I brought this dye about a month ago as I’d bleached my hair from a medium brown to around a level 9/10 blonde. This is honestly the best hair dye I have ever used. It’s the first time I have felt like I have had my hair done at a salon, my hair is so shiny, soft and luminous. I no longer have yellow tones to my hair and I have had nothing but compliments. The Shine Oil is an amazing accompaniment and really makes your hair feel sleek. This will definitely be replacing my normal hair dye routine. The Venice colour is something I don’t think I will ever change from. I feel so confident since using this product it’s amazing. Definitely recommend!

I’ve been dying my hair at home for years and have tried almost every brand. The resulting colour from this dye was exactly what I wanted and the conditioner is very good; my hair had a brilliant shine. It’s quite pungent and the dye is quite runny though, it will stain whatever it touches. I wouldn’t recommend if this is your first time dying, but for the experienced it gives a lovely and lasting result.

Loved it! Used it last night on my dyed hair that was a horrible gingery dark blonde. I can’t believe how even the colour is. My hair was super patchy from months of attempting to colour at home, my roots had also come through but this has made my hair colour so even, there’s no difference between the roots and the rest of my hair like I’ve had previously when going blonde.It is darker than the picture but then my hair was a very dark blonde to begin with. However I’m not unhappy about this as it looks super natural.
This is a dark brown base with gold highlights! The dye itself is lovely, very conditioning and doesn’t smell but the colour result wasn’t what I was wanting or expecting. Think you would need to be a very light blonde to achieve the colour on the box, if you’re a mid brown it will just go slightly darker with gold highlights.

The smell was not a strong bleach like I have experienced with other brands and have had headaches because of the strong smell. This one was perfect no headache no burning sensation or stingy eyes. The colour took to my hair very well! Much much better than I expected. Even better is I now have an extra two hair dyes to do my hair again and again as I didn’t use a whole bottle with my application. Very happy with how silky and soft my hair felt after I’d washed the dye off. Again I was expecting a dry frazzled feeling but it was salon silky. The brand I usually used was not available so thought I would try L'Oreal out again. I don’t ever write reviews but after reading all the negative reviews thought I had to. My hair is about 7 with red tones so I always use cool shade to kill the ginger! I’ve been using 7.1 for about 6 months now to cover my roots and grey steak I’ve got at the front, I wanted to go a little lighter for got this 8.1. I had about 1 inch roots my hair is right down my back and I used two packs. I did roots first then rest of the hair I left on for about 40 mins because I was busy watching something! I washed off, used the purple toner and it’s the colour of the woman on the box!! Really happy no ginger tones!
