I have this bag in the Sakura pattern, which is pale pink with, bafflingly, plum blossom print. The size, shape, and functionality of the bag are perfect. It’s lightweight but keeps its shape nicely. Best of all, it’s roomy enough to stuff your entire family’s down coats in when they complain that they don’t want to carry them (grrr). It’s also the perfect size for folders if you need to bring your work home (grrr). My only disappointment is that the lining of at least the Sakura pattern is not colorfast. I got caught in a thunderstorm once, and the dark red lining had bled onto the pale pink outer layer. I did get a refund when I brought the bag back to the store to ask if there was a way to restore it. They couldn’t replace it because it was a seasonal item.

I have the zippered expanding in navy , I have the original large with two pockets in black and tan , and i have the club size in deep ruby red, dodger blue and beige. The warranty is lifetime .Go to their website and find the warranty page. You fill out a form , they will email you a RA Number and you are responsible for shipping. my bag came back with clean corners but an inch shorter so they don’t put your old handle on a new bag, the simply cut and resew the bottom . For $30 round trip not a bad deal for a lifetime of use .

The handles are a little stiff at first but do soften and they do not dig into your shoulders. You can keep the tote on your shoulder with one strap while you grab your wallet at checkout with the tote open and the other strap off your shoulder. The only con is the leather flap does get in the way of the zipper at first but once you use the bag frequently, you’ll get a “system” and it won’t be as noticeable. The tabs on either side of the tote are handy for zipping and unzipping.Side note—I ordered the Large Le Pliage Tote in gunmetal about a month ago but my order ended up getting cancelled due to unavailability. I was told by customer service that I could place another order and they’d credit my account for the discount code I had used with that order. True to their word once the second order shipped, I was issued a credit. Nordstrom and Nordstromrack have excellent customer service.
I can't understand why no reviews of the Le Pliage talk about the holes in the corners that develope in these bags. I have both the small and the medium and they both have holes in the corners of the bottom of the bags. I am so disappointed. I loved both of my le Pliage bags at first. The tote for work and the small. I really like the brown and black combination. They both can hold a lot more than they look like. They are light and easy to carry. But they both have holes in the corners that make them look beat up that started after a short time. The corners fray where the holes develope. The point of these bags are that they look classy and are practical. Then this happens. They have been making them for years it's not like they don't know this happens.

This was my second Longchamp tote bag. Both had tiny holes on the bottoms of the bag where stitches end after I used it only 1-2 months. Nordstrom replaced the first one but the replacement one started having tiny holes at the end of bottom stitches in 6 months too. I also purchased one as a Xmas gift for a good friend. She said she had the same issue too. When I contacted Longchamp via email they said it was due to wear and tear and they did not warranty this. A good brand and expensive bag should not be worn like this in such a short period of time. I have similar style LaCoste brand tote bag. After 3 years it still looks like brand name without any sign of wear and tear. LaCoste totes are 100 times better than LongChamp totes. I will never purchase LongChamp brand

It's set up just like the other Le Pilage line bags (One huge open black hole, with a small pocket for your phone, gum, etc). However, it also suffers from the same issues. If you thought your items were hard to find in the smaller sized LP bags because it's a big black hole.. It's magnified in this bag. You Need pouches, or packing cubes, or folders, or something to keep your stuff together. Second, it also suffers from "saggy booty". If you put a lot of items inside, the bottom takes the weight and sinks down. Maybe I'm being fussy but it's not the cutest look. All my bags have the traditional tan handle and popper section, and I love the matched colour of this one. I would like to see more bags with colour matched leatherware. I bought this one to match a coat as it went perfectly. I was also unaware of the fact that you could hand the bag back should the corners wear which often develop into a tiny hole (after many years of use I might add), so rather than throw away and buy new, this is a great service to extend the life of the bag.
