The material has almost no give and since it surrounds the entire ipad this year it makes for a bad time trying to get it on.This however lets you know that yes, the case is one of the most robust cases ive ever felt as always. From previous years this has been updated to no longer have a cutout for the apple pencil but has a storage loop built in to the case.This then provides full screen protection instead of having that bare if you drop it by accident.The keyboard feels like your typing on a laptop for better or worse this is what you expect when you buy one of these however it works well. Function keys are amazing to work with and you can even screen shot without presses just one key and boom. Of course there is no batteries so the backlit keyboard works off your ipad battery which does increase use but not so much that you genuinely notice and i never felt like it was a problem.The touchpad is like all the windows style laptops where it uses a diving board style mechanical press so once you get about halfway up the pad you cannot press it anymore. This can be resolved in your ipad settings by turning on tap to click so its not a big deal but know it feels this way.All things considered this is once again the most robust feeling cases and keyboard touch pads out there even more so than apples own product and logitech has been doing this thing great for YEARS now. Even with the small annoyances i pointed out im sure if i wasn't so used to the older ones i wouldn't really have an issue here. Highly recommend checking this option out before any other ones.

As a high school student I love the trackpad and how you can takeoff the keyboard when Iām going around walking in my class that was some thing I didnāt like about my old keyboard. Also, the backlit keys are very nice and thereās no Bluetooth connection at all. It just pairs instantly to the iPad by connecting magnetically. The only complaint I have is itās hard to take the iPad out of the case which I needed to do because the charging circle around the USB charger is a little too small for a Nintendo switch charger. Since I forgot my iPad charger. For me I think itās worth the extra $50 compared to the folio one. But the best part, the feature that I loved the most about this keyboard/case/stand, is that the keyboard can be detached from the iPad quickly and effortlessly, so that you can use the iPad with just the case on it, which I do often. It's great to be able to utilize the iPad by itself for more casual use, and also to have the option to use the kickstand especially if I want to stream media, without having the keyboard sticking out in front of the iPad and taking up room.Which brings me to another great feature--the fact that the keyboard attaches and connects to the iPad via the iPad's smart connector, so no fussing around with a Bluetooth connection--it just automatically connects instantly. And no messing around with batteries or having to recharge the keyboard's batteries because it doesn't have any. It takes power straight from the iPad, but no worries because it does not drain the iPad's batteries significantly at all.The only very very slight thing that bugs me somewhat is that there is an attached rubbery-type loop at the top of the case (looking at it in landscape mode)/right side of the case (looking at it in portrait mode) for storage of a stylus such as an Apple Pencil or Logitech's own Crayon. While I appreciate this gesture I don't use a stylus with this iPad and so wish there was a way to cleanly remove it, yet short of busting out a pair of scissors and snipping it off, (which I am not inclined to do) it's permanently attached. Not a big thing, but it annoys me to have it there. Lastly, I need to address the cutouts. There's one for the power button/fingerprint sensor that's not too big but just right, same goes for the camera and speakers, but the one for the charging port may be a bit problematic depending on what charging cable you are using. If you're like me, you may have several USB-C charging cables around the house or office, some of which are official Apple ones and ones which are third party. I have found that a couple of my third party ones cannot fit into this cutout, which was a disappointment.Overall, I would highly recommend this combo case because it is so versatile and functional, not to mention sleek and stylish.

It is very sturdy and add little weight to the iPad but protects greatly from drop protection. Look and feel is great and does not feel cheap. For the price range, this is a good buy compared to the magic keyboard that apple has to offer.Keyboard also offers full row of iPadOS shortcut keys, cmd, control, option keys like MacBook keyboard. Keys are spaced well and has tactile feedback with no lack. Top row has a dedicated volume up, down, mute, keyboard, brightness increase/decrease, media controls, home button which comes very handy for easy navigation.Upon installing for the first time, it prompted to install logitechcontrol app from Appstore and no further pairing was required.Pros: Spacious high precision trackpad, detachable backlit keyboard, loop for holding apple pencil, full row of iPadOS shortcut keys, any angle kickstand, durable full protection from fall.Cons: Unlike previous generation this model does not allow the keyboard to attach to the backside of case when not using the keyboard, adds weight to iPad.Overall, a well-made, versatile, secure fit protection with excellent full keyboard and trackpad option that converts iPad to mini laptop.
