I purchased this item about a month ago and my dog gets upset now if I walk outside without it.It is easy to load and shoots the ball a good distance.I made the mistake of firing it blank without a ball in the chamber (there is a warning on the packaging stating not to do so) which resulted in the spring mount breaking away from the main body.I shall put this one aside for spare parts should something break on the new one I have since purchased.
