The square pastel crayons are suitable for drawing fine lines and can equally be used with their entire body for large and uniform areas. They leave a strong and intense stroke, are easy to smudge and can be removed with kneadable eraser. The amount of binder has been reduced to a minimum that just ensures the adhesion of the pigments to the sheet. The colour is therefore extremely pure and luminous; this property is further enhanced when more or less rough paper is used. To ensure better adhesion of the colour powders to the paper, a fixative can be used. The coordinated shades of grey can be optimally combined. The set contains twelve assorted square pastel crayons in shades of grey.
