Unfortunately my quilt cover loses feathers and malts worse than our cat. We have to vacuum tiny down feathers every 2 days from our carpet. Sorry but the price really determines the quality with this item

SUPER ULTRA HOT - not for the feint hearted - we lost a few kilos water-weight with this douna but its wonderful. Light, fluffy and true to size. Only issue I had was a warehouse smell when it arrived so I had to air t on the clothesline for a few hours.
This quilt is definitely nice and warm however there are small feathers all over our bed. Which feels grotty. I have had to buy a different quilt as I can not use this one.
