I can't say enough good things about Beauty Affairs. I've been a loyal customer now for about three years and can't fault their delivery - it feels like I get VIP Express Post when I just make a regular order. I (now) do a lot of online shopping across the board (clothes, shoes, beauty, etc.) and Beauty Affairs stand out from every other vendor I have shopped with throughout COVID as fast, reliable, and essentially flawless in their supply chain when even the previously-good-ones have slowly fallen victim throughout 2021 to COVID disruptions and delays. Whatever they're doing, it works! I will only shop elsewhere for beauty, cosmetics, and perfume on the odd occasion they don't stock a brand I want, but apart from that, I say: MECCA, who? Sephora, what? ^.^

I have always loved the fast service of Beauty Affairs with free samples with my orders. Last month my shampoo bottle broke in the post and leaked everywhere. When I advised Beauty Affairs they sent a new bottle straight away free of charge. Unfortunately this order did not arrive so when I advised them of this Anna at Client Care sent me a new bottle straight away but along with this she also sent me the matching conditioner, and my favourite full cleanser to say sorry. I have not experienced such amazing customer service in a long time. I’ve always had amazing service from Beauty Affairs and will not buy my beauty products anywhere else

I had a very good experience with Lorena from customer support. I was querying the cost of Youngblood mineral makeup on live chat (excellent product by the way) of which I had bought 2. The cost of the item displayed for sale appeared less than the final checkout price. It turned out the sale price was for a particular color but this was unclear on the page. Lorena looked into the discrepancy immediately and after explaining the reason, offed to give me a refund on that particular sale to compensate for the confusion. She was polite and considerate throughout. It’s good to know that such a fabulous Aussie company has such lovely staff!

But really I wanted to come here and give thanks and my 5 stars to Beauty Affairs! In this current climate (covid) it’s been tough.... I’m a mum of three with a small baby and a child with special needs who as anyone in NSW would know r home doing school.... shops aren’t open anyway and I have been in real need of a “glow up” Beauty Affairs helped me! How? First off, they have great customer service! They’re very friendly and get back to you straight away (given it is within working hours) the pack it and send it and I honestly receive it the next morning! To me those are two of the most important things! I can’t go out I don’t have time to do anything... I appreciate anyone who can get me my stuff quick and who actually get back to you! I just have to take a moment to give a shout-out to the team over Beauty Affairs and this awesome little (perhaps not so little :)) company. EVERY time I place an order, it's always perfect. Great deals and prices, great communication, super-fast delivery, great range of GENUINE products. I can't even tell you what their customer service is like because I've never had need of it before! This is my first time trying this mascara out. I think the packaging is quite big. I find the mascara to be a wet formula. The wand is big with lots of small plastic bristles. I found it separated my lashes nicely, but because the wand is so big I was struggling to apply to my inner corners and bottom lashes. This did smudge easy and small flakes did fall under my eyes.

This mascara is oke. I see no difference when I use a cheaper mascara. It says it creates length.. check, its black.. check, it gives volume.. maybe if you built it up with more layers. I did one layer and I think my lashes are nicely seperated and there are no clumps. The mascara doesn’t make my lashes heavy, so at the end of the day my lashes look the same - up to the sky. The brush has two sides, one bigger than the other. That makes it easier to apply. The brush isn’t hard for my lashes. And there are no smudges on my skin when I apply. For the price I wouldn’t buy the mascara. But the mascara is lashes-friendly.

Disappointed - the sample was MILES better

I was really surprised at how much I disliked this. I actually received a sample of this and adored it for my bottom lashes. The texture and brush were perfect and provided a very precise and defined application with a full look. I bought a larger size because i liked the sample so much but it was completely different. I found this to be sort of thick and glopy yet liquidy too. Lots of problems with wet clumps, i had to keep combing though them to even out the product. Doing so added more layers that i didnt want. It dried out pretty fast too. I know its a small size but that was also disappointing. Last but not least when i washed this off it stung my eyes like crazy and made them feel sensitive/irritated and fatigued though out the day. Will not buy again.

Love this mascara.

I use a white Primer first and follow it with this....It builds layers pretty quickly and makes the lashes nice and thick. Mac got rid of that awesome short stick one that had no other makeup line had. I wish they had that stick with this formula it would be killer! I think the short stick would help out everyone with application.... the short stick offers so much flexibility and to treat the eye lash like it is supposed to be treated in 3 short segments.... no one's eyelashes are straight all the way across which is why I never understood this model..... ANYWAY! I suppose I can cut my wand :)

No smudging!

Despite it not being water proof, it doesn't smudge at all, like every other mascara I've tried. Yet when you go to remove it, it easily dissolved with warm water! Lengthens and adds some volume, formula is smooth. I wish the wand was slightly curved instead of straight, but I will be buying the full size once I finish this mini.
