Purchased this compact keyboard and mouse combo to replace my Surface keypad which has sadly got to its use by date, although the tablet itself, 3 yrs on, still has life and guts. As a 'qwerty' trained touch typist I find it easy and efficient and the compact size also works with my tablet. I have always been frustrated by the touch pad mouse on laptop/tablet keyboards and loved going back to a mouse. Maybe I'm just an old fashioned gal. The keys are light to the touch and easy to read. I would recommend it to anyone who requires a compact keyboard and mouse for a tablet or PC. I purchased the white/red combo but the black/yellow would be just as good and you can't beat the price.

After 8 years the keyboard died!

I bought two of these - a black and a white one in 2014. Compact and very effective. I primarily got it to complement my notebook computer without taking up a huge amount of desk space. Can be easily taken on the road. Not as compact as my folding Stowaway Bluetooth when folded but still smaller than the Stowaway when opened out. Good quality key feel. F keys work well. No problems until last night when the keyboard stopped working. On inspection one of the batteries had leaked. Cleaned it up etc but no luck. It was dead. The mouse still works fine. So I had to break out the black one! :^) Its not as nice but will not show up the dirt as much as the white one. Highly recommended unless you use the numeric keypad a lot. Couldn't recommend it more

I've been using this set daily for a few years now and it still works great! The only issue I've had with it is that sometimes the keyboard lags while gaming. Other than that it's been perfect, comfortable to use and the design is cute and unique.

Fine at first

I've probably been using this combo about a year or less now and it's been great up until the past week or so. The mouse is jumpy and not responding well. I thought it must be the batteries but nope - new batteries did not fix it, and I see from other reviews this seems to be happening to others. Very frustrating trying to get through whole work days with it so I'll be heading out to get a new mouse or combo today.

Good for the price

I bought this for my boy who will use for his raspberry pi board. This combo is cheaper than official raspberry pi wired keyboard and mouse set and it has the same theme white and red of the raspberry pi. Keyboard is not responsive at the first press, but it will become more responsive at the next key press. I guess it is the secret to save energy when on idle mode. Keyboard is small and hence it is well suited to kid. Numpad is useless in my point of view as it makes your hands shift to left and I seldom use it at daily work. So chopping out the numpad is a good point. Mouse is also laggy, but it is fine if you don't use it for playing game.

Not good if you're a touch typist - very stiff key

I bought this about a month ago. The keys on the keyboard are very very stiff, needs a lot of effort to press them. I'm a touch typist and this slows down my typing quite significantly, caused mistakes. Mouse pointer goes crazy at times as though someone has taken control of my mouse! I'd lose control of for about 5-10 secs. Sometimes, whatever I type takes a few seconds to appear, when the cursor freezes.

Perfect package

I brought this recently and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The keyboard is very compact (perfect for using with my surface) yet feels really nice to type on. Same thing with the mouse, feels great and works smoothly. Overall a very high quality feel to the entire package. Only complaint is that the keyboard itself does not have an off switch, hence the 4 star review. Plus, its worth mentioning that it looks very stylish.

Size is right but the build and ergonomics awful

I bought gthis as it seeme dto be the only wirelss keyopboard mnouse combo available in the small form factor with only one receoiver saving an extra USb socket. But after a solid few months use, there are alot of bugbears, such as the sensitive left CTRL key that registers when your palm is typing making everything align right when you type R. But the worse part is that the receiver seems to disconnect frequently rendering the mouse inoperable, with the need to pull the receiver out and pop it back in again. All ads up to a useless piece of plastic when you need a mouse combo that works!!

The reasoning behind this purchase was that I was using a bluetooth connected keyboard, however it would at times have difficultly connecting. Decal: Not a huge fan of the lines in the top left corner, but the yellow accent on the keys is a nice touch if using it in low-light situations; there's no need for having backlit keys. Connection: Switching to this combo, I have found the connection with the Unifying receiver to be solid and hasn't dropped out once. It connected first time without any issues and no changes to settings on my end. Build: The keyboard is a solid unit; the overall size is perfect and the keys feels just right nicely sized and feels quite smooth to the touch. I do like how Logitech have shifted the Home and End keys to be activated by the Fn + Left or Right cursor keys respectively; very intuitive. My only issue is that the keyboard is quite thick, and if you are used to using the feet to raise the keyboard, you may find that the keyboard sits too high for you. The mouse build is another story; it feels very light, but it doesn't feel completely flimsy. I cannot comment on the use of this mouse as I am not using it. Overall: A solid combo which provides great response and value for money.

Why So Cheap??

I didn't look at the size when I ordered this & assumed it was a normal size keyboard. When it was delivered & I was looking at this very little box, I thought keyboards don't come that small do they? I didn't think I was going to like it but 6 months later I love it. The function keys all work great. You cant miss seeing anything with the red print & markings on a white background. No where has the red print faded or lifted & I have had $200 one's do that within 3 months & got told when I complained that it was normal wear & tear. I have arthritis & I found that not having to extend my fingers so much to hit the keys means I can use it longer. So far I cant think of one negative thing to say about it.
