PROS:- Minimalist design. Really love the graphite color. - 100/100 for the backlit keys. Something the Apple MK doesn't have yet. - Logi Options detected the item without an issue- Connects to my MB bluetooth automatically- Charging cable works as expected. - Sensor is working. - Fits perfectly with my minimalist set up of Black/Grey theme. - Has that Mac keyboards feel to it. - Seller was responsive enough. CONS:- Keystrokes feels a bit weird. Kinda \"jumpy\". Not as tactile as I thought it would be but it's close. - Keyboard doesn't remember the last level of brightness. Set the brightness to the lowest, after turning the keyboard off and turning it on, brightness level increased. - The OPT/Start and CMD/Alt button designs feels tacky.- Delivery took 10 days.

5 Star Keyboard

Let me start by saying this is the second Logitech keyboard I've bought. My previous one was 5 years old and had served me faithfully. But had worm some of the key down enough that the letters had faded away. So I found this new keyboard and ordered it. When I opened the box, I thought "how beautiful a keyboard!" I really like the way the keys feel and the travel of the keys. It feels like just the right amount. The lighted keys are a nice feature and that the lighting goes inactive if not in use save the battery life. Bluetooth pairing is simple and painless. All in all, I rate this a 5 star keyboard. I hope it lasts as long as my previous Logitech keyboard.

They have the spring and travel of your typical non-Apple laptop keyboard (this is an imprecise science but I'd say a bit like a Thinkpad keyboard). In the few months I've had it, I tend to need to recharge every 1-1.5 months. This is admittedly because I have the backlighting turned off usually (the proximity sensor on this is very good at lighting up the keyboard when you hover close to it). It's ambient light detection isn't quite as fast but if in a fairly well lit environment I've found that within 10-15 minutes it'll automatically turn off the backlighting. It took the briefest moments to get used to the dual Mac+Windows markings on function keys for eg. The hotkeys at the top are the default instead of traditional function keys. I've not quite worked out how to use the switching between devices buttons to the top left, and it took me a while to realise that there's built in buttons for say emojis, screen capture, and muting in meetings. The latter is now quite handy. Of course ultimately the Logi+ software allows you to configure some of the buttons yourself though I've not yet had need for it.Overall, really pleased with this product! Can recommend (Logitech's products are on the pricier side but for me I appreciate the quality to the MX range and am fully converted to it).

Loving this pretty little keyboard!!!
14 October 2024

I usually am disappointed because I always forget to measure the items I buy, and they turn out to be not the size I was expecting. I didn't do that here. I measured and tried them out on my desk to see how it would work/look. It was really hard for me because it just looked SO small. I went for it though, feeling positive. I opened it up and it was so pretty! It really was small and I thought I had once again made a mistake. I had to buy a separate blue-tooth USB though, because I didn't realize my computer would need that. No biggie, that was easy enough. So, to get to the point, I love it! I did have to get used to the smaller size a bit, but nothing major. The keys feel very nice and smooth, I guess you could say. I love the backlit keyboard too. The small size is perfect for the space, because I now have room have my mouse pad close and not have to try to place it in a super specific position so it didn't get in my way. I only gave the battery a 4-star, which may not be fair, because I don't really know about that yet and I didn't want to get anyone too excited with a 5-star. Ha. This keyboard is a nice, heavy design. It isn't cheap or flimsy at all. I absolutely love the rose color. It gives me a boost when I look at it and my pink mouse. Oh...I can also push it forward far enough to be under my desktop(it's on a pull-out surface), and my kittens can't step all over the keys while I'm typing!!

Provide a dedicated Windows keyboard or optional replaceable keycaps for Windows not to ruin the experience
2 March 2023

1. I use the keyboard with Windows and keys with double marking for Mac are very very very annoying. The main key "Start" is completely unreadable. Instead of tiny "start" letters Mac's "opt" is prominently displayed. I constantly stop typing to find "Start" key.Looks like Windows system is the second-grade citizen after Mac. It's very bad. There are more Windows users than Mac users and Logitech completely ruins the experience for Windows users. The company has a dedicated MX keyboard for Mac. Why not for Windows? Why is there no respect for Windows users? At least there MUST be additional replaceable keycaps supplied with the keyboard for a single system to replace the multi-system keycaps. These are the least used actions. Not to mention that there is a native shortcut for emoji in Windows.I don't understand why Logitech decided to ruin such a great keyboard idea with a terrible decision for absolutely terrible keycaps that just not suitable for Windows experience. Offer a dedicated Windows keyboard or supply the keyboard with 4 replaceable keycaps for Start, Alt Left, Alt Right, and Ctrl Right. Mac's prominent marking kills the experience.

Versatility and adaptability

Wanting a spare keyboard to use for media controls and my XP-Pen display for digital illustration, I really like the smaller profile of this model. It's just as comfortable and quiet as the MX Master Keys S but great to carry around and use for other compatible devices around the house. The special keys added like dictations, screencaps, and even emojis are really useful. I often like to use them with my iPad.One thing I would like to see included in the package would be the Logitech Bolt adaptor so it could be used for devices that don't have Bluetooth built-in. I needed to check with customer service for clarification since my unifying adaptors don't connect to newer devices for my PC. The product itself is great. Probably the most comfortable keyboard I have used up to this day and i wish i could give it a 5 star review. The downside of this that makes me rate it low is the constant disconnection while using it. At first i didn't really notice this because i was not using they computer for extended periods of time. Few weeks later after i can no longer return i started working on evaluation stuff for work and used my computer for longer periods of time and noticed this issue. I looked up online solutions, updated the keyboard, turn it off & turned it back on and nothing. Keyboard was on, but not connected to the computer. As a Sr. Technical Writer, having the perfect keyboard for my home office is a must. The MX Keys has served as an exceptional instrument for the task-burdened typist. The key press threshold is effortless, while still delivering a satisfying response. The scissor mechanism is smooth, the key height is superb for gliding fingers across the board, the backlight is fantastic and can detect hand engagement really well. The unit itself is very solid and well constructed. This is my 4th MX Keys unit, the other three are full size. The first has gone to my son, the second to my wife, the third at my physical desk, and now the Mini for my virtual office setup (the full size is too large for a lap desk). This is an excellent keyboard in my opinion. It's easy to type with, given my preference for low-profile keyboard. Unfortunately, my G915 model is called "low-profile," but it has too great of travel time and is too high off its chassis in my opinion (makes sense since it's it's mechanical unlike this). The difficulty I found in typing with it motivated me to purchase this keyboard. I would also argue that its lowest backlight brightness is too high, but just at the edge of comfort. I was initally anxious over my experience with cheaper blue tooth keyboards, because they lag and chug through gameplay, and this also lacked a proprietary receiver. Not only that, but it doesn't appear to use the cord for anything other than charging.I was happy to find out, however, that it suffers from none of those aforementioned issues. Even in high-end "AAA" games, the keyboard functions so well. Awesome work again, Logitech. This keyboard fortifies my love for its brand. Might even pick up the full-sized version in future.

I own the big (number pad) version of this keyboard as well. Been using that one for over 3 years flawlessly. This was a logi-cal next step (sorry had to) for travel. Its worked great so far. Been using it for my laptop and cell phone. The ability to use it on 3 devices and quickly switch is where its at. Backlit is now a requirement along with USB C charging. The power switch is good tactile click so you know when its off, with that it doesnt come on in your bag and drain (or ghost type on your cell paired cell phone). The only negative is the battery bump at the back when packing. It can get hung or hinder sliding it in a tight space on a bag.Feels solid, very little flex, and quiet unless your w-a-s-ding hard on it.
