The mouse has a great shape and gets fantastic reviews. When I looked at user pics, I thought it looked a bit bigger than I would prefer, but it fits nicely in the hands and I can still “draw” with it when it comes time to dive into photoshop or illustrator. The weight of the mouse is a touch more than your standard mouse, but it honestly gives it a great feel and I have no issues zooming around. The side scrolling wheel also comes in very handy in design apps and clicking the center button will toggle the scroll wheel from a notch indexed feel to smooth, which allows it to act a little more like a Magic Mouse because you can flick your scrolling and let it roll ( Mac users should understand that). I thought the price was a bit steep at first, but it’s worth every penny once you feel how well built these devices are and start using them. No regrets at all.

I bought this about 2 years ago and thought I’d write an honest review seeing as my review will go towards a prize-draw so hopefully I can get the MX keyboard as well. The good:Excellent ergonomics: Never felt fatigue using this mouse. The shape is simply perfect. I share this mouse with my wife who is more than a foot shorter then me and her small hands find it just as ergonomic so big tick for workaholics.Reliable: Not once did I have an issue where this mouse did not connect to a device! I have used it on laminated wood, transparent glass, and a pleather desk mat - all with reliable and smooth usage. The software has always been easy to find and install when I’ve upgraded/changed to new devices and provided excellent customisation.Inputs: The number of inputs ... Big big plus is the ability to set software-specific input settings so you can have your most common tools set to your preferred button and have more general OS functions mapped to others.Software: Aside from the aforementioned advantages, the software also allows for more fine-tuning, e.g., in Mac I can have the scrolling direction different to the touch pad which is an absolute must! You can also change DPI and other nerdy stuff.Battery life: Exceptional. This thing goes for months on single charge. And fact that it is USB-C means you just plug it in at the end of the work day when it tells you the battery is low and you’re good to go for another few weeks/months.Overall build: Solid piece of hardware that has not skipped a beat. Still feels weighty and well-built after 2 years of daily use. No scratches except on the rubber shoes which are on the bottom and to be expected. My kids have even dropped it a few times and still working as new.The bad:Some features are a bit of a gimmick that I didn’t use past 2 weeks. Namely the continuity feature.as a Mac user, it’s redundant.Gaming. Hopeless for gaming. Don’t bother playing games with this mouse. It’s too heavy. Perfect for professional use but stupid for gamers. A lightweight wired mouse is far better if you take gaming seriously.

This review is for Logitech MX Master 3S for Mac Wireless Mouse.Out of the box, as expected, it easily paired with the Mac. And then after a press of the button on the bottom of the mouse, it took only seconds to pair the mouse with a PC as well. Supposedly, the mouse could be paired with a 3rd computer (the button on the bottom has 3 settings.)If you need to move the mouse between 2 computers frequently, you may find annoying having to flip the mouse over to push that button, and may have to weigh that against having 2 mice ( I need to move the mouse between the 2 computers very infrequently, so I much prefer having a single very good mouse.)Using this mouse, I can move the cursor on the screen in a much more precise way than I could with the apple mouse I got ... It is much bigger/bulkier than the Apple, but I am very comfortable using it, so I am keeping the 5th star on the review.

Recently I had a really bad injury in my left hand that forbids me to use it, so I was looking for a mouse that could help me to reach back the level of productivity that I had. MoreRecently I had a really bad injury in my left hand that forbids me to use it, so I was looking for a mouse that could help me to reach back the level of productivity that I had. I am an internationally trained architect, and I specifically use SketchUp among other 3D software for crafting my designs. So, if you are familiar with this software, you´ll know you use the left hand A LOT!Finding the right cost-effective mouse could be a tricky task nowadays, especially if you consider the tons of videos and useless self-promoting reviews you can find on the internet. So, what can you do? I needed a mouse quickly, so I went for the old reliable move: search on Amazon for the mouse with the best reviews and with a decent quantity of buyers. I found a broad spectrum of companies, like Razer, Corsair, Microsoft, Logitech, Kensington, and so many more. Still, I wasn't sure enough. I´m old school, so It´s hard for me to choose something if I haven't tried it first. Thus, I decided to go to Best Buy.The guys at BB couldn't give me good advice because this kind of buy depends on so many factors and preferences. It´s like buying a toothbrush, it is so personal. So I had to make a decision and did not know where to begin with, so I followed my gut and took the risk for the MX Master 3S.The features of this mouse surprised me. I mean, one thing is reading about it and another thing is experiencing it. Let´s begin with ergonomics. The mouse is perfectly designed to match the form and natural position of your hand, so you can work for hours effortlessly. One of the most impressive features is that your thumb has a place to rest within the mouse shape. The mouse has a thin side fin to hold your thumb and with a little bit of pressure, that side fin works also as a customizable button. You don´t need to change your thumb´s position, just put some pressure and ´click´.Moving forward with the thumb side, right above the fin you´ll find two perfectly shaped customizable side buttons. They are not too little to pass unnoticed, nor too big to feel uncomfortable, they are just the perfect size. You can easily find them and differentiate them without even watching.Above those two buttons, it comes the horizontal scroll, which is amazing because it gives you that great feature of a tracking pad or a magic mouse, but from a different and more comfortable angle. All controlled by your thumb. The vertical scroll has two speeds, which I found to be a fantastic feature too. It gives you speed when you require it, or control when you are working with zoomed things. Depending on what you need or prefer, this mouse got you covered. You can easily change modes with a tiny button below the scroll.Another great feature is the the clicking sound. For me it´s like having a golden gun with a silencer. It feels so smooth, fancy and precise. It´s just perfect!Last but not least, the fabrication materials. The main surface of the mouse that touches your palm has a wonderful flat black matte color with a texture that resembles the lines of a zeppelin. That texture begins at the side fin and fades away once it reaches the ridge of the mouse. The clicking buttons have a balanced black satin color that creates enough contrast for the eye and the fingers to differentiate them.I almost forgot. Logitech has a super easy app for setting your preferences on the mouse for virtually any application on your computer, even when using your web browser. It means that your mouse will behave differently in any desired scenario, allowing you to make the most of it. For me, it is the king of productivity. This mouse turned out to be more than I expected. It is the perfect balance between simplicity, productivity, and exquisiteness. I would recommend this mouse with my eyes closed. It is the best!
Excellent mouse. Smooth, quick, programmable buttons. Nothing major, but a neat thing to have on the mouse. For those with the Mac mouse issue, I have a 2023 Mac mini with M2 chip, running Sonoma 14.3.1This mouse is a life saver for working.I thought I had a virus or malware or something was wrong, after running every scan and trying all the "fixes" I could find online, it turns it was my old mouse a Logitech M705 (which was a replacement I recently purchased). Any mouse with a receiver was not working.Get this mouse if that is your issue, it works great!!!!!
This is my third Logitech MX Master mouse. i first bought the MX Master mouse and then the 3S came out and I bought that one. The S means it is 'silent' when you click the mouse buttons. Although it isn't completely silent, it is MUCH quieter than the MX Master 3. I use a MacBook Pro for work and personal use, I configured the Logi Options+ and used a keyboard shortcut mapped to the left and right buttons below the mouse wheel to switch between full-screen apps and it does it flawlessly allowing for better productivity. I bought this mouse after getting my new MacBook Pro M2 Max because of the color scheme. The scrolling and pointer speeds can be adjusted much higher for ease of use and not having to move the mouse much.My only complaint about this mouse is the software. After rebooting my computer, I have to wait until I finish logging in and all the apps to open up before the custom settings are applied. I have the pointer speed set at 6700 DPI so I don't have to move the mouse as much and the shortcuts between full-screen apps takes a bit to load. Every now and then the custom settings will stop working during use, sometimes I can turn the mouse off and on and then close Logi Options+ and re-open it and that will solve it, a few times I have had to reboot the computer to make it work. It can be mapped to 3 devices using the button on the bottom. This is a device I would pay full price for if I had to because of how much it increases my productivity. It feels natural to use this mouse the way it is constructed and you don't have to move your fingers very far to access all the buttons. I don't use the gestures feature at all so I can't comment on that. I work in IT as a Systems Engineer and do software development as well, and this mouse makes all the difference in the world. Don't think about buying this mouse, just buy it! I have the non-Mac version mouse as well and the only difference is the color, the Mac version matches the Space Gray MacBook Pro.

The MX Master 3S is meticulously contoured to fit the natural shape of your hand. As someone who spends hours on end at the computer, having a mouse that supports my hand and wrist is crucial. The well-thought-out design allows my palm to rest comfortably, reducing strain and preventing fatigue even after prolonged use. The thumb rest is perfectly positioned, providing additional support and comfort. The ultrafast scrolling feature is another highlight. Whether I'm browsing through lengthy documents or scrolling through web pages, the precision and speed of the scroll wheel are unmatched. The MagSpeed Electromagnetic scrolling is incredibly smooth and silent, making the whole experience seamless and efficient. You can easily switch between ratchet and hyper-fast scrolling modes, which is a fantastic addition for different types of tasks.Connecting the MX Master 3S to my Mac was effortless. The Bluetooth connectivity is robust and reliable, with no lag or dropouts. The mouse's performance is top-notch, with accurate and responsive tracking on various surfaces. The laser sensor ensures precise movements, making it ideal for detailed graphic design work or gaming. The Logitech Options software allows for extensive customization, tailoring the mouse's buttons and functions to suit your workflow perfectly. Whether you need specific shortcuts for your applications or want to adjust the sensitivity, the software provides all the necessary tools to optimize your experience.Lastly, the battery life is exceptional. A full charge lasts for weeks, and even a quick charge can provide hours of use. This reliability means I don't have to worry about the mouse dying in the middle of an important task.In conclusion, the Logitech MX Master 3S for Mac is an outstanding investment for anyone seeking a high-quality, ergonomic, and versatile mouse. Its superior build, comfortable design, and advanced features make it a must-have accessory for Mac users. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their productivity and comfort!
Stylish mouse with good functionality and decent battery life.A usb adapter is not included, which seems criminal for a $100 device (there is a PC model with it included but, you cannot get this color). It is bluetooth and can be used with any device including non Mac devices. It is a beautiful mouse and the rollers are useful. I find it comfortable with one complaint. It varies by person but it feels very heavy. I prefer light mice for less moving effort and quicker responses. It's not to say its heavy but, compared to the Logitech vertical mouse it weighs much more. They could have even given it removable weights at this price point.Aside from that, the sensor on the mouse is excellent and works on a variety of surfaces. For enhanced tracking you can enable the 8k sensor, which helps with tracking on high resolutions displays (including MacBook pros). The mouse should really be priced at 69.99 or less. The ultrafast scrolling has existed for years on Logitechs gaming mice and other than some metal scrollers, you're not paying for much else.If you just need a good mouse and don't need any specific features this one offers, like using the mouse on glass or needing a side scroller, I would say save your money and look elsewhere. Its not a bad product though.
If you are a creative, I believe the only reason not to get this mouse is if you prefer a trackball. This has been my favorite conventional mouse for both 2D and 3D design work.I have owned every version of the MX Master since it was introduced, and there are several improvements in this version I really enjoy. One is the doubled resolution (from 400 to 800 dpi). The reduced sound of clicks is also nice.Scroll WheelOne of my favorite features is the weighted wheel that lets you switch between incremental or free-spinning scrolling. You can also set it to a hybrid mode which switches from incremental to free when you give the wheel a harder spin. The threshold for this switch can also be adjusted in the Logitech software.Gesture ButtonsControlling media, ... It also makes a huge difference when editing video and audio.ErgonomicsI prefer the ergonomics of the MX Master over any other conventional mouse I’ve used.Battery LifeThis mouse lasts a lot longer than you would expect it to and also works while charging.ConclusionLogitech made a solid improvement on a mouse that was already the best (conventional) option for creative workflows.
This has 7 buttons and 2 scrollwheels, all programmable !The horizontal scrollwheel works like magic and can be used for different actions in different apps. This one has an electromagnetic centre scroll wheel which is just insanely fast and butter smooth ! Best out there definitely. Also all the navigation gestures can be mapped to the thumb button and you have all the magic mouse functionality right there. The ease with which you can map the different buttons on this one using the Logic Options software (fully compatible with MacOS) is just great ! You can make it your very personal workhorse with the mapping you want on the side buttons, scroll click, thumb click and it's gestures.Even without all these button functionalities, this is a high (8k) dpi mouse ... No other mouse comes even close !
