There is a secondary mic in the ear cup, if you need it in a pinch. The earcups rotate easily, if you need to adjust them for your head, or to listen to ambient sounds around you more intently.The sound the LucidSound produces is balanced, and capable of handling a wide range of frequencies without losing richness. I love that you can turn the dial on the earpiece to lower or raise the volume (and that it isnÕt a tiny dial as it is in many headsets, itÕs big). It looks just the same as the other side, so the dial doesnÕt stand out or distract from the aesthetics of the headphones. And because it is so large, making minor adjustments is super simple to make, so that dialing in the perfect sound is a breeze. Too, by pressing the large dial, you can mute the microphone, which is super handy (including a red LED that confirms that you are, indeed, muted.The base of the cord is thickened, but flexible, and it is holding up well. This is the place that IÕm most worried about failure in any headset, but the LucidSound build quality seems better expected, so I anticipate this not being a problem for a very long time.With both my Xbox and PC, they work flawlessly, and IÕve not had issues with compatibility.All that said, I am very satisfied with the LucidSound LS10X, and do recommend.

I got this headphone set for my nephew that does a lot of gaming. She is kind of hard on headsets, lol. This one has been a good one so far. I did try these for myself and I have to say the sound quality is awesome! I have to be honest, I wasn't expecting them to be as good as they are, but I was pleasantly surprised. There was no distortion or static noises. The microphone works really well too. I could hear my niece talking through it very clearly. She absolutely loves the blue color and overall look of the headset and it is comfortable to wear also, which is pretty important. The padding makes them sit nicely and stay comfortable after a long time of gaming. I really recommend these to anyone looking for a really good headset at a great price.

An easy fix if you know what to do, but the soldering for wires should never come undone.Finally, I've noticed that the volume wheel gets patchy and sometimes you have to wiggle it a bit to make sure both headphones are getting sound as it will sometimes cut them off. Again, a problem unique to this headset.All in all this is a great sounding headset, but for the price you can get more reliable hardware from different brands.

You can easily adjust the volume by spinning the outside ear cup on the left, and adjusting the game/chat balance by spinning the ear cup on the right. You can mute the mic by pressing in the right ear cup and mute the audio by pressing the left ear cup. All of this works so well and it’s so easy to use. You can also tell it’s muted by the light on the boom mic. There is also an EQ button that lets you choose which sound settings you want too.Overall, the sound quality is great. I can hear the audio well, as well as my friends. Using the mic and muting it is super easy. This headset is extremely comfortable. There isn’t anything that I don’t like! I got this This headset is light weight and has very good quality sound for the price and is very comfortable. Microphone works good as well. Lights on the sides of the headset make it look nice.Only complaint is that this headset is meant for PC users given the fact that both the USB cable and microphone plug in are connected very close together to the cable. Meaning, that if you are playing on PS4 you plug the microphone cable into the controller but can't plug the USB cable into the system for the lights. I ended up buying a 3 foot USB extension cable in order to be able to use the lights. it sounds awful. max volume isnt loud enough to hear my friends clearly and it does that awful buzzing/humming noise and it crackles and has horrible connection even with a wired controller. its worse than some 5 dollar earbuds that have been run over by a bus and soaked in a toilet. never regretted a purchase this bad in my entire life. id rather be stabbed than use this headset again
