Good but the film rewind gets very stuck

Gotta love the manual speed control and the ability to shoot up to 144 frames to make your movie. Will be using this for b-roll in our upcoming remake of Gone With the Wind.

This is a simple and entertaining camera for those of us that have either a nostalgia for our digital free childhood hobbies, or Lomography enthusiasts. It is reasonably priced and does just what it needs to.

I bought this as the deal zone deal of the day, and it's been fun to use so far. Pretty easy to load and use. You'll need a lot of film because you'll go through one roll in less than a minute. Looking forward to seeing the results once I have the film developed.
This was an interesting design and fun enough but it peanut really work all that well and the kinoscope didn't work at all
I used the camera just to get used to making movies with film instead of digital. For a beginner it is fantastic, it teaches you to load film, how to not waste your film, shutter speeds, apertures, and focus. It is made of plastic and is much smaller than it appears, it is about 5 or 6 inches tall. What I did not like about it is that the instructions are not clear, I had to go online and watch tutorials on how to use it, and a roll of film does not last very long in it. However, for those who are looking to start out in film, this is an excellent gateway camera.
So I will start from the beginning,At first the camera seemed fine the crank moved easily and the shuttersnapped clearly. The images from the first roll were more or less as expected. But by the second roll the red indicator stoped working and upon developing the film I noticed that some of the images were overlapping each other, as can be seen from the enclosed examples. As time went on, the camera continued to deteriorate and the cranking seemed to get stiffer and stiffer with each turn. In addition to all this, the shutter, unlike what B&H claimed, did not have a fixed speed and all the images were differently exposed. The tenth roll came back all blank except for one image at the very end.Overall, this was very disappointing experience and a waste of ... MoreSo I will start from the beginning,At first the camera seemed fine the crank moved easily and the shuttersnapped clearly. It is what is. A lomo hand crank camera. Its fun and its brilliant and I have no clue how and when I will use it, but I'm glad I got it and for the price its fantastic!!
It's a very funny item, it can get pricy with the use of film but totally worth it, once you develop you will have tons of fun with the shoots this camera brings to you, it's very simple to use and load the film
Ok, I get the whole Lomo thing, and have a spinner 360 that I like. That's a much higher quality product. The lomokino would actually be a nice idea had it been made by someone else. I find it amusing that the finder is glass, whereas the actual lens is plastic. That's ok, but the plastic lens is nothing short of garbage. Footage is terrible. Yes, I get the Lomo vibe, but a Kodak brownie lens is 100x better, and had this had something even like that, I could look past the poor cranking of the camera and other build issues to get some interesting results. Believe me, I did not expect even 8mm quality from this, but what I get is hardly acceptable. Put a different lens on here and have the handle not deflect during use, and I'd pay more. It's fun to use, but disappointing to see the footage. Give me better quality, and I'd use it as much as my spinner.
