Fun camera. Fantastic packaging. Because there's not a lot of options, it's easier to focus on taking pictures and framing. Also due to using the entire frame, sprockets included, it sways away from trying to perfect a shot which takes the weight off your shoulders. The simple dial also allows for unique double exposures.

This is a very nice little camera, and with very few settings, very easy to use. The camera doesn't specify but the sun/cloud/very cloudy ratings are calibrated for iso 400 film. When used with iso 400 the pictures are very clear, the pano lets you see so much more, and lets not forget SPROCKETS.All in a fun easy to use camera, but maybe not one to use everyday incase the novelty wears off.

I love this camera. So fun! Easy to use and it creates the coolest panoramic shots. Make sure you center your subject in the middle so the sprockets don't cover important visual information.

Haven’t gotten a roll developed yet but watching a few YouTube videos got me ready to go shoot with this baby. The strap holder thing on the bottom fell off my first day out so make sure it is secured properly before attaching a strap, but it came in good shape and I’m excited for the results!
I've been shooting with my iphone and my SX-70 and this camera just adds another fun way to capture images. Love the wide angle and the sprocket hole images. My only complaint is that there is no camera strap attachment points. I will have to make some sort of custom strap. Other than that, I love it.
Having owned and currently use a few Lomo cameras, I found the Sporcket Rocket to be a better build a stronger construction than the average Holga. Body is sturdy. Some of the Lomo cameras look as cheap as they are. This one, while being more money than a Holga, seems to reflect the extra cost. Loads as easy as a normal 35mm as opposed to some of the other Lomo products. You can wind either way and create fun and interesting double exposures. Just make sure you're in the proper frame. You will use half a roll due to it being a Pano. The one thing I discovered when developing is an extra cost for special development so that the sprocket holes are visible. I also had a lomo film loaded that required another extra cost. Its still my favorite new Lomo camera. I do enjoy ... MoreHaving owned and currently use a few Lomo cameras, I found the Sporcket Rocket to be a better build a stronger construction than the average Holga. Body is sturdy. I do enjoy pulling this little beauty out of my bag at a job where I'm using thousands of dollars worth of digital equipment.
It's plastic, it has a goofy semi reliable view finder finder, an f/10.8 30mm lens, and a 'fixed' 100th second shutter, so what's not to like. It's a toy that shoots real film, it's low fidelity to the nth degree. it's fun, a great way to break away from the fool proof, automated and overly controlled world of modern photography. Open yourself to chance and the lucky accident, spend the 80 bucks and try the SprocketRocket
In my house hold this little lump of plastic with a lens has been responsible for putting the fun back into "funtography."You will never produce the cleanest, sharpest, ground breaking of images but it will release you from the constraints of having to be sensible whilst pushing a shutter button. The Sprocket Rocket allows you to be artistic, allows you to play (even demands that you do) and makes you smile. That's what photography should be - smiling and fun.I bought this camera as a birthday gift for a photographer who just needed to let her hair down and enjoy creating images she would not normally create, and boy, did she have fun. This camera is responsible for a lot of giggles, double exposures and excitement. What more can you ask from a camera.
It's limited but performs well within its limitations. Great for sunny day photos, but moody interiors are also possible with high-ISO film stocks.
Only sharp in the middle. Better results come from Brownie cameras.
