I had been looking for months for a nude, comfortable, and supportive sports bra. After having my daughter two years ago, I have struggled to find one. I walked past an LJ shop and saw this in the window. After an amazing discussion with a team member who swore by these, I purchased one being a little sceptical stil especially since being a 16E-F (pending on the shape and style), but thought lets see how it goes. Absolutely fell in love with it, super comfortable and supportive. No digging in of straps on your shoulder and after a week I up buying two more. This sports bra restored my faith in sport bras for bigger chested women.

I am a 10F bust and I love this bra in a Small for training, high intensity and running. I take the padding out for better coverage and always do up the cross over at the back to hold the girls in place more.When Iâm doing more intense exercise I make sure that I wear a top that adds more compression and support to the bra - when you have big tatas you need maximum pressure to minimise momentum.Some people mention that there is a weird squeaky/rubbing sound when you first get Lorna Jane bras - itâs just because theyâre new. After a couple of wears the sound goes away. Iâve bought this bra many times over the years.extra points because there is no underwireIf you need more bust support youâll probably go down at least a size from what you normally wear

I thought this was going to be the same as the compression bra I had 5 years ago(which is still in top top condition) but unfortunately the fabric is different and it is not as supportive as the previous LJ comp bra. The material is softer, but is more stretchy. 1.For bigger bust girls like me 34D, it doesnât hold as well as it used to. 2. The plastic clasp at the back, kept making a noise every time I moved. I thought this would stop but it hasnât and unless I have music on when working out I can hear the âsqueakâ every time. Sometimes the underbust band for some models of LJ bras are a bit loose on me but this is good. It is a bit smaller in the underbust band than some other LJ bras (like my The One Bra, which has a stretchier and looser underbust band). It is about the same as my The Perfect Bra (which I also love). With my The Perfect and Compress and Compact bras, I hook the last outermost hooks, but with my The One bra, I hook the middle hook instead. I also like the biscuit colour as I wanted a nude that didnât look âtooâ nude (i.e. wouldnât look weirdly naked for workouts without a top on), and this was somewhat darker than my actual skin colour, while still being a good colour to wear under light collared clothes. I bought this to wear as a normal bra under normal clothes as the bra is pretty comfortable, and I like the convertible clasp so it also can be worn for workouts, the clasp does creak but itâs never bothered me. I would say itâs best for medium impact, this falls short of high impact for me.One star off because of the following cons: 1) the padding is SO THICK. I know some people like this but for me, this is a workout bra not a push up bra, and I really wish for a thin padding option. 2) The bra canât be worn without padding - when I remove the overly thick padding, the material is rather thin, so it shows the nipple shape. So I have to buy my own bra insets to put them in to replace the overly thick LJ ones, which I really shouldnât have to do with a bra this price. Moulded cups may be helpful but if not, I again wish we had the option for thin padding instead of having thick padding be the only padding option. 3) While the underbust band is firm and supportive and the straps are good, the main drawback is that the cup material is rather thin since itâs just their nothing 2 c here cloth material that they also use for their tights (hence why I canât wear the bra without padding because nipples stick out). So, the material is stretchy, and this results in the cup itself bouncing around a lot. This is why I call it a medium support rather than high support bra, although I love it. Aesthetics from LJ are always on point tho, this bra looks great.LJ I love you and have spent so much $$$$, please please please give us the option of thin padding and not just only thick padding for your bras. Iâm 75D and I donât need padding that thick, but your bras canât be worn without padding (nipple shape is visible) !
Great bra, firm but very comfy bra - only gave it four stars because it is designed for a longer body than mine; the straps arenât super tight even at their minimum length, I have to use the racer back clasp to achieve a firm hold; also the pads sit in the bra in beautifully sewn pockets so they donât twist or flip around, but the pocket sits a little low on my short torso, giving the boobs a down pointing look very slightly. Iâm 159cm for reference. Otherwise, I love it and after taking the pads out, I wear it all the time as a comfy nude minimizer bra.
So comfy and stylish. Hard to find sports bras with hook closures in the back. I have previous shoulder injury and normal sports bras are so tight, without the hooks, taking them off would re-injure my shoulder. This brand is a pleasant discovery. Itâs so much cuter than the usual zipper front bras which look bulky. These are sexy. Love the navy color! This is my second from this brand.
I now own 4 compress and compact bras! I purchased for running, however find myself using them as an everyday item. Super supportive, yet super comfortable. Give a good shape under active wear and normal clothes. I love the neutral colors, as I always opt for this bra under a white shirt. The versatility of the clip at the back is awesome. I clip it up for high intensity WOs, I clip for everyday wear.
I am really impressed with these bras. The fabric is so soft and comfortable. The straps and back clips allow gor different levels of support.They wash well and have stayed in good condition with daily wear.Great for everyday wear and for fitness.My only suggestion is to change the shoulder straps to allow them to be a bit tighter, as the fabric has a fair bit of stretch. This would allow a bit more support. But please keep this style and fabric!
For the first time ever I was disappointed by a lorna jane purchase. I was so excited to try this sports bra marketed as being for larger busts watching tiktoks of girls running around bounce free. Alas that was not the case with this sports bra. I felt as though I had less support than a normal underwire bra and enough bounce to knock myself out cold. Very disappointing this is lorna janes way of including bigger busted girls, they've missed the mark on this one.
