The software for this devise wanted to take over all movements in my MacBook Pro computer. The software is invasive and no welcomed. The BluTooth interface worked well for a Mac Presentation slide show. That was seamless. The software wanting to take total control of the computer was not welcomed. It’s all uninstalled as the reach of this program was not welcomed.

The receiver was very erratic. Sometimes it changed the slide, other times it did not. Good thing I rehearsed. I ran out to Staples and bought the cheaper model of the logitech clicker and it worked flawlessly for my presentation.

Just the basics. No unnecessary buttons or functions. Nice and simple. Your thumb naturally finds the forward button and resta on it, so you don't have to keep looking at the remote. Laser pointer is nice and bright, and reliable. You can use either USB wireless or Bluetooth, which makes this even more versatile. Highly recommended!

It was used with a 2017 MacBook Pro at an event with about 10 presenters. I have used multiple previous variations of Logitech presentation remotes, but this doesn't live up to my expectations. The laser is weak, though the buttons are nice. The largest problem is there is no battery indicator. The little LED will still light up so it seems like the device is working even when the batteries are too low to actually power the clicker properly. There should be some basic sensor built in to allow the LED to change to amber when the batteries are low and red when out.
Outstanding ease and use! Large button to forward slides is ergonomically sound and comfortable. Beware it becomes an easy resting spot for your thumb / finger and the 2nd push (blanks the screen) happens often if you are not paying attention.
This remote works really well but I find that it doesn’t have a great range. If you are within 10 or so feet it works really well. I have also had a little problem with it sort of going to sleep if I don’t use it for a long period of time during the presentation then it jumps ahead a few slides.
Plug and play worked immediately and as expected. Clicker fits nicely in the palm and buttons function as expected. The built in USB receiver holder is super nice and it’s easy to store and carry around in any bag. Software features to customize the buttons when held are handy.
I needed to replace a clicker that had become unreliable. I was expecting a replacement to cost about half of what this one does, but decided to spend the extra $ because it's important to have one that will work reliably for my weekly presentations. Satisfied overall. Would have given 5 stars if more affordable price.
I'll be honest, I purchased this mainly because it was the least costly unit that appeared worthy of trust. Opening the package, I had a concern: were was the little USB interface I needed to plug into my computer? And then what I saw was brilliant. The interface has its own little nest within the clicker, so that it need never be lost. Needlessly the unit worked flawlessly for my presentation and I'm certainly glad I purchased it.
