This is the keyboard that I use for work on a daily basis. The reason I wanted to buy this keyboard was due to the low profile look and connectivity with both windows and MacOS. My overall experience with it has been great so far sparring a few issues. To summarize: Battery Life - I get almost 100-120 hours of battery life out of the MX keys with backlighting off. When I have to charge it though, it takes about 45 mins to hit 100%. Connectivity - Logitech gives you the ability to pair this keyboard via bluetooth or via the USB receiver. I’ve had no issues with drops in connectivity and Logitech states the range is 10 meters. Software - Logi Options software can be downloaded to customize the MX Keys according to your preference. There are dedicated keys on the keyboard as well that let you easily switch between different devices which is super cool. There are also ambient sensors on the keyboard that adjust the keyboard backlighting brightness. I work in a space that gets pretty bright in the day and hence I mostly have my keyboard backlight off. Typing - I’m extremely happy with my typing experience. It’s quiet and buttery smooth. Every keystroke is registered almost instantly. I wouldn’t recommend this keyboard to someone who has been using mechanical keyboards though. The MX keys takes some time getting used to it like any other keyboard, but the pros outweigh the cons at least for me.

The Logitech software allows you to set up and change some options on both keyboard and mouse so I would check that out as well. While it was a significant amount of money to lay out, I'm completely satisfied with the purchase and wish I would of bought it sooner.

I miss the MX Keys has no dedicated Sleep function button, but I was able to change the Lock key to Sleep function with the Logitech software - which I found could have been a little more intuitive. I also like the keyboard can be turned off while the computer is in Sleep mode and will wake my Windows 11 computer when turned back on by pressing any key. The keyboard feel is solid, works well sitting in my lap, and the key feel while typing is fine.

Overall:This keyboard has been an absolute lifesaver for me. I work from home but use my personal PC and work laptop with the same monitors at the same desk. With the MX I'm able to connect to my laptop (M1 MacBook) while the lid is closed and my home desktop PC (Windows). Whenever I want to switch it's a quick tap of the device switch button and it switches instantly and allows me to wake up my laptop and/or PC. I use this paired with an MX Master 2S and it really makes the WFH flow much better!Pros:-It has a great sleek design and awesome build quality (good heft!)-The keys are silent to press, so no clicking and clacking that bother roommates or family.-Wireless with great battery life, I think I end up charging it once every 3 weeks to a monthCons:-The ... MoreOverall:This keyboard has been an absolute lifesaver for me. It constantly disconnects and doesn't recognize my keystrokes, or recognizes them all at once and repeats the keys I entered over and over again. I ended up buying a new PC with Bluetooth to connect it, which fixed the problem-The Logitech options software used to customize the keys and lighting was also contributing to weird key issues, like delay between pressing a key and seeing the input. It even had a frustrating bug that caused the volume key to get stuck either increasing or decreasing the volume, which is obviously problematic if you're wearing headphones. I ended having to uninstall it, so I lost some functionality there.
This Logitech Keyboard is a game changer for me and my current environment. Done are the days of having to move around the dongle to different machines just to get it to work. This keyboard features Bluetooth and can easily pair to and store the settings for three devices. If you need to go beyond or don't have Bluetooth on your device, it does come included with the traditional wireless dongle so you can move around as needed. The feel of each key stroke is amazing. I am able to flawlessly use this keyboard on Bluetooth between a Mac, Android, and Windows machines. One tap to the setting number and it switches over. Charing is amazing, comes with a USB Type-C cable to charge, no need to change out batteries. As for the key strokes, I can't rave enough how quite and smooth they are to use. Some other pro's to put out there, the keyboard has a good weight to it so it won't be easily flopping around your work surface, between the weight and rubber feets, it stays put. The backlight engages when you are typing or motion passes the keyboard, otherwise the backlight dims back to off between type for battery conservation. I've only had to charge it once and that probably wasn't necessary but I did it just to get a charging in after opening it. The keys on the key board also feature some Mac and some Windows specific keys for ease.
Needed to replace my keyboard and after some research decided to check out the MX Keys full-size wireless keyboard. Keyboards are very subjective, but I was specifically looking for something with low-profile, flat, quiet keys and this truly exceeded my expectations. The backlit keys are the feature you always wanted but never knew you needed!Having owned several Logitech keyboards over the years, this one is in a class of its own -- the build is solid, it pairs with 3 devices, and you can remap most of the Fn keys. And this is a cool feature -- if you copy/cut text using keyboard commands (Ctrl + C, Ctrl + X), you can then paste the selection (Ctrl + V) into one of your paired devices. (I knew this feature worked with an MX mouse, but I don't have one and was surprised to learn it worked with just the keyboard)Typing on the MX Keyboard is pure joy -- by comparison, the other Logitech keyboards I've owned feel like pure junk. I actually look forward to typing. It's a real game changer. So why only 4 stars? Two reasons. First is Logitech's software. They have made (some) improvements, but overall it is still a hot mess and I'm not feeling so great about the security of the Unifying receiver (my M650 mouse came with the new Logi Bolt which is far more secure). Both the M650 and the MX Keys also pair via Bluetooth, but I was having some trouble getting it to pair ... because, Logitech.Ultimately, I ended up trading up to the MX Keys for Business version which comes with the Logi Bolt receiver and is also Bluetooth compatible. They keyboards are nearly identical (one or two Fn keys are different) but the additional security was important to me and is also something that most IT departments will support if you want to pair the keyboard with your work laptop. If you need to replace your keyboard or are looking to upgrade, this should definitely be among your top choices.

Click into the window to bring that game to the forefront and resume playing with the Bluetooth connected PS4 controller. With all of this going on I saw no blips in ANY rendered windows. I had 2 monitors hooked up so I could see all items running simultaneous in Mac OS and Windows. I had to swipe over to the Linux screen to see that performance.EVERYTHING ran smooth as butter and ready for this >> using 34-48 % CPU, 25GB of 32GB of Memory (Windows VM used 11GB). My system monitor showed 125 degrees (F) across all cores. Energy used was 25 watts! An equivalent Intel based iMac Machine running half of what I was running tonight would have been spinning all fans at full power and bogging down.During my tests the RPMs were reported at 1300 RPMs and I don’t hear a thing.Hats off to Apple and their design of Apple Silicon. Now if their Software Team could deliver at the level that the Hardware team does then Apple would be untouchable.
I purchased the MX keys as well as the MX Master 3 Mouse approximately 12 months ago. I have a long history of using mechanical keyboards and gaming mice (for nearly 9-10 years), and this is the first time I returned to a non-mechanical keyboard ever since. I've transitioned to using my computer more for work/study and the occasional gaming. The keyboard is versatile and suits both use-case scenarios. As someone with quite large hands, I wish the keyboard had larger key caps, however Please do not change anything about the switches or the types of key caps I absolutely love how they sound/feel (especially the subtle dips in the key caps). The keyboard is top tier in terms of connectivity, reliability, and all other electronic features/performance. I think logitech has found a good niche for the MX keys - people who want a versatile keyboard but aren't interested in buying a mechanical keyboard. If you were to make the key caps larger, please ensure that there is no wobble to the keys and they uniformly travel down to retain the premium feel. I would also like to add that the vast majority of people using the MX keys full size keyboard will not be routinely transporting this keyboard around and will mostly be using it at a stationary set up (they may opt for the 10-keyless option if they need a portable option). Therefore, it wouldn't hurt to subtly increase the size of the keyboard in interest of creating larger key caps. Again, I will reiterate, please don't change anything else I adore this keyboard. Keep the lights the same, keep the design the same, keep all of the connectivity options the same, just leave it the way it is but larger key caps will be nice. I feel I would be able to type faster and mash my keyboard faster, and it will make it the most comfortable keyboard ever.
I have another wireless Logitech keyboard, but I wanted a keyboard that had backlit keys, as I sometimes work in a dimly-lit room. This fits the need with exception. The keyboard feels very sturdy, and it is a tad heavy. I generally don’t travel with a keyboard, so no big deal. It certainly does not slide around on the desk. The angle of the keyboard is fine, and the keys are very comfortable to type. The backlit keys have a timer that you can set, but this only works when the keyboard is plugged in and charging. If the room is bright, then the backlight on the keys might not come on at all. If the sensor senses that the room light is not that high, then the backlight will turn on, but will turn off after about 5 seconds once your fingers are off the keyboard. Once you place your fingers close to the keyboard, the backlight will turn on, but it may take 1-2 seconds. I know that Logitech did this to save on battery life, but it is a bit annoying. Other than the backlight issue, this is a solid keyboard, and I like the feel of the keys while typing. 5-star rating if Logitech fixes the backlit key issue when on battery.
Woah, despite being sold as a pair, the MX Keys (full-size) keyboard and the Master 3S mouse don't use the same Bolt receiver. The keyboard is only compatible with the older "Unifying" receiver, which I believe is discontinued, and replaced by the new "Bolt" receiver. This means you need to use two usb slots, and have to setup the devices separately in the app. Since the app can only access one receiver at a time. They use Bluetooth, but if you want to do any config before going into you OS, Bluetooth won't work. To make it more confusing, the MX mini uses Bolt! There is a "business" version of the MX keyboard, and it works with the Bolt receiver. But it has replaced some of more utilitarian keys with an Emoji key. Have no idea why. Especially with it being called a "business" version. But if you want the keyboard to be able to share the app and receiver with the mouse, it is an option.Beware of the confusion and limitations of this kit/pair
