Bought my keys to go from best buy. I have a 2018 ipad (9.7 inch). I was looking for a budget setup to have full portability, productivity, and protection on the go. These keys to go are AWESOME. First off, the battery lasts forever and is quick to charge...something like for every minute of charging you get 2 hours of battery life, so you are really never stuck without a keyboard. Even if it runs down all the way, just plug it in for 5 minutes and you have a full days charge. The keys are super soft to the touch. It is SUPER light. I also like the "hot" keys on the top row. (Something the ipad magic keyboard doesnt have). Some of my favorites are the home button, dim/brighten, volume up/down, rewind/play/fwd. Very convenient. The included tray stand is nice if you ... The included tray stand is nice if you dont already have a case that will prop up your ipad for viewing. I have tried various "portable" or mini keyboards and this is the best by far. So, my budget setup is a soft pleather folio with zipper (by Onn) from walmart ($17), keys to go ($60), bellemond kent paper screen protector ($18), apple smart cover ($49), and either a logi crayon or zagg pro stylus ($69). Total $215 and I have full productivity, type like a laptop or take notes by hand, and protection, and its super light. Apple want $300 for a magic keyboard and >$100 for an apple pencil, and that setup is super heavy compared to what I have. Also, the magic keyboard drains the ipad battery. Keys to Go does not. I just lay it in my folio and zip it shut.

I purchased this for my iPad, and I am very pleased with it. It is an excellent keyboard for mobile devices. I typed this review comfortably with it and I have no complaints. This is much more versatile than an in-case keyboard. It came with a smartphone stand, (only works without phone case) so I can easily use it for my phone. My favorite part about this keyboard is that it is a stand alone keyboard. I can use a good quality iPad case of my choice, and if I ever need a keyboard I have one that is very portable and easy to use.I have not had this keyboard for more than a few days, so I cannot speak to it’s durability or it’s battery life.10/10 Highly Recommend.

There's not really anything on the market that can compete with Keys-To-Go for a portable, ultralight but almost-full-size keyboard so in that sense I don't regret the purchase. However, Logitech's decision to make the keyboard waterproof -- solving a problem I'm not sure existed -- means the keys are very hard to press and it's difficult to type. Still handy and makes writing with just a smartphone much easier, but much worse than a normal keyboard of any kind.
For the size and weight, this little keyboard fills the role I need. I have a PC tablet, and though it is intended for iPads, it still functions nominally. I wish there were some missing PC keys (ESC for example) and that some of the iPad keys would behave more PC-like when attached to a Windows device.Windows doesn't encourage tablets, so this may be a market that does not merit these kinds of changes.
Minus one star because documentation with it suggests it is from 2015. This is an issue because I ordered a different keyboard that turned out to be from 2008, and its battery would not take a charge. When seeking assistance for that product, I was told it was at end-of-life. Thus far, this keyboard works, and appears to work well. Just buyer beware, this is not a recent product. That said, about the product in particular: I wanted the German layout, but the Swiss layout will suffice. With it, I am able to access and explore the many international characters available to the iPad. German and Swiss French are close enough in keyboard layout that this keyboard is easily used for typing both German and French. Background information: Switzerland has four official ... German and Swiss French are close enough in keyboard layout that this keyboard is easily used for typing both German and French. Background information: Switzerland has four official languages, German, French, Italian, and Romansch. This keyboard was designed for all four languages. I also find that it can be used for Spanish. A true multi-lingual keyboard. I like the product, but I do fear for its age.
I love the keyboard. It's very good. The only reason why I didn't give it five stars because it doesn't have a capital lock. Light.Otherwise, it is perfect, and worked with my iPad Pro very well. And the customer support is over the top. Good job.
Pairs quickly with Pixel 5a and iPad Pro (each paired separately). Similar size and layout to Macbook Pro, just a tad bit smaller, so muscle memory works well enough. Light and soft and slim and quiet. Compared to Apple laptop keyboards, one must use more pressure when typing. The globe key is NOT the same as one on an Apple keyboard for iPad. To mimic Apple's globe key functionality, use iPad settings to choose from specific available keys to override with Apple globe key functionality—I used the caps lock key.
Am I suppose to type with this? I bought it only because I couldn't find a Mac keyboard in the country where I live, and this was the only Mac compatible keyboard available. But the keyboard is as flat as a tortilla (not good for someone who knows how to type), and the keys are hard to press and so close together that I often hit the wrong one. I'm a trained secretary and have worked as translator for over 22 years, so I do know how to type.
These keys are cute and lightweight and cheaper than Apple keys. However, they are a typo factory. The keys are very close together, and because they all wrapped in plastic together, it's very difficult to avoid pressing the wrong keys. There isn't enough of a tactile difference between them.Another problem is the connectivity between different devices-- which is a problem I have with every non-Apple bluetooth product that I'm trying to use with an Apple product. For example: If I last used the keyboard with my iPhone, then later try to use it with my iPad, it will only connect with the iPhone. To switch them, I have to go into my Bluetooth settings on each device and disconnect one and connect the other and it takes longer than I would like.I was going to give ... I expect better design than this.
