I had a wired keyboard previously but it was very noisy right from the start and took up a lot of room on my desk. A friend had the earlier version of the Logitech Ergo keyboard and was happy with it so I decided to upgrade. My computer is pretty old so the wireless connection didn't work, but the plug-in USB did.The keyboard took a little time to get used to due to it being slightly smaller than my old Microsoft one, and for a week or so I often hit the wrong keys. As expected, my fingers learned the new positions pretty quickly and now I find it really good and very comfortable - the only key I still hit in error is the print screen one, because it's just above the backspace key! Best Keyboard for productivity AND GAMING

Love this thing. Got rid of my shoulder and neck pain. I was worried about adjusting to this type of keyboard, but it only took about a week. Was worried that it wouldn't be "Fast" enough for gaming there would be lag. NOPE! Did I mention Super comfortable? It also is amazing at being a multi device board. It is seamless from my gaming rig (which uses the wifi dongle) to my work laptop, (use bluetooth for that), and my personal laptop (use bluetooth for that too).Value: one of the higher prices for this style of the keyboard but worth every penny in design, contstruction, and ease of use. Tested Logitech K860 and Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard and hands down would prefer and recommend Logitech K860. I have only been using Logitech K860 one day and I am already used to it. This is a great keyboard. It is extremely comfortable to use and is a must have for anyone who spends a lot of time typing, or anyone (like me) with carpal tunnel syndrome. It makes a big difference. It is a split keyboard, but not an extreme one, so it is very fast and easy to adapt to its layout if an ergonomic keyboard is new to you. The keys are membrane style, so they are quiet with not much travel, but still feel nice to type on. Great layout and a nice selection of extras - media controls, functon keys.There are only 3 flaws with this keyboard. This looks cheap. Also, the wrist rest should be removeable.If Logitech would address these 3 issues, this keyboard would definitely be a 5-star product and would justify the price. Alternatively, if Logitech is not going to change these 3 things, then they would have to lower the price ($60 would be an appropriate price point) to get that 5th star. Smply put, the lack of backlighting, the lack of rechargeable batteries, and the cheap finish on the wrist rest make this keyboard overpriced.

Honest, It's Incredible

The Ergo series from Logitech is incredible. Yes it takes a week or two to get used to it, but after a year of using it, I'm just as fast at typing as any other keyboard.I used to get terrible, achy wrist pains at my desk. After just a couple days of using this set, the pain went away. This is seriously great for relieving and mitigating wrist and join pain.They've got robust connection options with 3 device pairing. Keyboard batteries are replaceable, I use rechargeable AAs and I haven't had to charge them yet! Mouse has a rechargeable battery, and I just had to charge it after 1 year of use. I use these daily for my 8-5,These are incredible and reliable, I think every office should use these.

No programmable keys and too expensive.

For years I loved using the wired Microsoft Ergonomic 4000 keyboard with the Star Programmable keys that allowed me to call up favorite documents and websites without other keystrokes to find them in File Explorer or a web browser. But my 4000 died a few days ago, and I was sad to see it is no longer made by Microsoft. It has been replaced by several other models, but with without the Star Programmable keys. So I went to Best Buy and tried out five or six keyboards. The closest replacement for my 4000 appeared to be the wired Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard priced at $45. But I wanted the best keyboard I could buy, and the Logitech ERGO K860 was $130, so I figured if it cost three times as much, it must be a MUCH better keyboard. So I bought the K860. I hooked it up at home and tried to figure out how to program the keys. There were no instructions in the package. I went online to the manufacturer's website to download instructions, which said the function of the F keys could be changed to other choices, but did not say they were programmable. It just had a list of other commands you could change the key to perform. So for example, the F1 key, which normally brings up Word Help, could be changed to one of several other specified operations, such as printing a document, or displaying your email or calculator, etc, but there was no option to call up a specific document or perform a macro like you could do on the 4000. I called the ERGO help line to find out how to program the keys, and they said, "Sorry, you can switch the function of the F keys to the alternate listed choices, but you can't program to do something else." So I returned the ERGO to Best Buy, and got a polite refund with no questions asked. I bought the $45 Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard, which also said on the back of the package that it had programmable keys. I was please to see that indeed it in addition to the F keys, it has three more unassigned keys that are fully programmable, just like the keys on the 4000 were (although the 4000 had five of those). And this keyboard is just as comfortable to use as the ERGO at 1/3 the price! The only advantage I can see with the K860 is that it is wireless, but I prefer wired because there are no batteries to fail and a wired connection is always better than wireless. By the way, the new $45 Microsoft Ergonomic keyboard is more comfortable with better key feel than my old 4000, so I am delighted with the new Microsoft keyboard. But if you want a wireless keyboard, don't need to program your keys, and don't mind paying $130 bucks for a keyboard no better than a $45 keyboard, go for it!

Took the plunge and it's a game changer. Setup was quick and painless, and using either Bluetooth or the Unifying receiver is about as transparent as it can get. The multi-purpose function keys are easy to switch between modes, and the oversized Print Screen key is a godsend in this age of screenshots. The Earth's surface is 70% water, and was pleasantly surprised to find that more than 70% of the plastic used in the product is recycled. BIG PLUS. In recent years, I bought mechanical keyboards because I liked the old-fashioned feel, but this exacerbated my old injuries and required me to get another ergonomic keyboard. This took a little getting used to, but is just as comfortable, easy on the joints, and fast to type on as the old Microsoft Natural line of keyboards (that's a very high compliment from me). If you already have a Logitech Unifying receiver, you can download the Unifying software from Logitech and connect this keyboard to the Unifying dongle that you already have. If you can use that instead of USB, you'll find a better connection. Some of the keys are programmable, but I only programmed the "lock" key in the upper-right because it seems inconvenient to have a key that might accidentally lock my computer and make me log back in. I don't know what material the palm rest is made of, but it's incredibly comfortable. The wrist rest also cannot be removed, so do keep that in mind. Like some Logitech mice (such as the Logitech MX Master 3), this can be paired to up to 3 devices, which is great as you can use your keyboard and mouse as a makeshift KVM switch and control multiple devices. The keyboard uses AAA batteries, and according to Logitech should last you about two years before you have to worry about replacing the batteries. While making the keyboard rechargeable like the G915 might have been nice, in a way, the AAA batteries are more convenient in my opinion as you don't have to worry about protecting the lifespan of the battery. This keyboard has not yet been added to Logi Options +, so you will have to install Logitech Options to gain full control over the keyboard's features. Does not work with G-Hub at all. The keyboard is admittedly a bit pricey, but worth every penny in my opinion.
