We love our frames. This is the second frame we have bought. Both purchased for elderly parents. One with dementia who is no longer able to watch television. He gets hours of enjoyment from his frame. It is a perfect way for him to feel connected with family. Easy for us to use and share memories both old and new with them.

With the new Frameo was a 10% discount offer. When I went to the Luvlink website after Christmas, there was on offer a 'sale price' of $219 ($1,095 for FIVE Frameos). But the website refused to accept the code for the 10% discount. I emailed Luvlink concerning my disappointment but Luvlink did not respond. More recently Luvlink is offering the Frameo for $218. I would expect that the 'first purchase' 10% code would also be accepted. But maybe not. Don't expect Luvlink to engage with you.2. Our Frameo is very touchy when it comes to turning it on and off. Multiple attempts with the button switch will put power to the screen but it will be without a picture. It seems to take a magic touch (or unplugging the power and then plugging it back in again) to get the Frameo to truly turn on. I don't know if this a problem peculiar to our Frameo or whether it is general. Suffice to say, it is frustrating trying to turn the device on. (AND NEVER UNPLUG THE DEVICE UNTIL IT IS TURNED OFF! Yes, we have never broken this rule!)3. The concept is great! I just wonder if there are more reliable products on the market being offered by more engaging companies.

THE VERY BEST PRESENT FOR MY ELDERLY FATHER THIS CHRISTMAS!My 91 year old father has limited mobility and is spending more time at home in his chair.This photo frame allows him to remember so many special times he has had in his life and discuss with family and carers when they come to visit. I bought this for Mum for Mother's Day. I set it up at my place first to see how it works.My sisters sent photos and that was great. But I also sent my own photos to it and it was lovely to see them off the phone.Within a couple of days I knew that I needed one as well, and my sister has also ordered one for her, and one for her mother-in-law overseas.It's really easy to use and clever. Like you can send videos with sound, but it will automatically mute them after 10 minutes so they don't randomly go off all day as the slide show runs through.A really fun product which is totally addictive and I know mum will love it!

We even found out we are going to be grandparents when our kids simply put the ultrasound photo in the picture cycle. We can see the frame from the dinner table and that was an exciting moment when that picture appeared between familiar pictures that had been on the frame for weeks! "Wait! Unfortunately, I dropped our frame this morning during a painting project and just ordered a replacement. We can hardly wait for the new one to arrive. It says no WiFi needed, but it does require WiFi to get the pictures. I live in a rural area with no internet so it was extremely disappointing to see that was not true. I used my personal hotspot to at photos but my family will not be able to surprise me with photos because I will need to connect it to my hotspot. The photos display nicely. The luvlink app does not work with the frame. You need the Frameo app.

I spent a good amount of time with customer support to verify what plug it comes with. They assured me it does not come with an AC power plug, but with a USB charger than can be plugged into any USB port. It took very long for them to understand what I actually mean. Anyways it does not come with a USB charger, but with wall plug USB. So it is very important to understand that this “long distance friendship” product will only work within the US. So it’s more of a not so long distance product. Don’t buy this if your friend / partner is anywhere but in the US. Completely pointless. Will probably last a month if connected to adapter
