I love Mac lipsticks and will wear nothing else! I find the staying power outlasts other brands and I can eat, drink throughout the day with minimal top-ups. The colour and shine of the new glossy range smells beautiful and reflects the light. I just want more bright pink colours to chose from! The staff at Mac John Lewis are always friendly with great advise and make me feel very comfortable. A great buying experience!

I have the original hug me shade and the reformulated one looks nothing like the original. I went in store to purchase the lipstick but the new one is more orange. The original shade was more brown/nude and looked good with out a lipliner which is hard to find for a medium skin tone. I tried to find something similar in store but there was nothing. Another customer also was also there when I was who wanted the same shade but also did not like the fact that it was not the same. When I swatched it as well it was more glossy and less pigmented than the original. The original lustre finish was much better.

The original Syrup was my go-to shade when I was in college. It's been a while since I've bought a MAC lipstick, so I was surprised to see this new formula! Honestly, I prefer the original. This lipstick is creamy, it feels nice on the lips, and the color is still great. It just doesn't last as long and doesn't have the same color payoff. On top of that, the product broke in the tube after first use!! I've never had that issue with a MAC lip before so that's pretty disappointing. Overall, I like the product but I don't love it.
I was #Gifted this product from MAC for being in their loyalty program (MAC Lover) in the obsessed tier. I absolutely love this shade as I love nude lipsticks. I recommend using MAC's lip primer with this product as it will allow the product to stay on longer. It gives a beautiful shine and adds moisture to your lips. I say that this color is universal and will compliment many different skin tones. I happen to use C6 in MAC's studio fix powder powder and I am the shade dark in their mineralize skinfinish powder. If you are considering if your going to purchase this product I say go ahead and do so you will love it. Especially in this shade.
This won’t be for everyone, but if a sheer buildable lip is what you like then you’ll love this. I’m very fair, lightest in all foundations and I’ve always wanted a my lips but better shade and struggled to find it, thanks it’s mac is it for me. It swatches pink but on the beige pinky side but on the lips it’s perfection. It’s a sheer lip but you can build it up if you like. I got on sale at 20% off too so very much worth the price, but I will be buying the lipstick in other shades too. It’s super comfortable on the lips with a soft glossy finish.

I ordered a Mac lipstick. Delivery was prompt but there was nothing in the package except a squashed lipstick container and a hole in the plastic bag! Possibly the lipstick had fallen out in the processing department or had been purloined by someone who fancied it themselves? It's a mystery to me. Thank you for refunding the cost of the lipstick but I've still been charged £4 for the delivery. I have since bought the same lipstick from another site - actually I got two for the same price (£22) that you charge for one so I won't be recommending Asos to anyone I know.

I purchased two colors, Local Celeb, and Hug Me. Both are perfect for my coloring which is fair/light skin, green eyes and coppery red hair. One coat goes on nicely sheer with a good tint of color. A second coat intensifies the color. It feels so light on the lips and doesn't dry them out. I have to reapply after eating, but that's typical for me with any lip color.
