I bought what appeared to be the last remaining size M jacket. When it arrived it became apparent why this was the last jacket in stock - it had a few faults. A section of the quilt on the front was missing the down filler which was very obvious on the orange side as the dark navy from the reverse was coming through. The same fault was along sections of the sleeves. Overall the quality is not great, not just because of the missing filler but also wonky stitching and uneven panel seams.

Great jacket. Sizing a bit small, so glad I went up a size. Not tried it in really cold weather, as I bought it in springtime, but in 11 degree morning walk, with only a t shirt, toastie! Packs easily and compact. Reversible, which is a bonus. Very pleased with my purchase.

I love the yellow colour but the purple is visible through the arms, which are thinner padding than the body. It's a great practical addition to spring/summer evenings outdoors though. Love that it packs down into your backpack/hand luggage. I am size 14 and ordered a large and it's on the roomy size.

I was looking for a small-packaway down jacket which I could take on long bike rides or drop into a rucsac. Nothing too bulky, so the Polar looked ideal. It's nicely stitched with a quality zip, pockets accessible whichever way it's worn, and the nylon shell should cope with a little dampness. I picked mine up at a very attractive discounted price from Target Dry, and it was delivered promptly via Royal Mail. Ideal.So far I've only worn it around the house and in the garden, but in a couple of months it'll be seeing service in the great outdoors.

Comfy & Warm

Nice jacket - comfy & warm and if it's anything like my previous one it should last well and wash well. Love the purple colour - not so sure about the bright yellow. My previous one was purple and green, which I actually prefer, despite it being several years old and a bit shabby now. This new one looks to be a bit warmer as it has more down in it, so it doesn't pack down quite so small as my old one. Its really surprising how warm these jackets are considering how lightweight they are.

Exceeds my expectations

This reversible style is perfect for my needs. The darker colour for working and the quick change for those late nights walking home when the yellow will stand out. Thought this might be too short but a perfect length with a longer back. Have only recently received this jacket but so far it doesn’t disappoint. In fact I don’t think it will be in its pouch very often.

Lovely jacket

I haven't worn it much yet but so far it is warm and wind resistant. I love that it's reversible which makes it excellent value. I am a UK size 12-14 (bust size 39") and the fit is snug but that's what I wanted. I discovered that the size guide gives the garment measurements so it's easy to select the fit you want. If I needed to wear more than a base layer or t-shirt under it I would get size L. Very tempted to get another just for the fun colours.

Mac in a sac

Ligtweight and can be packed small. Looks very nice. Sleeves are a little short for taller people. Can be a bit itchy when wearing without a sweater or jersey.

Polar Down Jacket

Looks well made though there is no coat hanger attached, presumably since this is a reversible jacket. Very much a mid weight item (which is what I wanted). It is certainly windproof and warm enough with a thin fleece when out walking in 5-8C weather

This jacket was fantastic to wear whilst in Otterburn recently giving ACF Cadets the opportunity to try Climbing. It prevented me from getting a chest infection on the windy days and we had a bit of fun when I turned it Yellow side around, instead of wearing a reflective, when at the back of the group. Very versatile. So glad I made the decision to purchase it.
