The free mini tripod in the box is great! Ease of use is great! Plug and play ease, the white light bars on the face make it easy to tell when in use. Stereo microphones are great and loud. The only downside is a harsh washed out look in low light, made me look pale compared to a 720p cheaper logitech can I own. Also focus and light flicker (dim then bright) ib low lighting. I need to try a third party program for settings other than Win 11 settings, and with good lighting (like daytime window light) the flicker and focus issues diminish. Get a ring light to resolve at night.

Previously I used the built in camera with the laptop. However, when I added 2 large monitors the laptop camera became inconvenient. Since I mainly work from home and constantly on video meetings it was essential to have quality video which works without additional lighting rendering natural color and exposure. Set up was simple. This model works reliably even when hooking up through docking station. Everything was detected automatically with no need to download anything. I like the light feature letting you know when camera is active eliminating the need for a lens cover. It reliably fits on the monitor with no need of the accompanying stand. However, the micro stand is interesting adding greater flexibility. No one has noticed I changed webcam which is not bad ... MorePreviously I used the built in camera with the laptop. Some webcams create a fishbowl appearance which is not the case here. This was a smart purchase with no regrets.

It was easy to install. Trusted Brand. Excellent Quality. Good Purchase.*Pros: Excellent quality. Easy to set up. Easy to use. Tripod brings freedom of changing or moving camera easily. Better viedo quality than many other brands.*Cons: Software is not easy to use. No privacy cover. Tripod is short. Microphone is not strong enough if the camera is in arm distance. It does not have a USB Type C connection. It would be great to have 365° rotation opyion.Overall it is a good purchase for its value and I recommend it.

Before I get started I should say that I've gotten spoiled by years of using a Sony FDR-AX100, so I'm used to 100MBPS 4K video from a camera with all the modern conveniences.I bought the C922 for use as a webcam so of course I scaled my expectations accordingly--and the C922 still delivered better than what I was expecting. The biggest concern I had was whether this camera would actually do 1080p with OBS, whether the audio would sound any good, and whether the video would look any good. Short version: three for three.I will say--if you're doing OBS, it will NOT work at optimum settings right out of the box. You do have to do a little setup and configuration work in OBS itself once the camera's connected, but after that you're pretty much good to go. It IS easy to work with, the quality IS good, and as long as you have a decent amount of light, you won't suffer from horrendous motion smear.Definitely recommend buying one of these. I'll gripe about the price because that's a thing I do, but the reality is considering the quality of the camera it's not a bad deal.
I'd like to start this review by saying, it seems to work and be functional for a few friends, but since it's me, it just doesn't work for whatever reason.A close friend of mine is a professional YouTuber/Twitch Streamer and she uses this webcam and this is what she recommended for me to try. I talked to another friend who also has used this for her Zoom teaching classes. So, I guess they just have better luck than me.But for whatever reason, I cannot get this to function at all. It's a dice roll if it feels like working or not. When I first got it, it would show video, then completely deactivate my headset and mute all audio period. It would not mix with my HyperXCloud II. I had to open up a help ticket, it never truly got resolved, I just got by with barely ... MoreI'd like to start this review by saying, it seems to work and be functional for a few friends, but since it's me, it just doesn't work for whatever reason.A close friend of mine is a professional YouTuber/Twitch Streamer and she uses this webcam and this is what she recommended for me to try. It's pathetic that I have devote 30 minutes to an hour trying to gamble to get this thing to work. Now I cannot get any audio or video at all. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the webcam, OBS, and it's still not functional.
I've never had a webcam, but needed one for google meet because my laptop was getting too slow and I wanted to switch to my desktop system. The Logitech C922 was super easy to set up to use with my HP desktop. I admit that the cute little tripod influenced my decision to get this particular one. I tend to buy middle of the road items, and I'm happy with this purchase. The camera seems good (no complaints on the other end) and sound is OK, though I still prefer my microsoft lifechat for that since I'm hard of hearing and using headphones helps. I'm happy with the fact that the little part that fits on top of my monitor doesn't obscure part of my screen. I have an ASUS TUF 27" and was concerned about that, but it fits well and is unobtrusive enough that I can leave it ... MoreI've never had a webcam, but needed one for google meet because my laptop was getting too slow and I wanted to switch to my desktop system. I have an ASUS TUF 27" and was concerned about that, but it fits well and is unobtrusive enough that I can leave it up there all the time. I just easily plug and unplug the USB cord as needed, since I don't use the camera very often. I found the built in software for changing backgrounds too difficult to fool with. It was hard to revert back when I didn't like the new settings, so I decided it wasn't worth using. The only other thing I don't like is that you can't adjust the camera horizontally, only vertically. I have to move the entire monitor if I want to adjust it side to side. Overall a nice little webcam.
I use this webcam for business use, and it has worked great. The picture quality is fantastic. I opted to use an external mic, but the one built-in is perfectly usable. It sounds about how you would expect any web cam mic to sound. It was really easy to set up and use. You can really just plug it in and go. But if you want to downlaod the logitech software, you can do that to get a little more control over it. But to be honest, I just plugged it in and never worried about downloading any extra software. I just use the built in options in things like Teams or Slack to change any settings I need. It does come with a tripod, which I opted not to use. I just don't see much use for it. For most people, I would assume just placing it on top of your monitor will work better than anywhere you can find to put the tripod. Not to mention the head on the tripod is really finnicky. It doesn't really tighten all the way. It's nice to have the option, but I'm willing to bet most people will try it out once and just end up putting it on their monitor like me. Overall, this is a really solid choice for webcam.
Look, I'm probably being a bit demanding here but the C922 didn't live up to my expectations. It is easy to install and has a passable image and audio. However I have two main problems with it. First, you can move the head up and down, but not side to side. Second, it is difficult to control, specifically ensuring it is focussing correctly and in the exposure. You use G-Hub to do that but the settings seem to be forgotten when you go outside it, such as when you use it with OBS. It's ok and worth getting if you need something basic but not if you intend to make videos etc.
Solid video quality once you figure out which software you want to use. I do not recommend G-hub, it doesn’t have nearly the functionality of Creator. However, creator settings do not seem to stay enabled with other third party stream software. Overall it’s a good camera for basic calls and streams, but definitely not pro level. Has very wide swings in lighting compensation from even the slightest change in light, but balances out quickly, it’s just extremely abrupt and overkill. Mic quality is fine for occasional use in a pinch but I wouldn’t recommend it if you plan to use this professional for work or any income building video. There is no horizontal adjustment in the cleat. If you use the included tripod, that solves that problem for you!I have purchased two of these for beginner level streaming and so far satisfied with it. I would recommend to anyone looking for casual or entry level use. I can not in god faith recommend this to a pro.
While its auto-focusing and image quality aren't the best out there, the 1080p resolution proved to be a decent balance between clarity and not putting too much strain on the internet capacity. The compact design makes it really easy to stow away everyday and quickly prop up when needed.A downside to its form factor though is the inability to horizontally tilt the camera, which in my case often means I need to swivel my entire monitor to get the desired horizontal angle. A detachable cable would also have been nice: that way I can keep the usb end plugged-in at all times and only set up the camera part when needed, instead of digging into the back of my PC to unplug the usb everytime I want to put the camera away (I could of course just leave it there, but ... MoreWhile its auto-focusing and image quality aren't the best out there, the 1080p resolution proved to be a decent balance between clarity and not putting too much strain on the internet capacity. The compact design makes it really easy to stow away everyday and quickly prop up when needed.A downside to its form factor though is the inability to horizontally tilt the camera, which in my case often means I need to swivel my entire monitor to get the desired horizontal angle. It's pure placebo/OCD but I'm sure this applies to many others out there). The cable is a bit of a chore in my use case. From my admittedly non-expert experience, the logitech in-house software (called LogiCapture or something like that) is pretty simple to navigate and has useful functions, HOWEVER the software becomes recognised by the PC as sort of a virtual camera as its own entity and can easily make your browser/meeting software confused and unable to access actual footage. So it takes some effort to understand the technical arrangements arround that IF you choose to use the software which, as mentioned, has some useful extra features like exposure or image size adjustment.Overall though, it's quite handy for its price, especially for someone like me who has occasions that absolutely requires a webcam yet do not need it everyday hence justifying a higher price investment.
