Usual Logitech standard. Fairly good, lots of plastic. But considor the alternatives, to get the functionality, one woulf have to spend many more dollars. How did it perform? Excellently, on BOTH flight Sims. Was it easy to install and get running? NO. The box comes with everything one needs except software and instructions.Fortunately, I can read, off to the Logitech site. After a full day I found the needed software, this is some test apps, that check all the switches and LEDS.There is also a plugin that is useable with both Sims. XPlane is dead simple, find the plugins folder and drop it in. FSX a little harder. Once installed, FANTASTIC, I now have a Switchpanel, and the Radio panel. The same plugin works both.Is it value for money? A resounding YES, surely ... MoreUsual Logitech standard. Fairly good, lots of plastic. This button box/panel is comparable to the private built one for the truck simulators but up to $200 cheaper! Even if all the other components are not wanted, or you have no room for them, still get this one. The switches that it replaces are almost always hidden under the yoke in the aircraft and with this box, you can reach them easily and with realism. The USB cable is very long and there's plenty of holes for attaching to your desk. The next panel for me will be the Autopilot/trim/flaps and that will mount on top of this panelwith ease(brass threaded nuts are encased in the plastic) --- Note: The drivers to use this panel and test it are on the Logitech website but if you use Windows 10, the options for download are down the list and therefore hidden - (a silly ... MoreThis button box/panel is comparable to the private built one for the truck simulators but up to $200 cheaper! This is a nice piece of kit but you do have to go to a lot of trouble to make them work with non-std, Laminar aircraft. And some of these aircraft get really screwed up by the present of the add-on. There should really be an easy way to set up the add-on via the x-plane joy-stick set-up pages like the CH products. Saitek requires you download xsaitek from x-plane org and edit an ini file for each aircraft. And it is sometimes quite difficult to find the right dataref in x-plane. That's not a pb with Saitek per se but still part of the issue

This is a perfect unit to use with AREOFLY FS 2 and X plane 11 , however for DCS world ,combat air patrol 2 and a few others you will require a third party program to run which will cost you as Logitech dose not have a program for mapping , However having said that the unit itself is of a sturdy quality and comes with a mounting bracket and screws neatly packaged , and given that there is not really a lot of other options out there for switch units at around the same price its a good deal for an enthusiast , and the switches are large enough if using VR and not so big as to ruin the aesthetics of your cockpit . I will say however if you are not a regular flight sim player it is not needed to enjoy afore mentioned games if you are it will save you so much time not needing to memorizing a bunch of keys not to mention it looks cool mounted to the rest of my cockpit and is a heap of fun to use.So for the price and if you think you need it then I recommend this product just figure out if you really want it before you purchase. Note . this is a special order product and may take a little longer to be delivered .
Pros: Handy little panel, great that it’s modular and connects to existing Logitech/Saitek hardware. As a 738 pilot I like the buttons and switches to feel real and clunk like their counterparts and these do just that.Cons: Landing gear lever is incredibly small. It’s a shame because it is a great little addition to the product line but I believe this could have been a separate product. There are 4 holes at the bottom of the panel to secure it to the yoke or other hardware which doesn’t give it the strongest stability but it’s better than the Velcro option they give you to secure it to a desk.
The switch panel and Multi Panels are great for Flight Sims, I like not having to use the mouse around the cockpit to switch things on or off. The Autopilot on the Multipanel is really good, you can go and have a meal and the aircraft flys on your set course. I recomend both these units. And
I have bought all three panels, Switch, Radio, Multi Panel.Switch panel is practically plug and play, just install latest driver from Logitech.Works perfectly with MSFS 2020. I use it with Cessna 152, 172, TBM 930.Not all functions are set, but most of them are working. If you want to further customize it, and create a fully working profile for each plane, you need to use SPAD NX. As far as I have tried, is working as well with the big liners. For my needs the three panels are really enjoyable and I got myself into a more interesting fly time.In my opinion the panel is worth as it is. If you have a little of patience and some curiosity, full customization is just a further enjoyment.
Mounting is a huge part of figuring out where you want to put it make sure it’s firmly mounted with a screw or clamp the landing gear is stiff the button’s are very firm and the build quality is industrial, cons= it is not a plug and play controller, it is specific to different types of models of flight sims with custom developer drivers on logis website, but use DCS bios flight panels and it turns it into a usb joystick. That is fully programmable for any game and DCS either in keybind mode or in DCS bios mode where it essentially is fully programmable in dcs flight simulator.
I don't like the fact that is using a proprietary software to control the controller. Is you are using the Steam under Linux is very-very hard to make it work. I'm still trying to enable it under the MSFS installation under Linux.
I don't play flight sims but I hooked up my own driver to control various home automation stuff. The switches are very clicky and tactile, the build feels nice, comes with some good options for mounting/adhesion.
