I have come to expect nothing but high quality from Logitech when it comes to mice and keyboards, and the Pop Combo definitely delivers. The Pop Combo is a keyboard and mouse combo that features bluetooth connectivity, connections for up to 3 devices, customizable keys, and a bold design. I really appreciate that Logitech has embraced the more colorful and bold side of design. It used to be that you could only get colorful keyboards if you went with a gaming keyboard. But it's nice to see something other than generic black or white that looks like every other business oriented keyboard out there. I specifically have the lilac version of the combo and it looks fantastic. And it will differ depending on what you are connecting to. Once connected, you are good to go, or you can download the Logitech software where you can customize a few keys on the keyboard as well as the buttons on the mouse. Using the keyboard feels really nice. The keys are contoured and are very soft feeling, more like a laptop keyboard. This is not a mechanical keyboard with clicky keys like the other Pop keyboards. It's worth mentioning that this is a ten-key-less keyboard, so there is no number pad, which was disappointing for me, because I was going to use this as my work keyboard, but I absolutely need a number pad. So just keep that in mind if it is something you need. The mouse was a little small for my hands. I appreciate that it is symmetrical, so can be used in either the left or right hand. That is something my wife is always looking for, because left handed mice are not super common. However, with my larger hands, the mouse wasn't very comfortable to use for longer periods. I'm sure it would be fine for most people, but if you have larger than average hands, just keep that in mind. Overall I am very satisfied with the Pop Icon Combo. It is the exact kind of high quality product I have come to expect from Logitech. The mouse is a bit small for me personally, and I miss the number pad, but those are not enough to keep me from giving it 5 stars and a glowing recommendation.

The keys are about as raised as you would find on a basic laptop. There are no "feet" on the bottom to flip down so as to elevate the keyboard at an angle. However, the keyboard is 'angled' a bit, and there are round rubberized cushions on the bottom which help to keep it securely in place on your desk, tabletop, etc.The mouse is just the right size for my lady hand, but my husband tried using it and said that the mouse felt comfortable for him, as well. Plus, the button clicks and wheel scroll of the mouse are whisper quiet, too. This Pop Icon Combo - keyboard and mouse - set is pretty sweet. It's simple to use, looks great, and is of the above-average quality I've come to expect from Logitech. Recommend.

There is also a scroll wheel, and an emoji button located under the scroll wheel. Personally, I have absolutely no use for the emoji button as I don’t use my mouse when texting…Fortunately, you can download the Logi+ software and someday you may be able to customize the button, just not at the time of this writing. With the software, you are also able to adjust the pointer speed of the mouse.Overall, the Logitech Pop Icon combo isn’t trying to reinvent the wheel, its simply offering an easy solution for a keyboard and mouse combo that can be used on both PC and Mac all while giving it a little color and flair. I think Logitech did a good job at achieving that.
This keyboard and mouse combination feels very solid. HOwever there is a major problem: I was unable to use the Logitech Options+ for the keyboard because try as I might, there was no way to get this softeware to discover the keyboard was even connected although the keyboard worked fine operationally. The mouse and keyboard were very easy to install using Bluetooth on my computer. I was impressed with the feel of the keys which have a concave design. This keyboard and mouse are less audible by design; the mouse is actually silent which I found to be a great feature at times. If you are looking for an audible click from a mouse, then this is not your keyboard. There are quite a few technology goodies built into this keyboard and the mouse. I'll mention a few of them but you do have to study the manual to learn more if needed. This keyboard has 12 Fxx keys that are useful. I'm using the keyboard in Bluetooth mode. The F2 key is used to tell the keyboard to pair in Bluetooth mode. You will need to hold the key for 3 seconds to pair it. PF6 brings up a microphone, PF8 is your 'print screen key' to copy the screen. You also have speaker controls, etc. The point is this is a very well thought out layout. You must install the LOGI Options+ software which allows you to setup many added facilities for both the keyboard and mouse. This software worked fine for the POP mouse, but as I mentioned before, it was unable to discover the connected POP keyboard, so Logitech has a bug in the software is my conclusion - not good. One of the cool mouse features is that you can pair the mouse with up to three devices and switch between them. You can explore other features for the mouse using the software. Both the mouse and keyboard are Logitech BOLT USB receiver compatible, but my package did not include the BOLT USB receiver. If you are looking for a generic type keyboard this one will work, however if you do want to take advantage of the very useful 'Smart Actions' enabled by the software, then I cannot recommend this keyboard which comes as a combo with both the mouse and keyboard
It's kind of crazy to think about how long Logitech has been making keyboards and mice, and that in spite of that they're still somehow finding ways to make cool new products in those categories. That can't be easy, per se. And what's nice about that is that when they do something like make a purple keyboard that has CLEARLY been created with an emphasis on form and style over function and typing precision... you can still be confident that you're getting a *good* keyboard that has been created with an emphasis on form and fuction. And that's very much the case here. So, since you could buy any number of other very good logitech keyboards that aren't purple I suppose the real question with this one is if the design is a positive or a negative. And that's very much the case here. So, since you could buy any number of other very good logitech keyboards that aren't purple I suppose the real question with this one is if the design is a positive or a negative. Overall, I think it's a positive. I know there's a whole community of folks who are very much into their keyboards. I don't think those folks are probably going for the Pop Icon, but... if you're not interested in going that far with things but still want something that looks cool and doesn't cost an arm and a leg then Logitech has you covered here. And I appreciate that! First and foremost, I think the color looks great. It'll work in your daughter's room, living room, or home office no problem. There's a pale purple on top and a very vibrant purple on the bottom. The keys are mostly a creamy white and I really like the shape of them. They just look cool. I even like the Logi logo on the space bar. The backspace key is huge and all the other keys are in a pretty standard, easy to reach layout. Essentially, my feeling is that if you like the look of this in the photos you will not be disappointed by the look in real life.On the function front, I have no big complaints. The key travel is good, I can type very fast with minimal errors on this keyboard, and there are few shortcuts on the function row like show desktop, search, emoji, etc. that are practical and super useful when paired with a device like an iPad. I haven't talked about the mouse yet, but... well, it's a mouse and it works perfectly well and looks exactly like it does in the photos. It's comfy. The scroll wheel has a soft rubbery feel, there's a tacticle click when you scroll, and you can click down on the wheel itself, as well as the center piece that surrounds the wheel. Together, they make up a really great pair at a very good price that looks different and nice compared to most keyboards you could just buy off the shelf of a brick and mortar store. Why 4 stars though? Well, I don't love the Logi Options software. Part of the marketing for this keyboard is the ability to customize buttons and add smart actions, macros, etc. And all of that stuff *is* possible... but you need the Log Options+ app to do that, and it's only available on Mac or Windows. Why is there no phone or tablet version of this app?? Again, this combo is just screaming to be paired with an iPad and yet those users are shut out from this piece of Logitech's software solution. It doesn't make a ton of sense to me. Fortunately, I do have a Mac so I was able to pair it to that device and poke around with things. The app itself is well designed and is also where you'll get any firmware updates for the keyboard. But I again I wish there was a little more thought given to the tablet user. See those four dark purple keys on the right of the keyboard? I tried mapping the Home key to the minimize window function and could not get that action to work on either the Mac or my iPad. User error perhaps, but I didn't have the same issue getting it to map to something like mute volume. There are some useful options the app suggests that could be explored (like opening ChatGPT), but I'd love to see a little more thought given to this part of the process overall. It seems like there ought to be a layout option you could select that would be a bit more specific to certain devices like tablets. All in all, I don't think this is a huge issue given that most buyers of this product will likely be all but perfectly content with the default mapping for this keyboard. It's easy to pair to three devices and switch between them, it's easy to use, it works well, and it looks cool. There's really nothing here that would make me not want to recommend it to anyone who likes the look of it. Very happy overall.
I have owned dozens of different Logitech products over the years and you really can't go wrong with them. The Logitech POP Icon Combo in Lilac looks great, works well, and has some really handy features.Set up was a breeze. I appreciate that Logitech includes pre-installed batteries. Changing the batteries should also be really easy (they used magnets on the mouse battery compartment and the keyboard can be opened with a fingernail). The POP combo supports Bluetooth connections (no USB receiver) with 3 devices. I linked them to my Mac Book Pro, iPad Pro, and Windows 11 Home laptop. Every device recognized the POP combo as soon I put them in pair mode (just hold down one of the 3 device buttons on the keyboard or the switch device button on the bottom of the mouse until the Bluetooth light starts to blink fast). The dedicated keyboard and mouse buttons also make swapping between each of my devices easy.I also downloaded the Logi Options+ app to see what customizations were available for my mouse and keyboard (the app worked well on both my Mac and PC). The Logi Options+ app has a tutorial of device features/settings, lets you change button short cuts, create custom actions, and offers advanced features like smart device switching. The design of the POP Icon combo is eye catching and functional. I love the lilac and white color combination. On the keyboard, the white keys stand out against the purple and a darker purple highlights the 4 multifunction buttons. The multifunction buttons can be used as short cuts or the traditional Home, End, and Page Up/Down. Key size, spacing, travel, and effort are good (especially considering the space efficient design). Logitech did not forget Mac users; Command and Option button labels are included under the Windows Start and Alt labels. The mouse buttons are really quiet (no annoying loud click) and I love the little short cut button under the scroll wheel (customizable but set as a fun Emoji/GIF launcher by default). The mouse scroll wheel has subtle detents and also functions as a customizable button (I have mine set to switch apps/task).
I’ve always enjoyed Logi devices, particularly their mice. Also, as a professional who is typing on a computer virtually everyday, the typing experience matters to me. I use several different keyboards (in different locations) opting for a mechanical keyboard experience. To me, keyboards and mice are very personal devices that should not only be functional, enjoyable, and fun - vs. a typical black keyboard with QWERTY layout that you’ll find packaged in a desktop PC. The Logi POP Icon manages to strike a good balance of price, typing experience, and personality. It’s not the best keyboard/mouse I’ve ever used - I don’t think anyone expects it to be - but it brings enough to the table to warrant your consideration.DESIGN AND USEFirst and foremost, the design is ... MoreI’ve always enjoyed Logi devices, particularly their mice. It’s not the best keyboard/mouse I’ve ever used - I don’t think anyone expects it to be - but it brings enough to the table to warrant your consideration.DESIGN AND USEFirst and foremost, the design is what makes this keyboard stand a part. Mine is a light purple, lilac, color. And I really enjoy it. Again, it’s different. But that’s all a matter of personal preference. Both the mouse and keyboard do have a “plasticky” feel to them. I don’t want to call it a “cheap” feel, because I still think they’re high quality, but there’s no premium materials or metal here. For the keyboard, the keycaps are concave shape with a low profile. While they don’t “click” like my mechanical keyboard, they have a satisfying amount of give that’s enjoyable to use. It’s described as silent, and much like the Logi Master series keyboards, they are. In fact, it’s a very similar typing experience compared to the Master MX keyboard, albeit the materials used are a little different. If you have people next to you, they won’t hear you typing away. I’m not sure what percentage keyboard you’d call it, but there’s no number pad which is a little bit of a downer to me, I prefer a dedicated number pad but that’s personal preference. The “home” end” “pg up” and “pg dn” buttons are all on the right side placed vertically which is a little different than I’m accustomed to, but it took little time to get adjusted. And there’s lots of action buttons on your F buttons, including changing devices, activating speech services, mute, volume up and down. All of which are appreciated. The main downside, and likely a cost cutting measure, is that the keys aren’t backlit. That could be a deal breaker for some. The mouse is a pebble shape, like the keyboard it feels a bit plasticky but is otherwise comfortable to use. Of course, it’s hard using it when I’m accustomed to the Master MX3 mouse, but it’s nonetheless easy to use and responsive. There’s the standard power slider on the bottom, button to switch between 3 different devices, there’s the left/right click, wheel, and then there’s an action button that you can program within the Logi Plus app. By default it opens up an “emoji” panel, which isn’t of much use to me, but that could be because of my age. Like the keyboard keys, it’s silent when clicking and very responsive. The one missing piece for me, is no side buttons (which I use almost exclusively when navigating the web, going backwards a page and forward).SETUP/BATTERY LIFESetup is easy, assuming your device has Bluetooth. Most do, but my work desktop for example doesn’t. So check that before buying. If you don’t have Bluetooth you can still connect it with the Logi Bolt USB adapter, but that’s NOT included in the package. It would have been nice if Logitech could have thrown that in there - but I’m assuming it’s rarely a problem given the ubiquitousness of Bluetooth nowadays.Once I pulled out the battery tabs, my Windows 11 desktop immediately recognized them and paired up. It was flawless. Do add another computer, you simply hit the second or third device option (there’s one on the keyboard and mouse) and then pair it through another device’s Bluetooth settings. They have a wide range of compatibility given that they have Bluetooth. They take triple A batteries which is nice, except I prefer not to waste batteries and wish they had a rechargeable battery. They’re rated at 36 month battery life (for the keyboard) and 24 months (for the mouse). This does alleviate some concerns of needing to have batteries at your disposal.LOGI PLUS SOFTWAREThis is the real magic of any Logi device, and that applies to the POP Icon as well. You don’t have to download the software, but it allows you to customize hot buttons. For example, you can change the button on the mouse to do more than bring up the emoji menu. There’s a ton of preset options, like opening the calculator or a particular program, but you can also create AI based shortcuts to do whatever you like. Say you want to quickly open several programs, you can program it to do that. It also has program specific actions. For example, while on Zoom, the action button on the mouse will mute/unmute your microphone. These take a little practice to figure out what works best for you, but if you invest a little thought and time into it, you can really make things easier and maximize your efficiency. And the best part is that it’s pretty intuitive to setup (some programs can be daunting in that regard).CONCLUSIONIf you are looking for a keyboard and mouse that has some personality without breaking the bank for an expensive mechanical RGB device, this is a solid option. While the lack of backlighting could be a dealbreaker, it’s a good value proposition and the Logi Plus software and ability to assign actions makes up some of the difference. And you can trust the Logi brand.
Logitech POP Icon Combo (Lilac) is a boxed set of keyboard and mouse. After working for months on a full size keyboard that is strictly business, it’s a treat to have a compact wireless keyboard under hand that has a more playful suite of customizations. And they are pretty easy to achieve. The standout feature is the dedicated EMOJI keys. That said the included mouse also has an Emoji Quick Access button, that brings up the entire menu of Emojis plus every imaginable symbol. I found calling them up with an assignable button on the mouse more useful to me. The companion mouse with its own easily accessed shortcut button can do many other tricks with its broad customization providing even more flexibility for me.SETUP is standard Bluetooth device connection or I can choose to use a LOGI Bolt wireless device, but there is not one included in this kit. These connected devices notify with onscreen icons when the Caps Lock is on or low battery levels. UNIQUE FUNCTION keys are lines up along the edge of the keyboard and assigned to EMOJIs. These are easily popped off as they are all mechanical KEYS. These substitute keys (should be) available for purchase but I had no luck finding them. After my initial setup and customization, my keyboard still works perfectly, but it has disappeared from the Logi Options+ App. I’ve been working with Logitech support to get back my keyboard customization capability, with little luck so far. My mouse has always been accessible on the App. It appears to be a unique issue for me, with no evidence anyone else has had this problem.PERFORMANCE: I’ve had so many keyboards over the years going all the way back to my first electric typewriter. Yep, I’m old. This new Logi combination has a feel that is both nostalgic and comfortable in a way that has eliminated many of my all too frequent mistypes on my far more elaborate keyboards. I prefer the longer travel of the keys and the more distinct key edges on these more heavily contoured keys. Maybe I’m an outlier here, but this improved my still crude typing skills (a daring word choice).I’m connected to my Mac Pro M1 which easily and quickly recognized both Logi devices. With an iPad and a PC desktop it would be very tempting to test this Logi POP Icon on my iPad or PC, so I did. There are a total of 3 channels for both the keyboard and mouse letting me switch between computers (and tablet) without anything other than a press on Function Keys 1,2, or 3 which are already enabled on the keyboard. Both keys also serve as the bluetooth activation keys if just turning on the devices didn’t allow for a connection. What about the changing operating systems and their specific system keys? The keyboard key tops show both MacOS and PC functions, even if a bit cramped. The mouse employs a feature called “Flow” which does this automatically.I’m not much of an Emoji user compared to younger generations. But it sure got easier. There are no Emoji keys in the box so we need to wait for Logitech to make them available for separate purchase. I’m unable to reassign keys right now until I sort out my Log Options+ App issues. Meanwhile, the mouse special function button calls up the entire menu of Emojis and symbols that are on my computer, so I’m OK. But there are many other customization options which I had an opportunity to view prior to my lost access.SUMMARY: I’m thoroughly enjoying a keyboard that helps me type better, facilitates me using multiple devices with no wire management, and takes up less armchair or desktop real estate. The mouse brings more useful functions and it accepts my wide ranging selection of surfaces to glide over. I’m having fun with these useful tools. I need to temper my enthusiasm until I can easily customize my my configurations which is still a problem for me.
