I must say that this is one good-looking set, however, it sounds incredible too. I love that it comes with a subwoofer; it makes the ground shake, and the flashing lights really get my blood pumping. I am quite enjoying this for gaming, but also for dancing too, haha! Anyway, if you are on the fence about buying it due to the price (pretty amazing for the quality, if you ask me), I highly recommend this speaker set. It seems that Logitech makes great peripherals as I have not been disappointed by any of the ones I have purchased yet. The only thing that could use some improvement is their app, but in general it seems companies these days don't spend enough time on their software. I will say that their app is on par with most RGB/RGBIC apps out there.

I play a Rhythm game called osu! where timing is extremely important and these speakers perform extremely well in both latency and audio quality. The subwoofer is also very powerful. I've got a JBL 9.1 Surround Sound System and this subwoofer is comparable to the JBL sub. Not quite as powerful but for a PC setup it absolutely blows any competition out of the park. I also watched quite a lot of anime and movies with the visual lightsync on and it performed a lot better than I thought. Having the wall light up in sync with the movie on screen feels very immersive. I'm not an audio expert but the audio quality is clearer than my Astro A40 headset that I have used for a few years. I've had my eye on this speaker system for quite some time now, probably over a year, but they've been out of stock every place that I've looked. Finally B&H had them in stock and I'm so happy I ordered them, plus free next day delivery was also a very nice! Setup and installation is easy and straight forward, simply connect both speakers to the sub-woofer unit via the attached cables, power on the unit and connect an audio source via the included USB A to Micro-B cable, a standard 3.5mm audio cord or a Bluetooth device. You could use these speakers without the Logitech G Hub software, but I'd highly recommend using the USB connection and installing G Hub, which will unlock all of the speakers features, specifically the RBG. Now, I will warn you that I am a Logitech fanboy, I've used their products for over 10 years now and have used their business keyboards, gaming keyboards, business mice, gaming mice, headsets, webcams and their MX series speakers. I am totally blown away by the performance of these G560s! I'm certainly no audiophile, but these speakers really lived up to my expectations. The mids and highs are crisp and clear, and the bass is deep and punchy; everything I could want for making conference calls or blasting baddies while gaming. Plus the RGB is easy to setup, bright and vibrant with several options to suit your needs. I currently use these speakers with both my work laptop and my custom built desktop gaming PC (Ryzen 5 3600x, 32gigs of 3200mhz ram and a Hybrid EVGA 1080Ti SC2). From what I could see, it appeared that there is a 6 inch sub-woofer in the box, which in my experience, rumbles the entire house and makes the dogs bark while only at half volume. I would recommend downloading and installing the firmware update from Logitech's website; installing the latest firmware will allow you to control the sub-woofer volume independently of the speaker volume, which is very nice because I don't want to be rattling the entire house or making the dogs bark during my late night gaming sessions. I've only had these speakers for a day and usually I would wait awhile to post a review, but I'm so impressed with these that I felt an immediate review was in order. Do yourself a favor and buy these while they're still in stock; yes they're a little expensive, but they work and sound great! I'll be sure to update my review if I encounter any issues, but in my experience, Logitech products hold up really well in the long run.

Great speakers with cool lights
23 November 2022

Really impressed with these after replacing my old pair of Logitechs I'd had for 15 years. The subwoofer on this is a bit bigger than expected, but other than that I like that there's not too many cables everywhere and the speakers themselves look nice. The lighting is fantastic, especially on screen expansion mode when playing games. They actually put out a really good amount of light. Sometimes, rarely, one will pop out of lighting sync with the other but this is due to GHub updating or other GHub shenanigans and fixes itself after power cycling. I'd totally recommend these speakers for anyone looking to upgrade for a good price.

IMPORTANT: NEED TWEEKS TO SOUND GREAT
28 April 2021

Logitech have made some fine sounding speakers, then decided to kill them with firmware updates and GHub. Let me be upfront: If you are not a heavy base lover, these will be great for you and you can download and use the software and new firmware no problem. If you like Base, these require 30 minutes of prep work. The latest firmware and driver updates basically kill the base at very low volumes, and these are already extremely loud at 20% volume in Windows. Google Search: "Reddit How to make your G560 Speakers sound awesome and fix all sound related issues" This thread explains how to make these sound absolutely fantastic. Google Search: "Reddit How to make your G560 Speakers sound awesome and fix all sound related issues" This thread explains how to make these sound absolutely fantastic. After doing this however, GHub is rendered useless for them (these are my only Logi device so no big deal, I just uninstalled), and lightsync does not function, as well as the lights tend to flicker, so I have them permanently off. Logitech basically made it so that the only sound profile windows sees is a simulated 7.1 Surround and nothing else, not even basic 2.1 Stereo, which is frankly insane. Following the directions in the thread revert them to Generic USB Sound Devices bringing stereo back but losing 7.1. The software used in the link above to make them sound great is safe for your computer, and the author even included his/her own sound profile for ease of setup and it sounds VERY nice. If you do not care about any of the fancy stuff, they are VERY NICE sounding speakers. Its a shame Logitech has basically abandoned these, but with the tweaks in the link above, I am very happy with them. I have to dock a star because while they sound great, no user should have to go through all this to make the base actually sound good at low volumes.

It's good ...but
27 June 2021

I just got this in the door this afternoon after waiting months for it to be in stock. Now, I won't take away the star for that. while I will give my honest opinion for a review, this is a really good speaker ...but where I take away the star is that after setting it up and plugging it in. the left satellite had buzzing with voices and low ends in sound that sounds like the driver peaking and causing distortion in just the left side. I did a bit of research and found it was common for a lot of users and it possibly a firmware issue. I found people recommending rolling back the previous firmware update before the current one. though I did do this, it also came with overly loud volume adjustments where 2% might as well be 35%. so instead I updated it to current ... MoreI just got this in the door this afternoon after waiting months for it to be in stock. I found people recommending rolling back the previous firmware update before the current one. though I did do this, it also came with overly loud volume adjustments where 2% might as well be 35%. so instead I updated it to current firmware again. even though it has that distorting I was able to find a comfortable spot lowering the subwoofer to around 20 in GHUB (forget about surround sound I turned it off because it worsened the distorting sound on that side in whatever way I tried to fix it). though I can hear the potential high quality sound out of these speakers. this issue is why I deduct that 1 star. If there's anyone from Logitech reading this, please get word out to resolve this issue in a future update. I am completely willing to stick with these speakers so long as it gets fixed. I do love these. They are very nice and aesthetically pleasing to look at and from what I have my settings at these are nice to listen to, just get the issue fixed pls and I'll gladly slap in the extra star.

Really good speakers with RGB
16 July 2021

The speakers have an inner rail full of RGB lights and a GIANT RGB bulb on the back, so it can illuminate your entire setup if you strategically place your desk near a wall. RGB uses Logitech G Hub, just like the mice, headphones, and keyboards. I give this a 4 instead of 5 due to lack of solid integration between multple RGB products in G Hub. I can sync my headphones lighting to my keyboard, but these speakers don't have a sync option. They have lots of RGB controls, so if you play with it, you'll have fun. But if you prefer simple, beautiful lighting to stream smoothly throughout your Logitech G devices, you may want to switch to Razer later. If you want LOUD and HEAVY bass, enough to simulate beating your own heart for you, these are the boys you want. The subwoofer is MASSIVE and is essentially the size of a small stool (DO NOT sit on it or you'll have a lovely vibrating time~) and it shakes the floor so ferociously at 40%, I'm afraid to bump it any higher for fear of causing an earthquake on this floor! This is the Number 1 I will recommend for parties, because it can connect to devices via bluetooth as well with up to 4 devices and everyone in your house will feel it, the audio, the bass, the LIGHTS. Must-buy if you like to entertain, yourself or guests!

Solid Speakers

Truthfully bought these as a second choice, as I got a cheaper pair of Creatives to use with my new monitors, but realized afterwards that they wouldn't fit on my desk without being blocked by my monitors. Got these instead since they were shorter and I've used a number of logitech products over the years, and they've rarely let me down. The sound is quite good, though I admit I'm no audiophile so nuances are lost on me. I have noticed when watching a show it movie that when the bass picks up, It. Picks. Up. Probably need to adjust those settings. Lights are controlled with the GHub software, which has been relatively simple to use. Biggest issue was that I forgot each game gets its own profile, which explained why the light sync wasn't working initially. Oh, and the cables are a good length, they easily reached the sides where I placed each speaker and having the sub on the floor nearby just fine.

Too many bugs
17 August 2021

I've owned these speakers since 2019, and the overall sound quality and everything is great. However, the firmware updates completely ruin them. First, the firmware update the speakers came with had the volume levels totally off. I could only ever put my PC volume on 10, and anything about that typically would just be completely blown out. I did a lot of research and MANY people complained about this. They released a firmware updated that fixed that, but then somehow completely removed any bass coming from the subwoofer. Even with adjustments, the subwoofer became completely useless. That update was from 2018. Finally just a few months ago, AFTER ALMOST 3 YEARS OF RADIO SILENCE FROM LOGITECH ABOUT FIXING THESE BUGS, they released a new firmware update this May that ... MoreI've owned these speakers since 2019, and the overall sound quality and everything is great. Finally just a few months ago, AFTER ALMOST 3 YEARS OF RADIO SILENCE FROM LOGITECH ABOUT FIXING THESE BUGS, they released a new firmware update this May that seemingly resolved both the volume level issue and the subwoofer issue. I was hoping for this update to finally make these 100% usable, but unfortunately now every so often, the speakers disconnect, sound shuts off, and then after 3 seconds or so it comes back BOOMING. This issue happens pretty often, and again I've done research and multiple people are complaining about this issue. I really wanted to like these speakers and have held on for over 2 years, but I think it's time for me to find something better. Don't hold your breath for quick and fast firmware updates. Logitech just can't seem to make an update that doesn't come with major bugs that ruin the entire experience.

truly solid speakers, a couple of caveats, but for the price they're great
8 April 2021

At this price point, there aren't a lot of great sounding speakers. These truly do sound great. They have some good oomph to them, clean mids and highs, and are definitely worth it. The couple of caveats are probably not dealbreakers, but they are worth knowing before you buy: First, these don't use regular speaker wire between the satellites and the subwoofer because of the lighting capability -- for that reason, you're limited to a fixed cable that comes with it and is permanently attached to the satellite speakers -- so there's no customizing the length of the cables here. That isn't a problem in my particular setup, but could be for some folks. They're plenty long for most situations. The only other caveat is that the lighting effects, while pretty great, have occasionally flaked out on me and stopped working. Since the latest software update, that stopped happening, but prior to that I'd occasionally have to unplug the USB and plug it back in. On the flip side: one nice bonus is that I can plug in a second computer to the other input (there's a USB audio input as well as a 3.5mm jack) and hear sound from both computers out of the same set of speakers without a mixer. This comes with the catch that you may need to adjust volume on both computers a bit to balance things out (USB-connected computer volume down turns it down on both), but that's never really a huge issue for me. Overall, solid and worth the buy, but did come with a couple of unexpected caveats I thought worth pointing out.
