Logitech G440 Hard Gaming Mouse Pad Accessory

G440 Hard Gaming Mouse Pad Unleash the full potential of Logitech gaming mice with a mouse pad purpose-built for gaming. It's the ideal surface friction for high DPI gaming and more precision with every move you make. Low Surface Friction The polyethylene surface is ideal for high DPI gaming, allowing subtle hand movements, quick mouse gestures using minimal force, and fewer mistakes from overcompensation when starting or stopping. Edge-to-edge Performance Heavy patterns and designs can interfere with sensor performance. Our clean, consistent surface texture gives sensors better imagery for translating mouse movement into cursor movement. Matched To Logitech G Sensors Better together, G440 and Logitech G mice enhance sensor accuracy with a surface texture comparable to the optimal testing environment for Logitech G mice. Stable Rubber Base The only thing sliding on G440 is your mouse. A natural rubber base is firmly bonded to the high-impact polystyrene core, keeping the rigid surface right on the desk where you put it. Multi-layer Construction The polypropylene top layer provides a low-friction surface. A high-impact polystyrene core provides the firm, semi-rigid foundation. And the rubber base keeps the mouse pad stationary.

I bought this back in April 2018 and I loved it. I needed a mouse pad and I like the dense ones. This one is real firm when flat on a surface, but it's relatively flimsy when you pick it up so putting it in a bag for commute won't be a hassle. The base has excellent grip and it barely moves. Do note if you move your entire arm and drag your wrist across it, the mousepad WILL move a tiny bit of course, as any surface would. And the edges of the mouse pad didn't experience any decay what so ever. Again, this is all over 2.5 years. Anyone who says it's not durable or doesn't hold up must have used their parent's money to buy it and doesn't know how to value their own assets. It has always stayed slick and hours of computer use. I rarely clean it and it looks fantastic ... MoreI bought this back in April 2018 and I loved it. I needed a mouse pad and I like the dense ones. I rarely clean it and it looks fantastic and holds an really good shine. It never caused any issues with DPI and the response is peak. It's also incredibly easy to clean. Spill food or soda on it? Comes right off. I've used clorox wipes instead of just water & a rag and it didn't alter the color or quality at all. The reason I am getting rid of it is I am looking to free up space on my work surface. This is a large mouse pad (about 13.5" wide x 11" tall. The thickness is like 1/16th of an inch (roughly). With my Razor Adder mouse and my preferred DPI settings, I barely move my hand, using maybe a quarter of the space in most situations. I tried to cut it with a sharp pair of scissors.. BIG NO NO. The gloss material on the top bubbled and lifted off of the mid-material like a bad tint job on a car window. If you wanted to trim this thing down, it's not going to happen without ruining it. I guess that's a good thing as it's to show how well built the ridges are. I would buy another one if they offered a smaller size, but that doesn't seem to be the case. 5/5 would recommend this product.

I usually just use the Formica desk top surface as it provides the least resistance and adds no thickness under the mouse. I love it! It is thin enough and the surface is fast! Very little drag. I've been a faithful Logitech brand user for all of my peripherals for 20+ years. Their mice and keyboards are the best for day to day use and their G440 mouse pad did not disappoint. Highly recommended. Cons: The edge of the pad was a little sharp. A nail file took care of that. The rubber pad could be a little stickier. It does slide occasionally. UPDATE: My 1st G440 is still going strong after many months of use. No sign of wear. I put 10-16 hours a day on it doing CAD design. I still love it and just bought another one for my second computer.

I love this mousepad, but its got a few key issues. There are a few things you need to know about this pad. First off, it is made of three (3) layers, the top layer is a very thin, textured black surface. The middle layer is a hard white pad that gives and keeps the mousepads shape. And the bottom layer is the soft, rubbery blue texture that keeps it in place, even on a glass top desk. The bottom layer is also the layer that makes up the 90% of the thickness. I've bought two of these mouse pads in 4 years, and considering its a $40 mouse pad, that is not a good thing. The second one I'm using now is actually separating between the two bottom layers AND the top two layers. The bottom layer, because of its design "shrinks" over time, causing the top two layers to have a lip over the edge of the thickest part (the bottom layer). At this point Its becoming unusable, as the bottom layers "Shrinkage" causes the top two layers to separate. I likely won't buy another one, though I do like this mousepad, it simply does not hold up to use, and the 1 year warranty means I'm buying another one every year and a half.

It's not a solid unbendable piece of plastic and is flexible enough to bend a little. This actually helps with durability, as it's not going to break or crack if you drop it on a hard floor. You won't be able to bend it far or roll it up or anything, but it has some give to it and one side is soft rubber for grip so it doesn't slide around. It works best with a solid surface under it, but could easily be used on top of a pillow or sitting on a leg. There is also a little texture to the surface and it isn't completely smooth. It's not enough to hold your mouse in place or anything, but there is an extremely slight resistance to moving the mouse as opposed to a smooth surface. Does the job well, has a nice surface area, and is exactly as advertised. No complaints.

It tells you that low friction is very good for gaming and makes it so you don't overshoot. Oh boy that's not true in my case at all. Hard surface mouse pads are literally designed for speed and not aim. Only good thing I found after a week of use is that it's basically water proof, so it will not bend (it's hard surface of course it won't unless u snap it)TLDR: Horrible for it's price point. Better alternatives like g240 mouse pad which is 20$ more cheaper and performs significantly better. Only get this mouse pad if you're tired of mouse pads bending after long use.

PROS: - Maintenance: SIGNIFICANTLY easier to clean than cloth mousepads - Desireable for players who want a "faster" aim with its low surface friction - Compatibility: Fits on Logitech G Powerplay Wireless Charging System (Charging may vary) CONS: - Material wear: Can wear out your mouse "feet" from the hard surface-to-surface contact - Pricier than it should be (non-name brands can offer the same "feel") - Not big enough for "slow sensitivity" FPS players: I've been playing CSGO for about 4000 hours now (reached level LEM, top 5% of player base) & I've played with 800 eDPI (the popular median mouse sens for CSGO pros), and I can confidently claim that the 13.375"x11" (33.9725cm x 27.94cm) dimension is too small to make a comfortable 180° turn on with 800 eDPI. I personally require at least an 18"x14" mousepad to play comfortably with 800 eDPI. But if you play with faster sens (e.g. more than 1000 eDPI on CSGO), than the size may not be an issue for you. I've been a long-time cloth mousepad user, but using the hard surface mousepad is winning me over. The lower friction allows you to aim "faster." I thought my aim would be less accurate from less friction/tolerance to shaky movements, but it allowed ease of movement that led to better performance. The desire for low friction mousepad is comparable to how serious FPS players desire FPS mouse that has a feather-like weight of 50 grams - some want both less weight & less friction for optimal aim. (This may all depend on your own personal preference though - you may just like cloth better in the end). Edit (191116): Clarified & grammar correction.

Sweet Mouse Pad

If you haven't used a hard mouse pad you really should try one out. They are so much better than the fabric covered ones. They don't move around, bunch up, fray, etc. and the movement is very smooth and consistent. I have used many different brands at home, work, and even use a cut down one for "mobile" workstation work. The only downside that I have found with hard pads in general is if you get any kind of gritty material on them it's very noticeable and can drive you to be a little retentive in keeping them clean. Before getting the G440 I was using a Corsair. The Corsair was great and, when it came time to replace it the decision came down to aesthetics--the yellow Corsair logo and stripes was never my preference and the G440 is really nice looking. The G440 is a little larger but both are plenty large--great for my 4k 28" monitor. The surface of the G440 is a bit smoother/faster than the Corsair. I have a dual-sided pad at work and it is almost equal to the Speed side where the Corsair is more toward the Precision side. I think it feels great and it is precise--obviously a lot of that has to do with the mouse's sensor but the texture is easily read by anything that I have used.So back to the looks of this, if you are concerned that the blue accent around the perimeter is a little to garish don't worry. In reality it is almost like "why did they bother?" because it is pretty subtle. The white "G" logo isn't necessary but it's harmless enough. The rubber on the bottom of the pad has good grip so it doesn't move around on my wood-grained plastic IKEA desktop. it's low profile--I think a little thinner than the Corsair--so ergonomically it's nice.Long enough review for a mouse pad I should think so I will just emphasize that once you try a hard mouse pad you will never go back to those cloth things--no matter how nice!

The Perfect Pad
31 December 2022

Nothing is perfect right? I have had highly rated pads made for gaming; might as well have had a sheet of glass under the mouse; too fast; others were made of a kind of fabric that over time began to get rough & slow the mouse down; this pad is the perfect companion to my new Logitech MX Master 3S mouse; they seem to be made for one another. Yes a rave & well deserved.

The fashionable trend in gaming is to have enormous XXXXXL cloth mouse mats which not only smell bad, but are nearly impossible to fully clean, and they run around $40+ for a quality mat from companies such as glorious PC gaming. I used to buy these and thought they were great. But I bought one of these to give a hard surface mousepad a try. And boy can I tell you this is far better than anything I've used before. The texture on the surface took some getting used to. At first I thought that it was lumpy and bumpy and almost decided to return it and go back to cloth pads. When it comes time to clean it, you just brush the thing off with your hand over a trash can and you're good to go. I've had this mousepad for about two months now and it still looks like I just took it out of its packaging. There's a review I've seen here on Home Essentials Direct where some guy was complaining about the durability and the mousepad looks like it went through a meat grinder, absolutely no idea what they did to it and it's hilarious. After two years I'll come back with a picture from how it's held up, but I'm guessing that it'll look brand new considering I don't plan on using it to play fetch with any dogs.

This is a great mouse pad. Slightly larger than my S&S Steelseries hard mouse pad that it replaced. It measures 13 3/8 in by 11 in. (give or take a 1/32 in). It is a hard plastic pad not a cloth pad (which I HATE). The size is plenty large enough for gaming. The back side has a powder blue rubber pad the same size which is glued to it. It really stays in place which was one problem I had with the Steelseries pad which only has little dribbles of rubber randomly dropped on the back side. I would periodically have to wash it off so it would start gripping properly again. It's too early to tell (just got it today) but I don't think I will have the same problem with the G440. At least not as often or as bad. For thickness the G440 is about twice as thick as the ... MoreThis is a great mouse pad. Slightly larger than my S&S Steelseries hard mouse pad that it replaced. I would periodically have to wash it off so it would start gripping properly again. It's too early to tell (just got it today) but I don't think I will have the same problem with the G440. At least not as often or as bad. For thickness the G440 is about twice as thick as the Steelseries hard pad but this was not a problem for me at least since it is still thinner than cloth pads I've tried (including the Steelseries QCK/QCK+ pads, though they are close). Pro's: Good for gaming especially. Nice larger than average size but doesn't take over your whole desk. Seriously smooth gliding surface for mousing over. Tracking is precise and doesn't cause skipping. Stays put since the rubber on the bottom side takes up the whole bottom surface. Con's: The edges are too sharp out of the box. Left as is they will irritate your wrist. This should have been dealt with at the factory but see note later on for fixing this. Subjective: Slightly thicker than the S&S Steelseries hard mouse pad which may be good or bad depending on your preferences. Note: The sharp edge is easily dealt with by simply taking an emery board for doing fingernails (your wife or girl friend probably has several just lying around) and carefully removing the sharp bottom edge where your wrist slides back and forth. I used one of the black ones that measure about 3/4 in. wide and 7 in. long and it worked perfectly. You only have to round it off very slightly to remove the sharpness and then you're set. A minute or two max. and you're done. Only do a little at a time then test it and repeat if necessary. Depending on the "newness" of the emery board you may want to use the finer side. If an older board then the rougher side may work better.
