I always like to keep a Lucozade sport raspberry in my bag when I am participating in sports based activity such as gym, running or fight klub. . Its my goto on a training day , hot day or a day when I know Ive got a lot of activities on. Its a perfect balance of carbohydrates and electrolytes in a still delicious raspberry flavour without any bloating and its refreshing to quench your thirst and it will give you the perfect pick me up without crashing your sugars. This is my favourite flavour to drink and I find sipping some just before my work out, some more during and then the other half after gives me my best performance. Thanks to Lucozade Sport.

Fake reviews galore

Seriously. Just read them. Some people are posting multiple reviews. The reviews also appear on other sites. They all say very similar stories - tales of ill children and how what a great brand it is. They're also false. Saying there's less sugar than there was (there isn't) and how it's a great glucose boost (it's no more than any other drink such as Fanta, and a can of Coke would give you way more). These are all faked to give their new recipe a boost. But it tastes bad.

Not the original, but close to the best

I don't think anybody thinks this is as good as it once was – the changes in recipe over the decades, the sugar tax – both seem to have carved a slice out of the Lucozade greatness. It's still very palatable, however, and is great to have as a standby for when you need a fizzy pick-me-up. While they diversify to all the corners of the fruit world there is still a place for the original flavour, and it's very nice – even if it isn't the actual original flavour.

Review of Lucozade 8pk Energy Original

I have been drinking Lucazade for over 50yrs now and back then it was in a glass bottle with gold wrap and advertised as "an aid to recovery" that was sold mainly in chemists. My mother would buy it for me when I had a bad cold or flu. Now Lucazade is classed as a sports drink an energy drink and for me the only fizzy drink that I enjoy today.I buy a lot of Lucazade in 8pk and drink 40+ bottles a week due to being soo tasty straight from the fridge that no other drink comes close.
