Love Lurpak. It is very creamy, paler, not as yellow as normal butter but still a buttery taste. The best bit is it spreads so easily straight from the fridge. This huge pack is a must when we have family staying as the smaller packs go too quickly. The 750g size is much better value. What was left kept very well with the re-sealable lid in the fridge, staying spreadable to the last bit.

Love Lurpak. It is so easy to spread straight from the fridge. It has a creamy taste, perfect on fresh bread. Being a pale creamy colour it does look different to normal butter but also less salty which I prefer. I choose this small 250g size to take if I'm going to be away from home. Great to have a resealable lid which keeps it fresh for ages even when buying the larger packs.

Great tasting spread but the lighter version. You cant notice too much of a difference between this and the standard version so i think this is a great option for the health conscious individual. It lets you keep the great taste of lurpak without worrying about it being too unhealthy. It spreads really well on toast and sandwiches and the pack size is perfect for the small family.

Such a great tasting spread, it's butter but in an easily spreadable format. Keep it in the fridge and it's still Immediately spreadable without needing to wait for it to soften at all. Nothing beats the taste of butter and this has that taste and is lovely and rich and creamy. It's great on toast, sandwiches or in mashed potato. It's a real winner.
Until recently, our household used Lurpak and Lurpak only. When grocery costs began increasing at an alarming rate, we had to reassess our outgoings. Having never really stopped to compare the cost of Lurpak to other brands, I was flawed at how much more expensive this butter is, and that it is on average 100g lighter. The taste of Lurpak is second to none, I just can't justify buying it anymore, unless we find it on offer.
I'm a big fan of Lurpak and this 'Softest' version does what it says it spreads straight from the fridge without any need to leave it to get up to room temperature for a few minutes. That was a definite plus point. What slightly detracted for me was that it had a little more watery taste than the Lurpak Spreadable. It was a good price and I would buy it again if it was on offer though as a direct comparison I would rather stick to my usual reliable Lurpak.
I’ve purchased the spreadable lurpak previously and thought it was quite nice, and close enough in flavour to the unadulterated pure butter from Lurpak. I just bought this in the new 750g size and the flavour is not great, you can really taste the proportion of rapeseed oil in this product. I wouldn’t buy it again. It’s better than butter-flavoured spreads but it’s certainly not a nice ‘spreadable real butter’ product. Distinct margarine taste.
Love the 750g size pack. Also that it is spreadable out of a fridge at 4 degrees centigrade ( a lot colder than my old fridge ) and does not tear the bread the way ordinary Lurpak Butter does when cold.The taste of it is good, even though it has the rapeseed oil through it ( nearly 25 percent )Not too salty either.Does not last long in our family.Extra bonus is that it is freeze able.
Have always resisted buttery spreadables but finally tried this with few expectations as I love Lurpak all butter for flavour especially on crumpets & toast. What a delightful surprise. That great Lurpak flavour but it spreads from the fridge like a dream. Unlike some other products that claim to be spreadable this actually is. Able to spread on bread straight from the fridge. It also has a nice taste. I cannot stand the margariney taste some of these spreads have but this is very good.
It no longer tastes the same. I'm assuming it's the rapeseed oil. Lurpak has always had it's unique wonderful taste. I've recently tried this and the lighter version and in my opinion you can no longer taste the Lurpak flavour. I've gone back to try a block of Lurpak. Hopefully that still tastes the same.
