions. At least the bolt I received came in a cardboard fitted box for the Bolt, no instructions stating I needed software. I had to look at a review online to see how to use it properly. Logic aside, instructions on finding the software needed for pairing would still have been very useful.

Really- Did no one think of this?? My last two laptops ONLY had USBC. I had to go by a microsoft BT mouse that I use.But look guys-the computer world moves fast, and you are plainly a decade behind. Go to BLE- for lower DPI use, BTfor higher DPI, and then a dongle thats perhaps both a USB-A on one side and USB-C on the other. Or one of each in the box. Or even one or the other. You guys are making yourselves obsolete. Like those guys that made printers for parallel ports, or mice with PS2 ports.

I had to purchase the Logitech Bolt receiver to connect Logitechs MX Keys for Mac to my iMac. In a similar way, I had to use the Unifying receiver, Logitechs previous generation Bluetooth receiver, to connect my mouse. This is because my Mac, being old, doesnt support the flavour of Bluetooth that these peripherals do. However, the mouse came with a USB receiver in the box whereas the keyboard didnt. Several months later, because Logitech were constantly out of stock, I managed to get a Logi Bolt receiver from a third party. Problem now is that with this type of receiver, you have to download an app to connect it - and guess what? Yep, there isnt a version of the app for the operating system my iMac runs. Awesome! It solved my problem with my Lenovo laptop having connection problems. My Logitech MX mini wouldn't connect. Worked well at times but could not be trusted. With this Bolt USB dongle I have super low latency and reliable connection. This adapter is also included with the purchase of certain Logitech mice.
My M2 MacBook Air does not have a USB-A connection, requiring an unsightly adapter to be hanging off of my laptop. Please make a Logi Bolt USB receiver for USB-C. Also, the receiver works fine on my very old windows computer while connected to an external hub, but acts up when connected through a hub on my Mac. That forces me to use a precious USB connection for the receiver. The MacBook Air only has two USB-C Ports. Bluetooth on MacBook Air keeps losing connection with the mouse. So I have to use your USB receiver. The best scenario would be to be able to connect to an external hub and still work properly. Please fix that too.
Just like the other Adi`s review, me other Adi .... I have the same fricking issue. And when I want to buy the dongle ? Gues what, not available ?Also the same issue I have seen on the internet. Logitech Support, don`t you think you have a bug with Windows connection ?I have open a Service Request but they said if the Keyboard is working with other platforms then is not the keyboard. But I think it is not the case!Until then I will send back the keyboard, maybe when this will be solved maybe I will change my mind.
The product works, but wasn't necessary to purchase separately. The MX Keys Keyboard and MX Master 3s Mouse each came with one of these despite my having read reviews saying that they didn't. Both products connected via Bluetooth to my Mac with full functionality and no need to install one of these. I now have three of these that I don't need. May come in handy if I lose one I guess, but the native Bluetooth operation is excellent and saves a USB port.
I have purchased MX Master 3S for Mac, MX Keys mini for Mac and Logi Bolt. Logi Bolt doesn’t work 3 meters away from the MacBook Pro 14 connected to the TV screen. As soon as you get closer to the Logi Bolt it does work, but if you get a little further away, it loses connection up to a point of not working. Tried to update the mouse and keyboard, no success there either. Honestly, a waste of money. Absolutely, not recommend!
i have the MX Craft and the MX master 3 mouse paired together on the unifying receiver... the receiver alwas (Always) stutters and lags (not fixing the typo because thats also caused by keyboard lag!!!!!!). so i thought to "UPGRADE" to bolt.... surprise surprise.. by some logical magic its not compatible with their current LATEST models of expensive flagship keyboards and mouse... what is this? i cant return this suff now cuz its been too long already and the process is so annoying too.keyboard is making squeaky noises and mouse stutters and ghost skip ALL THE TIME now ( i literally got the receiver with NOTHING between it and the devices and its literally lest than 12 inches away and still nothing works.but that was the icing on the cake, that i bought the ... Morei have the MX Craft and the MX master 3 mouse paired together on the unifying receiver... the receiver alwas (Always) stutters and lags (not fixing the typo because thats also caused by keyboard lag!!!!!!). so i thought to "UPGRADE" to bolt.... surprise surprise.. by some logical magic its not compatible with their current LATEST models of expensive flagship keyboards and mouse... what is this? i cant return this suff now cuz its been too long already and the process is so annoying too.keyboard is making squeaky noises and mouse stutters and ghost skip ALL THE TIME now ( i literally got the receiver with NOTHING between it and the devices and its literally lest than 12 inches away and still nothing works.but that was the icing on the cake, that i bought the receiver (bolt) hoping it fixes the problem.. 15$ down the drain and i only bought me some frustration, a headache and annoyance.thank you for great product.. that sadly is inconsistent.
