Got this a couple weeks ago for the 6th Gen iPad Pro and am happy with it so far: The case fits on well and connects automatically. The back flap holds its weight well and can prop up the screen at a good range of angles. All side buttons work fine, leaves space for the Apple Pencil, charger, and speakers with no problems. Protects it well and doesn’t make it feel bulky. The keyboard attaches and detaches easily - easier to just take it off than flip around when not in use. Keys are backlit so you can see easily in low lighting. The keyboard also includes Apple shortcuts (search function, auto lock, home button, etc) that are pretty helpful. The mouse tracking is a tiny bit slow, but nothing actively laggy. The mouse pad doesn’t take that softer tap to click on ... MoreGot this a couple weeks ago for the 6th Gen iPad Pro and am happy with it so far: The case fits on well and connects automatically. Otherwise it’s well attuned to any hand movement. I got this as a cheaper alternative to Apple’s reccomended products, and don’t regret it at all - it works well and its a great deal for what it does, protection and typing ability in one.

Absolutely great

First things first for all those who don’t have the current 2021 - 12.9 iPad, this product fits perfectly and worked without any complaint or problems using my 12.9 iPad Pro from 2020. The only difference that I would say is that the case gives room for the additional camera lenses which you have on the new iPad Pro 2021 model with the M1 chip. The key features which stand out that I loved about this product is that it has a detachable keyboard which links to the case. It is important that they are not all one piece! The key features which stand out that I loved about this product is that it has a detachable keyboard which links to the case. It is important that they are not all one piece! This to me is beneficial as you don’t always use your iPad with a keyboard so when you don’t need it the iPad still can be safe in a case (if it were to fall as it has coverage over the screen.) The keyboard magnetically attaches to the case/iPad 3 pin connector in less than a second and is real simple to do and feels secure. It doesn’t use a battery but runs in the power of the iPad and I have not noticed massive power consumption when I use it. The full QWERTY keyboard has a really great shortcut row at the top which I use for locking the iPad, playing, skipping tracks etc of music and also key feature is the double clicking the screen icon opens up your background apps that are running. For me the best part of this product is the trackpad! It works exactly like my MacBook Pro including all the gestures and there is no delay or lag when you make a command. You press and it works, you move your finger across the trackpad and it moves the cursor instantly, it is also great for when you are working multiple screens. 1 finger moves mouse, 2 fingers moves the screen, 3 fingers opens up apps. The keyboard doesn’t feel or look like its made from cheap plastic and is smooth to the touch and the grey fabric on the case and keyboard makes your iPad look smart and professional looking. It also (I found by mistake!) a little water resistant by shaking of spills straight away! I guess if I had to give negative critique about it which I have found really hard to find, it would be the backlight wasn’t super bright when turned all the way up but don’t get me wrong you are able to see it well in dark light conditions or no light conditions. I just felt it could be just a little brighter but that’s being really fussy on a really well ergonomically designed product. The case doesn’t protect your iPad pencil and there is no small light to let you know that caps lock is on… again really small thing that I came across. One thing I have found with other iPad Pro cases is that it really reduces your iPad Pro sound quality. With this product I felt the sound was super clear and was not restricted by the case at all which was really good as the case and keyboard is designed with sufficient holes to make sure the sound escapes and is not muffled. Would and have already recommended to a friend.

My last Logitech iPad keyboard from John Lewis lasted 7 years. This one 7 months. It's poorly designed. The rubber casing is thin where it splits around the sound outlets. This stretched within 2 weeks. After 7 months, the casing started to come off around the weak points & one's snapped. I called customer services. My 2 year guarantee only lasts for a year. After that replacements or repairs cannot be given. Why call it a 2 year guarantee? I cannot get to a shop as I'm disabled, having cancer treatment and too ill to have covid jabs. There is no alternative. I can't ask friends to go to a JL shop an hour away to exchange the case. I feel badly let down by JL. Surely a photo would be good enough to show that the Logitech keyboard casing is broken?

Detachable Protective Case? Say less.
1 March 2023

The perfect transformative product to turn an IPad into the best all-round study tool. The detachable case and keyboard is the biggest selling point, able to provide protection to your iPad when you're reading and on the go (or when you pass your device to a child to play games). The keyboard is efficient and tactile but after long use it may become unresponsive. However this is a quick fix! Detaching the keyboard and case, then reattaching it works wonders and is immediate. The touchpad is also wonderful and so satisfying to use on a daily basis. Definitely recommend this product to university students who have plenty readings, notes, drawings, the whole package really! I've seen many people use this same set up with an iPad for all their university classes!

Faulty. Guarantee False

DO NOT BUY THIS CASE. I bought a previous version that lasted 7 years and only began to show wear during the final year. This one started to disintegrate within 4 months. The narrow strips of flexible plastic around the speakers stretched & split. It's a design fault. It's just got worse, to the point that it's hard to use the volume controls & the on/off button also. I contacted JL. Turns out the 2 year refund / replacement guarantee is only in place for 1 year & you have to come into a store for the staff to see what's happened. Cancer - can't travel at the moment. Tried again a month later as it occurred to me a photo would do. This was agreed by the technical team. I was asked if the damage was wear & tear - no, as the case surround has split, not become worn. ... MoreDO NOT BUY THIS CASE. I was asked if the damage was wear & tear - no, as the case surround has split, not become worn. The claim was then rejected as the case must have been damaged by force - no, the case has been used as a case. At no time has it been hammered, dropped from a great height or attacked by external forces. This case has cost me nearly £200, yet it's only lasted 4 months intact. As the iPad was the same price at PC world and other stores, I bought my new iPad from JL simply because of the free 2 year guarantee, that also covered accessories. It seemed too good to be true - and it is. Seems like the guarantee is for 1 year at best and even then is not worth the positive PR it attracts as the case can disintegrate and that's still considered by JL to be perfectly acceptable.

Holy grail iPad case

I’ve been using my combo touch case since July last year and have loved every use. The case boasts a sleek design that makes it stylish and professional looking. It’s easy to clean and hides any marks/signs of wear and tear incredibly well. When transferring from using the keypad to using the iPad screen itself, you simply flip the keypad over to the back. This was a great enhancement on the previous model in which you would have to detach the screen from the keyboard. The keyboard itself is easy to use and helps me at University when hand writing notes is not convenient. I like the in-built stand as it means I don’t have to look from above the iPad screen which prevents neck pain. It also comes with a magnetic flap that protectively secures the front of the case ... MoreI’ve been using my combo touch case since July last year and have loved every use. This Combo protects the iPad Air within very well. It is easy to remove the keyboard thanks to the magnetic hinge which also connects the keyboard electronically to the iPad. The landscape stand integrated into the cover part is easy to open and close and is adjustable. The Combo has it's own battery which is charged when the iPad is charging. I LOVE having a keyboard for the iPad Air! You can do just about everything on the keyboard and touch pad that you can do on the screen with the major advantage that the screen stays clean. I was able to resolve the problem by powering the iPad Air completely off and then back on without removing the Combo and the problem has not re-occurred. 3. You can't swing the keyboard 360 degrees to the back of the iPad. Don't try it because the keyboard will just come off in your hand.

Must buy!

I got my iPad Air 4 recently and was looking for a protective case and keyboard to go with it. I spent hours upon hours watching videos on whether to buy the logitech combo or the Apple magic keyboard. I decided on the combo touch and I am so glad I did. This is a quality product, the build, the protection, the keys, the trackpad the whole thing screams quality. Super easy to use, the function keys that come on the combo touch and not on the magic keyboard are a real game changer and helps you navigate through apps and web pages so much faster, the volume buttons and brightness buttons leave you never needing to even touch the screen. The fact you can disconnect the keyboard so easily makes it ideal if you also use your iPad in bed to watch content etc like I do. ... MoreI got my iPad Air 4 recently and was looking for a protective case and keyboard to go with it. All around I’m chuffed with this, its not cheap but its worth every cent and still $150 cheaper than the magic keyboard. If you are looking for a case that provides full protection, a keyboard that you can remove when you want and still be protected, plus a great typing experience then go and buy this. Thanks JB Bondi my click and collect order was ready within 20 minutes on Easter - great service as usual.

The product Apple wanted to make but didn't

I think most people who know someone who owns this wonderful product will buy it anyway no matter what anyone else says and that says it all! The Combo Touch does it all! It lets you write with a keyboard which is much more thoughtful. The keyboard has backlighting which means you can work even when it's dark. It has more option keys which means that brightness, sound volume and unlock/lockscreen can be controlled with a small gesture compared to actually move your hand and adjust it on the screen or the case buttons themself. These features alone save time while working and make life much easier! It protects! The protection and stand up feature of the casing help to prevent damage and lets the user use the iPad without having to worry of damage. The case is specially cut so that it lets you attach the Apple Pen 2 onto the side where it can recharge and is always ready to be used. Then there is the standup feature which lets you use the iPad with keyboard or without. Do I sound like fanboy, yes I do! The Combo Touch returns the iPad into a dynamic tool. It changes from static Apple Magic Keyboard only office work to: " I can use it for whatever I want to " and this is all thanks to the Combo Touch. from Logitech

Works with 3rd Generation iPad
28 January 2023

This folio was designed for the 5th generation iPad 12.9 inch. I have a 3rd generation and thought I would take a chance. It fits! I am typing this review using this product on a 3rd generation iPad 12.9 inch. There is 0.5mm difference in the depth of the iPad from the 3rd to 5th generation but it does not affect the fit of the case in any way. I have full functionality of the keyboard and trackpad. So if you have a 3rd generation iPad and wondering whether this case will fit, yes it will. In my opinion the Logitech Combo Touch Keyboard Case is better than the Apple Magic Keyboard which costs more and doesn’t have a detachable keyboard.
