The product is very good for its price. Sound quality is better than most of this price range. I am using the speaker in my bedroom, so, volume is not a problem. I wouldn't recommend the speaker for competitive gaming as it won't provide surround sound.Recommendation: I would recommend the z333 for better volume from the satellite speakers. But if you can, go for z600 series. Handling: I'm giving this a 4 star because the box was damaged. I do want the box to be intact for storage.

Best Little Speaker System EVER for the price!!!

This is about the fourth time I've purchased this exact product. The reason? I hooked up one to the TV in the playhouse to have much better sound than with the TV alone. I also hooked one up to my TV in the basement in the playroom, to have much better sound. I have sound bars on my two main TVs. I first got the idea because my boss had this speaker system on the computer at work and it sounded so good that I thought I would try it for my tv and computer purposes. DO NOT BUY!

Wasn’t the right product. No external aux. Can’t control bass. Overall sucks. If the aux break you lose the whole 70$. Is not loud. My phone speaker is louder, only adds a small thump of bass. Buy the 400 series. This is NOT the 400. Same price but does not do the same. You are paying for nothing extra! DO NOT BUY! DO NOT BUY! DO NOT BUY! Get the 400 series, same price more bass and more control over sound!

Edifier beats Logitech

I purchased this to replace a Logitech Z323 2.1 system that basically "died" after about 5 years of use with a kitchen TV. Audio would cut in and out at random. Despite my years of tech skills, nothing fixed the problem. I hated to lose it because it had excellent bass, midrange and tweeter sound, but new ones are no longer available anywhere and I did not want another one that might end up the same way.Unlike the Logitech 2.1 speaker system I purchased years ago that was around the same price, this Z313 lacks the deep bass I expected. If you're looking for decent sound at an affordable price, this is a good choice.

Z313 system that I have now is a replacement because the first set I ordered was defective. The wiring in the satellite speakers sent all the sound to the left speaker and none to the right speaker. However, the replacement set works very well. The sub woofer could be a little stronger as could the satellite speakers, but, for the price, they are very nice speakers. The volume control makes it much easier to adjust the volume, as I don't have to reach all the way to one of the speakers to do that which is common with many lower end speaker sets. These are not going to give the same quality of sound as a higher priced set, but if you're looking for decent sound at an affordable price, this is a good choice.

Loud enough for my master bedroom

I only bought this sound system because I bought a monitor and the built on speaker wasn’t loud or loud enough so I knew I had to buy one to connect for my computer. I read all the reviews online on which one to get. I’m glad I went with this one because it is loud enough for my master bedroom when I’m in the bathroom getting ready I can play music on YouTube. So it definitely does the job. I wished they made them in different colors. It’s always either black wire or silver. The thing is I have a color theme and it’s beige in color so the black speakers don’t match. My keyboard is beige my mouse pad and mouse is beige. My chair is beige and my computer table is white. It would be fun if Dell had color choices in the future!

Refurbished but fine

I got these to replace my old, much nicer, computer speakers. I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sound, including the bass. They are easy to install, but they don't come with any special software that might offer more options for adjusting the bass and treble. My system picked them up and they work fine with the legacy sound drivers. You can get plenty of volume and so far I don't notice vibration or static. I think they are a good deal.

Terrible

The worst product I've ever purchased. Worse than 15 year old car speakers, my 20 year old previous speaker system, my phone speakers and the free USB speakers I received at a conference. The sound quality is so bad it feels deliberate. Wanted better speakers than desktop speakers

I bought Restored Logitech Z313 2.1 Multimedia Speaker System with Subwoofer for less than $40. Now I have been playing music on them for 6 weeks, almost whole day every day. They sound so much better than the speakers which came with desktop computer. I use Music Bee software to play my MP3 library of 200 favorite music. The software plays all MP3 files one after another automatically. Enjoying this a lot.
