Doesn’t feel very sturdy. Instructions were terrible. Delivery was in two parts days apart. Arrived slightly damaged not sure if it was the poor packaging from luxo living or the delivery company who clearly didn’t have an organized system in their truck as nothing was secured and took them about 15 mins to find out package when they arrived at our house.

Bed was easily delivered and easy to put together. Very sturdy but unsure about suitability for older kids. We bought it for our 14 yr old and 4 yr old and even though it says it is weight rated for 150kg on the top bunk, the slats seemed to crunch and we were concerned they would brake soWe have added additional supports. Nothing actually did break though so not so much an issue but an observation.Great bed though and no issues so far. Recommend but maybe for younger kids.

Terrible quality. My two kids aged 6 and 9 need to get onto it very carefully for fear it might break. It’s not the colour as depicted on the website either. I expected dark brown/almost black coloured wood and it is red in colour. It’s absolutely horrible. Don’t bother

The bed arrived with a slight tear to the external packaging but the internal components were perfect.The instructions were placed in the smaller of the two boxes. The assembly process was straight forward but spending a couple of minutes reading through the instructions will definitely make the assembly easier.Assembly took around three hours with one person, an additional person is required to life the upper bunk onto the lower bunk.Quite sturdy once assembled, the finish is better than I expected. We had one pre-drilled hole which was a little off centre so that one took a few extra minutes to complete, otherwise it was pretty straight forward.We use 10cm mattresses, this leaves plenty of room for the barrier to protect the upper bunk occupant. I suggest a 15cm (or even 20cm) mattress may be better for the lower bunk as this will raise the mattress above the side rails and reduce the chance of the occupant knocking themselves against the pine side rail.
I was skeptical when purchasing as I thought the great price meant the item would be poor quality, or the customer service would be terrible. In fact, it was delivered promptly without issues and the item was great quality! Very happy with my purchase.
Instructions not clear at times, needs to be made clear that pieces are numbered as once I figured that out it was easier. Ok quality.
Looks great but took 2 of us 7 hours to build so be prepared. Instructions are not all that clear. But looks good now it’s up
This bed was not worth the money. Shipping to Western Australia took several weeks. The bed was constructed of poor quality, roughly finished weak wood, and no instructions were included. I rang customer service several times during business hours with no answer. My 18 kg child broke the thin piece of wood that holds the support slat to the frame.
The slats and vertical slabs were the wrong size (too short) and so we had to get a handyman to help us re-size and re-fit them in order to make it work. There is no way we could have put this bed together by ourselves. We had asked for the bed to not be delivered without us being notified as it was going to our beach house, and it was just dropped off at the door without notification and we had to drive 3 hours to collect it on a night we didn't want to go. After all that, the bed is of good quality and sturdy.
