The gel itself is very good quality but the bottle cap design prevents it being inverted on the bathroom shelf when not in use. When coming to finishing the contents, a significant amount of gel clings to the sides of the bottle and unless you are prepared to wait an eternity for it to reach the discharge point you could lose another four or five good shower's worth of gel. Considering this is by no means a cheap product then a redesigned top cap would make it much more cost effective and less frustrating. I overcome this problem by placing the inverted bottle in a plastic tub so the gel is always at the discharge point, not very pleasing to the eye but effective.

I like the smell. It seems to stop any nasty smells all day unless you are doing something very physical in humid weather - in which case you'd probably wash again anyway. Ok, I don't think it's a strong anti perspirant but therefore it doesn't irritate the skin or stain your shirts which I have found with another major brand. So that's good. The value 6 pack is great because I have occasionally found difficulty getting the "Black" fragrance in supermarkets.

My sons quite like Lynx products, so I was pleased to get a free sample of this shower gel to review. I like the fact that it's a double-size bottle. The packaging (apart from the lid) is both made from 100% recycled plastic and is recyclable - which is a positive. Shame about the lid - surely Unilever could fix that to be recyclable too? Overall though: good product, four stars (and would get five if the packaging was fully recyclable),

I received this for free from Ocado. I usually think products like this would have an overpowering smell, but was pleasantly surprised by this. The smell is nice and not too strong, and cleans well too. You don't need to use much of it when compared to other shower gels.
Got this free for review, but it?s a good sized bottle for the price. It?s Lynx - not overwhelmingly so, but if you?ve ever existed near teenage boys you know what this is. Cleans well, and I didn?t find the smell lingered around too much after, so that was a positive for me. Lid worked better than a lot of products I try - so props to the makers for that!
I?m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. When I gave this to OH he was not impressed at first but after telling him to sniff it he was converted. There is something very more-ish about Lynx smells! I dont think you can get better bang for your buck shower gel wise then this masive bottle and he said it worked fine so I'd definitely buy this again for an everyday wash rather than his double the price for a smaller bottle he did use.

As for the smell, it does smell more sophisticated than their earlier classic options, such as Africa. I was impressed with the smell of the cedarwood coming through, I can't honestly say I could smell the frozen pair. But it certainly has a cologne smell to it which I am impressed with. Which lasts a good half an hour once you have gotten out of the shower.
