I bought 4 boxes for our backyard. Lasted 5 months, two of the stings the lights blew and would fill up with water and rusted up. Thankfully we took them back and are now on the hunt for commercial ones that will withstand a rain.

I replaced the faulty ones only to find it happened again. One string of lights actually managed to last more than one month but subsequently rusted even though it was out of the weather. Don't bother with the hassle. You'll end up spending more time exchanging them than using them! I'm now on the look out for some quality ones.

The outside rusted quickly then the wires to the globes rusted so lights went extremely dull then stopped working. The lights were in outdoor undercover area so no exposure to rain. Didn’t last long at all. Looked fantastic to begin with.
Had for about 12months now, rusted within a few months, they were nice and bright to begin with, brightened up my whole balcony well, now very minimal light.
Lights look great at night. I have 3 bundles connected and in my wisdom threw out 1 of the power sources as I thought I wouldn't need them. Turns out the first one no longer works and only have the second one now. Is this a co.mon issue?
I hung these with great excitement in my back yard. They looked pretty - until the first time they got rained on. The metal parts rusted sooooo quickly. Ruined the look of the lights. And now tonight, after only a month, one of the strings has stopped working.
I purchased four sets in September. One set, only half work, some bulbs have filled with water. Rust on all four sets. Other bulbs starting to fill with water. Don't waste your money.
We are incredibly disappointed with these lights. We purchased two separate sets so we could connect them together. Within a month the (faux) batons had rusted, within three months one of the strings had stopped working, and then last week (less than nine months after purchase) the second carked it. Just to rub salt into the wound, I had to dump the entire lot into the rubbish. Not one part was recyclable. Do better, Bunnings. If you're going to sell the home improvement equivalent of fast fashion then at least make sure its recyclable.
I have bought 2x 4 packs =8, the last purchase of 4 boxes have not even lasted this season. The first lot lasted around 4mths, so gave the benefit of the doubt, tried again. Not cheap, I will never buy again. They are not made for outdoor weather..
