For me PERSONALLY - there is one major issue with this mouse. The scroll wheel is so sensitive, so so so sensitive. For reading purposes and scouring through pages or documents, that's a great thing. However, for most games I've played (RDR2, GTAV, Battlebit, Hogwarts Legacy, etc), I have personally found the wheel to be too sensitive. For FPS games, if I need to flick suddenly or move the mouse quickly, the scroll wheel moves which sometimes (95% of the time) opens up a weapon wheel or scrolls to another spell deck in Hogwarts Legacy. It is infuriating, and honestly makes me regret buying the mouse.I had a Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury and that beauty lasted me a long time with a stupid numbers of hours of games and studying done using that mouse. How I miss it...

The Logitech G502 HERO is an outstanding gaming mouse that truly lives up to its reputation. Its ergonomic design fits comfortably in my hand, making long gaming sessions a breeze. The customizable RGB lighting adds a nice aesthetic touch, and the precision of the HERO sensor (up to 25,600 DPI) delivers exceptional accuracy. The mouse features programmable buttons that are perfect for gaming, allowing me to set up macros for quick actions. The adjustable weight system lets me fine-tune the feel, which is a nice touch for personalized comfort. Battery life is impressive, especially in wireless mode. Overall, the G502 HERO combines performance, comfort, and versatility, making it a top choice for gamers and productivity users alike. Highly recommended!

I daily drove this mouse for 2 years before my scroll wheel started to bug out. It was the best mouse I had ever used and I recommended it to all of my friends. However, there has been a recent redesign of the mouse, presumably to save on production costs, and it has cut corners and changed several things. The one most people are familiar with is that the cable is no longer braided which really isn't a huge deal, just a little lower quality. The change that I noticed was the scroll wheel. Once the scroll wheel on my first G502 started to bug out, I decided to buy another because I liked the first one so much. If you can find another way to get the old model of this mouse before the corner cuts, maybe second hand off of eBay or something, then that will be more worth your money than the current model. It's truly sad to see this legend of a mouse that so many people have loved for years fall to the hands of cooperate cost cutting.

I have 2 of these mice. The first was accidentally trashed when it got knocked off the table and landed on a ceramic tiled floor, directly on the middle mouse button/wheel. The middle button is NOT a normal micro-switch, it is a flimsy copper "dome" that effectively "clicks" in and out (like the cricket clicker toy). The impact dented the delicate copper plate disabling the middle button and the copper dome could not be repaired. The second mouse I have been using for approx 14 months and last week the left mouse button started giving problems. This is a common and extremely well documented flaw with this mouse and ALL Logitec mouses that use the same OMRON micro-switches. This is a common and extremely well documented flaw with this mouse and ALL Logitec mouses that use the same OMRON micro-switches. Apparently it is the cheap and nasty Chinese switches Logitec choose to use . The problem manifests itself with the left mouse button indiscriminately double clicking when only pressed once. As the problem worsens, the button no longer remains depressed, so drag & drop is not possible nor is highlighting certain text etc.Basically, once the button/s start to go, the mouse is trashed and must either have all of the cheap Chinese OMRON buttons replaced with decent Japanese versions, or the mouse replaced entirely. Replacing the buttons if you have the parts is relatively easy but also requires that you destroy the mouse feet in order to access the hidden screws holding the mouse together - so the feet need to be replaced too if repairs are made.I love the mouse, the features and feel, but it is let down by terribly cheap components which in reality make it the worst and most unreliable mouse I have used since the 1980's.Unless you dont mind replacing your mouse every year or so, steer clear of this and ANY Logitec mouse that uses the same OMRON switches

Great Mouse at a Great Price.

This is my second G502 that I have owned. My old one I broke when trying to clean under the left mouse click I accidently snapped the plastic. That was my fault and I wouldn't say that this mouse is cheaply made. Before buying this mouse for the second time I got the wireless version but for some reason had problems with connectivity and latency. So I went with the wired version. This mouse comes with a very long cord that when used with a mouse bungee allows this to feel basically like the wireless version. I find all the buttons on this mouse to be useful besides the dpi switcher, I would like that to be another programmable button. Either way this mouse is a great and has a great price point.

I read so much about this exact mouse over a decade, and I thought all the time the people are just exaggerating. Then I thought, okay, I do a reset on my knowledge about this mouse and start from zero with my research. And here we go again.(Greetings to the GTA San Andreas fans)I bought the mouse because I'm a fan of no exaggerating function and driver software, which is just killing my eye light with its light and shine settings all over the place. Also, the driver software is really easy to handle with no complicated or senseless settings. Love the feel of the mouse. It fits the natural contour of my hand making for a more relaxed feel. The ability to customize the weight by adding or removing weights to the mouse is really nice as it allows me to customize it to a weight that is more comfortable to me. The placement of the buttons on the mouse is perfect as they are situated exactly where your fingers naturally rest on the mouse so you don't even have to move your fingers away from their natural rest positions to use the buttons. The thumb rest on the side of the mouse also helps by taking the strain off of having to hold the thumb up on the mouse during long periods of use. This is a nice and sturdy mouse with a great feel to it. It has amazing features that I’ve never gotten with any other mouse. Prior to this I had a razer death adder mouse, this mouse lasted me 3 years and was the best mouse I ever had, I loved the feeling and shape of the mouse and the fact that I could change speeds and colors of the mouse on a whim. When choosing a new mouse I was worried that I wouldn’t get that same experience, that the mouse would feel wrong in my hand and I just wouldn’t be able to use it, so I was gonna get the same razer mouse again despite the issues with the scroll wheel pin breaking after 3 years. One issue with that was they don’t make them anymore, so I risked getting a second hand one off Amazon and it breaking on me quite quickly. ... MoreThis is a nice and sturdy mouse with a great feel to it. But I was determined to get the exact same mouse to quell my brain and have a good mouse experience however, it wasn’t until my friend reached out to me and said that she had the wireless Logitech hero g502. Now I can’t do wireless cause I’m notorious for not charging my things and I don’t want my mouse to die right in the middle of a VALORANT comp match, so that was the first no for me. I did some research however and found that they did have a wired version of the same mouse. While skeptical not only of the shape and size of the mouse and how it would feel in my hand, but also because I have bought Logitech before and it just isn’t all that great. I bought a Logitech wireless headset from JB-HI-FI a few years prior and since day one I had issues with it. The connection sometimes doesn’t work and you have to unplug the usb and plug it back in, the sound sometimes crackles, just little things like that, it’s all bareable but it’s not something you want out of a product you use on a daily basis. However, seeing as that headset was my one and only Logitech product, and I’ve only heard good things generally about their company, I went away and I did some thinking. I came back a few days later and decided, for how cheap it was and how highly my friend recommended it, I was gonna take the risk and try this product. While I’m still trying to work out some of the buttons and what not, from the moment I got it I knew this was gonna be an awesome mouse, it feels great and it works even better, some of the customization features such as the scroll wheel unlock, the color changing and the addition weights you can add to the mouse itself are phenomenal features that I’ve never seen before, they take the capability of the mouse to new levels. The variety of extra mouse buttons for keybinding various actions is also brilliant! I’m so glad I listened to my friend because I cannot recommend this mouse enough, 10/10, do buy this mouse!

My go-2 mouse that is perfect for gaming

My go-to mouse that is perfect for gaming. I like the speed scroll setting button to switch between 3 speeds. Then, the roller has a locking mechanism to click-wheel thru website or free-roll so you can scroll thru website like a slippery wet slide. Then, as if that wasn't enough, you can adjust the weight of the mouse and traction by "inserting the metal weights" to your desire. And, with the fast ms response time for gaming, and contoured mold to your hand like a "glove" what more could you want? Even the texture surface is rubbery or leather and a good grip at the right location. The only improvement I can see? If it had a "fan" inside to cool off your hands , because of the intense gaming and long hours of using this product.
